They have a good friendly staff here. I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are very helpful to answer any questions or address any concerns the family may have about our loved one. Crafts, painting, library, an outdoor space, a lot of group of activities and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose. My loved one likes the food. There is a beautician on site for manicures, pedicures, and hair. There is also a doctor on staff for the residents that comes once a week.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but the facility felt institutional and we were looking for a place that would feel more like an apartment complex.

We moved her in before Christmas and they loaned her a bunch of furniture until hers got in. The staff went above and beyond to help us move her things in there. The level of care that the staff have for their residents is just unbelievable. The residents are their #1 priority and they make that known. If you have any concerns all you have to do is say something and it will be handled. Everyone I have met from the sales director on down to the housekeeping staff, they are all incredible. The activities director does a good job coming by and trying to encourage her to go to thing and they have tons to do. They do have meetings where residents can discuss their likes and dislikes. The second Tuesday of every month they are having meetings on zoom with the families of those whose loved ones are going through dementia and Alzheimer's which is very helpful for those who need it or want it. There are having an open house soon where we can meet all of the staff members since there has been some turnover lately. They are great with their covid guidelines and try their best to keep all the residents as safe as possible.

We had a really good tour with Somerford House, but it was not what my mom was looking for. There were more residents in wheelchairs and it just did not seem as active of a community as she wanted.

Nice place but too big for my loved one. It had a lot of people with a lot of energy.

Our only complaint is with the care services, and we are not sure if it is the staff themselves or our loved one being difficult but sometimes we are unsure how much our loved one is getting bather. However the staff are bringing back the activities and encouraging the residents to get involved again.

The staff seem to really take ownership over what they are doing and the different care levels for the residents they are caring or. We have had previous experiences at many different communities and it is the complete opposite. We would recommend Walnut Creek community to anybody in the country, put this place first on your list if you live in this area or around the area. We do not believe there would be one person dissatisfied, this place stands so for above it is almost to good to be true

It is a great place but it is expensive. They do have nursing fees that are separate from the apartment/room fees. It was higher than expected.

Coming from another community the Orchard Park is a much better price. The staff are super friendly and really stood out to us initially. Considering our fathers condition the staff really just go above and beyond.

Everything has been good. We've had a good experience at Barrington Terrace. I like the staff and the way they run things. And the facility is very clean.

After what my dad was in for 5.5 years at another facility, this place just blows it out of the water. The food is excellent, it is less expensive, and there have just been no complaints from his end. He has a full apartment with a full sized kitchen and it is very spacious. I would absolutely recommend them to other looking. The location is amazing, it is walking distance to restaurants, stores, parks, etc. so he does not feel trapped.

They were really fast on admission. We were in a tough spot in the beginning. They were very helpful. They are great and I would definitely recommend them. They offer lots of activities including exercise for the residents. I was glad to see this and they had a casino night one night. One night they had made slime. It was adorable seeing my loved one enjoying making the slime. We had to sit back and watch the happiness that brought him. They do activities they helps keep their minds sharp. They are planning a party for my Dad turning 100.

Our family had an in person tour and it had a really nice upbeat feel to it, it seemed like a really active environment we saw a lot of staff and residents engaging with each other. It is also more fancy then other communities we checked out.

We had a good experience overall. It was a nice and friendly place. The admissions process was easy. They were able to take us on short notice, and everything went smoothly. They were not always as attentive to incontinence issues as I would have liked, but the care was still really good.

I toured Oak Hill Terrace and used to have clients here, I really like it! there's always lots of things going on. I chose another community because I'm younger than their average resident age, we didn't think it would be a good fit for me.

Our family had an in person tour and our favorite part of the community was the lady giving us the tour. She was so thoughtful and amazing. She gave us such good insight, she was compassionate and caring.

We chose Brookdale McMinnville because mom felt the most comfortable here from the get go. She feels like it is home and she really likes the other residents and has found some things that she loves to do. The location is great, it is in a safe neighborhood so she is able to walk around. She also loves her apartment, it faces the way she wanted and gets a lot of natural light. They re-did the apartment before she moved in so it felt brand new. The shower is a walk in and the bathroom is a great size. The living space is great as well. They are having some issues with staff turnover which is why the food got a lower score, but that is temporary. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

My loved one really likes this community. He has met many other residents who were in independent living and moved here and they are very happy about being here at this community. My loved one was hesitant at first but it all went well. We had to order everything on amazon for his apartment and they went in and helped him set up everything and they went above and beyond to make sure that my loved one had everything that he needed.

Requested food sent to my loved ones room due to mobility issues. She got breakfast but not lunch and dinner. Top notch place, the dining staff needs help. I can't seem to get ahold of anyone. I keep getting recordings. The rest of the staff from the front desk to activities are top notch. I think it's great.
