The CNAs, the nurses are fabulous, cleanliness is very good. My only complaint was the day of check in. No one was there to great us, no one was there to ask questions about my dad's dementia and to get a feel for my dad's needs.

What influenced my score is the staff shortage. What made my experience positive is it's clean, attentive with good meals.

Very excellent setup and pricing. I was disappointed that there were not the promised male aides to help with my younger-onset Alzheimer's care. He was too strong to be left under the care of an elderly aide.

Apartments are a decent size, staff is friendly, food is about what you'd expect. The main thing is there doesn't seem to be much in the way of maintenance. I have put several requests to fix loose siding on the building and also to do something about birds getting in the attic, with feathers accumulating in vents.

Everyone there is very nice. The only thing I think they could work on is trying to get people more involved in the things going on. I would say the staff have been very nice and helpful to my mother. I would highly recommend Baywinde for anyone looking for a place for a loved one.

The staff are very helpful and nice. Room bathrooms could be cleaned better but are relatively clean. Lot's of "accidents" occur in the common area that lead to urine smell. Dining room furniture is a little worn but still nice. Food can be somewhat bland. Probably due to sodium restrictions.

I toured a two bedroom apartment. It was smaller than I wanted but it was nice. I did not tour the dining room or any other rooms. I would want to see those before I made a decision.

There are occasions when the meals are a bit skimpy, but we stocked my mother's refrigerator with salads and cheese and cabinets have crackers and dry snacks. Rooms are cleaned regularly, staff is WONDERFUL and make sure everyone is invited personally to the many activities offered daily. My mother's outlook in general has improved, along with her physical health, since she has been there. We are all very pleased with how the move has worked out.

Some time until staff on some shift. Need to get some patient more involved with activities, ones that are more able to participate in activities.

My guide, Dawn, has been doing these tours for years and did a wonderful job. I can't fault her for my inability to process all the info. The packet of info at the end of the tour could have been a better help in reflecting more of the features of Baywinde. Nonetheless, it was a very enjoyable experience for me. Thank you.

Mom was there for about 5 months. They took pride in cleanliness. Mom's room was cleaned daily and so was the facility itself. It took a while to get used to ordering Mom's meals weekly but eventually we got the hang of it. Food always seemed good. Staff was usually attentive but due to her being in a memory care unit. Sometimes she wasn't the only one who needed help. Mom was on many medications and it was a struggle at times for them to keep everything straight. Such as renewing medication when it ran out. The outside Nursing was Ennoble Care and Bayada they did provide PT and OT and communication was usually very good. When it was time for mom to be on hospice we chose Ennoble care since they had already been taking care of her and that worked out very well. The last 3 nights Mom was alive I stayed overnight and did get to see what goes on overnight and some of the nurses I'd never met before were phenomenal on taking care of Mom at the end. Also I received a refund check from them due to them prorating her room for the month of February 2026. It was a nice surprise. We left a lot of Mom's things for the facility to use for other residents and they also donate some things also.

They treat the residents with care & compassion which is very reassuring to me. Also they keep in touch with me & let me know how my sister is doing. That was not the case with the previous facility she was in.

I think the one on one care could be improved, when they only change bedding every couple of weeks to me is unacceptable. Also the meal aren't the best. With what the people pay they should have good quality meals, laundry and cleaning done weekly. They have given some of her clothes to someone else , because she has things missing. There is always room for improvement. Overall the facility is wonderful. If you need anything else let me know!

This facility has its faults like all the others. None are perfect.

My mother is Jewish and they support that. Also, she has a friend that lives there from high school. I do recommend The Lincolnwood place. They do a great job. My mother is extremely happy and that's what matters most.

The food is not as good since the buyout I'm told. But it's still a nice place and my parents enjoy living there.

Representative was friendly, knowledgeable and provided an informative tour of the facilities. We left feeling she addressed all of our questions and gave us information we did not know enough to ask for--an outstanding experience.

The staff is great. Helpful, accommodating. Great people! My Mother's apartment is the smallest available, about 500 sq ft. And it's fine and well appointed. So I can't see why most people wouldn't enjoy the accommodations. They have 1&2 bedrooms which are very spacious.

Great and friendly staff. When Gretchen moved in they had an ambassador who helped show her around - very friendly and helpful. Facility is clean and comfortable and the hallways have nice light filled areas for socializing. Seeing a doctor onsite is a great benefit. The food seems generally good. The price is moderately high for the area, but overall it reflects high quality of service. They could do a little better job communicating about resident perks like transit to doctors, etc.
