Staff is great. Everything mostly is wonderful. Room sizes are adequate. Food is good. They treat Mom well. No complaints

The administration and staff were top notch. The choice of a daily menu and the willingness to cook things off menu was more than accommodating. My mother having the opportunity to play dominoes like her regular routine at home was encouraging to know. As, I spoke to my mother each day her quote of the day was, "Everybody always asking me if I need something". The room accommodations were beyond my expectations.

Dealing with the director's at Park Place was a very pleasant experience. They were very caring and attentive to my needs. My mom was the one that stayed in Park Place and she is not a pleasant patient to contend with. They all had a lot of patients with her as she is a very difficult person. Their rates were fair. The rooms were a nice size. I'm not really sure about the food as my mom refuse to eat while she was there. They did try to accommodate her by ordering out but that didn't help much either. The staff that I meant were pleasant but like all the other places I felt they were a little short staffed. Overall Park Place was a nice place. I believe they were in the middle of enhancing their facility as they had all new people working there. Out of all the places my family has been through, I would choose Park Place again.

The facility was very inviting and had interesting activities. Talking with the chef, it was nice to find out that the meals were cooked fresh, not prepackaged. The only complaint we had was they did not seem to be expecting us, and the employee who hosted us was not able to answer all of our questions. However she apologized, and did suggest we call and speak to the director the next day. To be fair, we toured on a holiday.

Two bedroom apartments were nice with a good kitchen. Come with washer/dryer and garage that you enter from across the hall. Apartments are called "patio homes" but are all entered from a long sprawling hallway. We needed to take two elevators and three halls to get from the residence we visited to the dining area. Apparently, some residents drive around to the front of the building to get to meals. Meals are limited: a continental breakfast and one other meal served 11:00-6:00 that consisted of mostly hambergers, hotdogs, sandwiches, and salads with a different hot entree each day.

It seems to be a very likable space. I was set back by the just two meals a day from the Seasons (and breakfast isn't one of the two). Guess it is perhaps for more active seniors or those who appreciate their own cooking. Overall, it seemed very nice.

The experience, cleanliness, friendliness has been awesome. The quality of care hasn't been all too good as we had some issues with her medication so I am self administering it myself now. Her showers haven't been consistent as they've skipped several days saying that it wasn't on their schedule when it was. I've also continually asked them to bathe her by 730 cuz she goes to bed at 8 and there have been times when they've come in as late as 9-9:30. The admin staff have billed her incorrectly on the two statements of which I received. I can't comment on the activities as my mom is blind and extremely hard of hearing so she is unable to participate. She says that the food is mediocre.

My Mom is super happy there and she says the food is just fine. She has a full kitchenette so she can prepare things for herself if she doesn't feel like going to the dining room. There is a grocery store and a Walmart within a half mile and she has a car but if she doesn't feel like driving there is a shuttle bus. Her Dr's office is also within a half mile too.

The sales person was lively, attentive, informed, and always available, even on her days off. The rest of the staff was equally warm and helpful. They can hardly have any more activities than our presently offered. The food is superb with only occasional blips which one would expect occasionally. Everything was preferably clean and the two bedroom apartment was adequately large including a washer dryer. The only possible negative would be that in some places we looked at a two bedroom apartment also had two baths.

Overall, we really like this assisted living community. It is a medium-sized community—not too small and not too large—which provides a nice balance for socializing and activities. My mom absolutely loves the activities director and really enjoys participating in the activities. The caregivers and staff are incredibly kind and attentive. They have helped my mom meet people and understand the routines in the dining room, which has been very important for her. The apartment size is great, and the housekeeping and laundry services have been excellent. The food has a good variety, and we especially appreciate that many of the staple meals are prepared from scratch. I do wish they offered more variety of grab-and-go snacks. The cost is higher than some of the other assisted living communities we considered. However, given our concerns about the recent news regarding lack of oversight in assisted living facilities in New Mexico, my siblings and I feel that paying more is worthwhile for a place with caring, attentive caregivers and staff. For us, the quality of care and the kindness of the people who care for Mom are the most important things.

The CNAs, the nurses are fabulous, cleanliness is very good. My only complaint was the day of check in. No one was there to great us, no one was there to ask questions about my dad's dementia and to get a feel for my dad's needs.

What influenced my score is the staff shortage. What made my experience positive is it's clean, attentive with good meals.

Very excellent setup and pricing. I was disappointed that there were not the promised male aides to help with my younger-onset Alzheimer's care. He was too strong to be left under the care of an elderly aide.

Apartments are a decent size, staff is friendly, food is about what you'd expect. The main thing is there doesn't seem to be much in the way of maintenance. I have put several requests to fix loose siding on the building and also to do something about birds getting in the attic, with feathers accumulating in vents.

Everyone there is very nice. The only thing I think they could work on is trying to get people more involved in the things going on. I would say the staff have been very nice and helpful to my mother. I would highly recommend Baywinde for anyone looking for a place for a loved one.

The staff are very helpful and nice. Room bathrooms could be cleaned better but are relatively clean. Lot's of "accidents" occur in the common area that lead to urine smell. Dining room furniture is a little worn but still nice. Food can be somewhat bland. Probably due to sodium restrictions.

I toured a two bedroom apartment. It was smaller than I wanted but it was nice. I did not tour the dining room or any other rooms. I would want to see those before I made a decision.

There are occasions when the meals are a bit skimpy, but we stocked my mother's refrigerator with salads and cheese and cabinets have crackers and dry snacks. Rooms are cleaned regularly, staff is WONDERFUL and make sure everyone is invited personally to the many activities offered daily. My mother's outlook in general has improved, along with her physical health, since she has been there. We are all very pleased with how the move has worked out.

Some time until staff on some shift. Need to get some patient more involved with activities, ones that are more able to participate in activities.
