It's a wonderful facility. I'd like living there if the need arises. Yes I would recommend Meadowbrook to other families based on the experience so far.

My father had 3 respite stays with Addington. The staff was soo friendly and helpful with every stay. The respite room was very spacious, clean and perfect! Staff accommodated his needs and we as responsible family felt confident that he was safe and well cared for!

I can tell you things they should be concerned about. Food is not the best quality, constantly serving meals that consist of chicken. There's been times that the fryers and ovens have been down. I feel that meals are very important to the seniors and should be a priority. Right now a lot of the residents are not happy with the food they are getting. They need to get good meals for proper nutrition way they get the proper nutrition. Both elevators in the facility continue to break down. I believe there should be an improved process in maintaining the elevators.

I would rate all 4 because there is always room for improvement. Everyone was so helpful. We would absolutely 100% recommend The Sheridan at Tyler Creek to other families based on the experience so far.

I would say that a rating of 4-5 for all categories would be appropriate. . I really was impressed with how helpful a place for mom was, and how friendly and accommodating Courtyard Fountains was also. Mom is very satisfied and content in her new place and we are so glad she is in a safe and friendly environment.

The only negative is that there has been turnover in the staff. The food is great. My Dad does not participate in activities so I can't comment on those. The care team has been great.

The staff is typically very responsive and helpful. Think they could sometimes do more to try to engage my Mom in activities- would also like more proactive communication and updates on the status of her. Overall we are happy with the care provided and the environment which is clean, bright and welcoming.

People/staff generally wonderful. Food pretty good, tons of activities and residents involvement good. If you r on the assisted living floor (5), u need to be proactive in taking advantage of people and activities in the rest of the building. Nursing staff all working hard and very caring but it can take effort to assure communication lines are clear and consistent. On a side note, based on past experience at another facility I am anxious about the impact the new building management will have.

It's small things. The activities are nice enough, but don't really cater well to my mother's interests. So they're great for who they're targeted at, but they don't work for a lot of folks. Also, I know the elevator and dining room issues (overcrowding, so it takes FOR. EVER.) are things they're working on. But they're really diminishing the quality of life there. Having elevator operators during the meal rushes has been helpful, but it doesn't always happen. And they need a better work order system to streamline the process. Those guys are so overworked, and it feels as though some better workflow management would help them out tremendously

There is no in house cable TV. You have to use go thru apps or xfinity. The staff was caring of the residents. The food is adequate. The staff will remind and prompt for activities and meals. They took good care of him

They're very responsive and upfront with everything. I do find however that like any business they are charging for everything, every little thing. Some of which I took issue with. But we were able to work out an arrangement that worked for us both. So they've been very accommodating.

It's been positive for the most part, though not perfect. I would have liked for A Place for Mom to provide more information about the facilities they were referring us to and to assist more with the whole intake process, which was pretty involved.

I like that there is always someone you can call to help you with whatever you need, for example if you fall or if you need someone who will you, since I'm in a wheelchair, to whatever you want to do. I also like that there are other people around that you can talk to, other residents and almost everyone is very friendly and kind for improvement. I think they could have more fruits and vegetables in the meals.

The staff are friendly and attentive to medical and comfort needs. The place is clean with classy decor. Most of the head staff were brought in from other cities so went home on the weekends which made it feel deserted Fridays-Mondays. We needed diabetic care which took some educating of the staff re: food and meds. Most of the residents are not ambulatory and very reclusive. We are moving to a younger populated place.

Staff are attentive and delightful. Activities need a little more to them and could be better marketed. Private dining room is lovely. Apartment units are older and could use some updating and refreshing.

Experience has been hit or miss. Great interactions in person. Very attentive to care for my family member. Hard to reach via phone for updates and or questions. Overall resident housekeeping is less than expected. Not dirty but not as clean as one would expect.

Elevators are old, slow. Once I observed traffic flow I'm ok with it. Yes, we would recommend The Breakers at Edgewater Beach to other families based on the experience so far.

Food could be better for sure. Seen a few and this is nice place.

I chose The Breakers for several reasons. The first is how flexible their lifestyle options are which leads to a great mix of interesting residents. There are 400 rooms here which is much bigger than the other places I looked at and the energy here is great. There are lots of activities and amenities for everyone. The Breakers is an especially good fit for me because it is an independent living community, but they offer all the services for assisted living, just on an à la carte basis, so its personalized to meet my specific needs. My family appreciates the daily check-ins, the emergency pull cords in every room, and the weekly maid service where they clean and sanitize the bathroom and kitchen in case I get lazy about housekeeping. The Breakers was not only highly rated, but also had one of the most reasonable prices for what I was looking for one of the standouts for me was the location on Lake Michigan it's beautiful here and in a fantastic location just north of downtown Chicago. My family in Chicago love to come visit me and they offer guest rooms for out of town guests at a reasonable price. The building is a little older which gives it character, but they're renovating rooms, it's clean and the food is good. ?? The only reason I didn't give a 5/5 is because the elevators are slow so everything takes a little longer here.

Acclaim EB community is clean & comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food is on the high side of mediocracy. We find the residents are warm and friendly. [name removed] is finding the transition to be difficult. From what little I know, this is normal for her stage of Alzheimer's. The staff has been kind and helpful to us.
