The director was very good but that's further away from our house than we would like it to be. The director was very nice and got back with us right away. I can't remember his name but he was great. Besides the location it would have been a good option for us. They were friendly and the community was clean. It was good.

I'ts a wonderful place, we are just thrilled with it. They have undergone a massive renovation anf, of course, dealing with the elderly, that has been confusing and disruptive. They were bough out by a large company, and the renovations are wonderful. They're remodling the dining room, they're one floor for assited living, previously two floors were assisted, and the moved another floor up to what I hear is much nicer apartments. They're hoping to have it all done by Christmas. The attendants are wonderful, they've all been there 10 plus years, they check on her constantly, she goes to every one of the activities, they've fixed everything in the apartment we could think of, and it was just little things. I can't say enough nice things about it. We had just dropped in before and mother didn't like it, but when A Place for Mom reminded us of what a great palce it was, we shceduled a tour and they did the full court press. They greated us by name, the food was wonderful and we just new it was the right palce. They sent mother flowers to her condominium and gave her warm cookies. They've got a new chef so the jury is still out on him. The first chef had a full, hard backed menu with 16 entree choices and on and on. We had rib eye steak the night we toured. They have a residence council and from every floor the have a resident on the food committee and the care committee, they're really striving to make everyone happy. The only thing that would be slight detrimental is just that there's been a lot of confusion with th erenovation but the end result will be amazing, I just keep telling momma to keep her eye on the prize.

It was good. They didn't have as many activities as another one we were looking at and the room was smaller. It had a kitchenette instead of a full kitchen.

I arranged for my father to move there when he decided he didn't want to live alone any longer. All of the staff are very friendly. We shared meals with my Dad in their dining room and the food was quite good. The residents seemed happy and were out and about at all of the times we visited.

I looked at all the smaller communities in town and they were very depressing, run down homes that were not very well maintained. The Woodmark was a complete turn around. It was warm and welcoming and the building was very well maintained.

They treat the residents with care & compassion which is very reassuring to me. Also they keep in touch with me & let me know how my sister is doing. That was not the case with the previous facility she was in.

I think the one on one care could be improved, when they only change bedding every couple of weeks to me is unacceptable. Also the meal aren't the best. With what the people pay they should have good quality meals, laundry and cleaning done weekly. They have given some of her clothes to someone else , because she has things missing. There is always room for improvement. Overall the facility is wonderful. If you need anything else let me know!

This facility has its faults like all the others. None are perfect.

My mother is Jewish and they support that. Also, she has a friend that lives there from high school. I do recommend The Lincolnwood place. They do a great job. My mother is extremely happy and that's what matters most.

The food is not as good since the buyout I'm told. But it's still a nice place and my parents enjoy living there.

Representative was friendly, knowledgeable and provided an informative tour of the facilities. We left feeling she addressed all of our questions and gave us information we did not know enough to ask for--an outstanding experience.

The staff is great. Helpful, accommodating. Great people! My Mother's apartment is the smallest available, about 500 sq ft. And it's fine and well appointed. So I can't see why most people wouldn't enjoy the accommodations. They have 1&2 bedrooms which are very spacious.

Great and friendly staff. When Gretchen moved in they had an ambassador who helped show her around - very friendly and helpful. Facility is clean and comfortable and the hallways have nice light filled areas for socializing. Seeing a doctor onsite is a great benefit. The food seems generally good. The price is moderately high for the area, but overall it reflects high quality of service. They could do a little better job communicating about resident perks like transit to doctors, etc.

The staff is dedicated to caring for their residents. Rooms are spacious, amenities are good and they provide many activities from which to choose.

The activity director is amazing! He creates great outings and events for the community. There seems to be a turnover for the rest of the staff. The staff they do have are caring and kind to the memory care community.

The facility is beautifully constructed and the staff warm and welcoming. My tour of the memory unit was enlightening. The rooms were constructed for only the necessities. The room that I visited had a camera system of some sort which was a nice touch for 24 hour observation.

Always room for improvement, need more weekend staff. Everyone is friendly and caring. Don’t always get returned calls from management after leaving voicemail.

We loved the apartment size and amenities. [name removed] did a great job with the tour. We decided to go to a different facility where I could attend more events and activities without going outside. At Addington Place that was not available and is pretty crucial in Michigan winters. Even with the Move-In discount it was more expensive. And the upcharge for a second person caught us by surprise when we were obviously a couple.

I chose this facility mainly because it is close to family. They really lack in maintenance staff and requests take a long time to fulfill.
