Some individual caregivers would get a 5+ but overall the staff (caregivers, food service, front desk, nursing, cleaning crew) was respectful of residents and their families, treating the residents with compassion. The staff recommended hospice when the time was right (before we even thought about it as an option). And the hospice staff and Addington staff worked seamlessly together, which made an incredibly positive difference for both my mom and us. Nobody really talks about what the very end looks like, how hospice can be incorporated into the overall care plan. We appreciated the addington staffs knowledge and were blown away by how many staff stopped in the last couple of days of my moms life, to say good bye and even thanking her for being a light in their days. we have only positive feelings toward that facility.

The entire staff is extremely caring and clearly love what they do. That is very clear. What stood out to me the most was that there was a medical facility within the premises and that she did not have to leave the facility to see a doctor unless of course of an emergency. They provide housekeeping once a week, but I've noticed that they are doing it more often for mom. I always try to help out to when I'm there. As a whole the building is very clean, all of the areas. There's been a few hiccups but for the most part it's going smoother than I expected so I cannot complain. I would absolutely recommend this place to any of our friends or family.

Everyone at The Woodmark is very friendly and the staff acknowledge all the different residents - they know what they are up to during the day and they know all of their names. Overall we have been happy with this community and would recommend them to other families. The food is not bad, it is not gourmet but if our loved one wants seconds the staff are more then happy to bring him more food. We do think they could benefit from having some sort of boarding process or an buddy team to welcome the new residents and show them around the community.

The Sheridan at Park Ridge was a little further from my home, but I liked it. It seemed nice, and comparable with where she is now.

Lincolnwood place has been wonderful, Mom has a form of dementia that has physical effects as well. While she started off in independent living, it became clear that she needs assisted living and has been getting the extended care that she needs. If there is an issue, someone from LWP calls me and lets me know.

This is a safe and good community. The staff are good at taking care of the residents. My loved one doesn't care for the food and the community are serving three meals a day to the residents. There are choices for meals that the residents can choose from. The staff communication is good with the family.

Our family had an in person tour and right away it was just not the right place for our mother

This community was very nice and cute but i did not go with this community because they did not have a nurse on staff and this was something that I wanted for my loved one.

This community was nice and was in the line for one I really wanted for my loved one. However, my loved one went with another community that she felt worked better. From the expenses to what all was offered even down to the decor there was just another community that stuck out more.

we toured this community and found it very nice. it was actually our second choice. it had a hotel type of feel, as in it was very big. while spring hills did offer religious services, it was not for the practice of my loved ones preference. we chose another community because this one was also further away from family.

Its definitely a good place with a nice, friendly atmosphere. The staff is great. The amenities are good. It's kind of pricey, but the service is good.

the community is very responsive and the communication is very good. They also look for solutions and are proactive. If there is an issue they fix it and do a great job. The community is one floor so it's great for walking. I would recommend this community to others

We toured this community and the tour was very nice. The community was very neat and clean, and the staff was very friendly. They offer the option to room with another resident and this brings the price down.

It is pricey, but if you have the money it's well worth it. The room was excellent, very beautiful. They had staff there all the time, and my loved one was constantly seeing the staff even when she couldn't see the residents. The staff were always letting me know if she needed anything - cat food, Boost, etc. The smell from the kitchen was absolutely wonderful. It made me want to eat there. The location is great, easy to get to. There are nice views from the rooms, and the grounds outside seemed very nice. During Covid, they did everything they could to keep people safe, for instance meals served in the rooms. They went above and beyond to make my loved one comfortable. They're offering a lot of activities, including presentations on different countries, exercise groups, and even one-on one exercise instruction during Covid. There's a memory care group for activities at an additional fee. Overall I was very satisfied, and I would recommend as long as it's within your financial range.

I would recommend this community. The community has hired a full time activities director for the memory care floor. There are computer games for recognition, personal care like manicures, field trips, arts and crafts, and prior to COVID they would stop and get ice cream. The food is really good. The room is spacious for my loved one.

My parents are happy with Barrington of Oakley. The food is so-so, not much of a variety. Not much of a view. Staff has been great. They are doing a good job with communication with my brother and I during the quarantine. I have been impressed with the head nurse, she has been really helpful and positive. My dad was really happy with the activities before the quarantine.

Came from nursing home to my own apartment. Management works with me to do what is best for my brother and the "tough love" he needed has worked very well. It is too bad everyone could not have this living arrangement.

( It is difficult for me to type because I have no feelings in my hands or fingers, I'm so sorry) I believe, from my experience, Meadowbrook is a great place for a loved one or relative to stay. My perception is positive in regards to cleanliness, friendliness, services, care, and activities--and also the food! All very good!
