This community looked clean when we toured it. It did seem like a darker setting. This community offers assisted living and memory care. We were looking for independent living. I would recommend taking a look at this community to see if it would be right for your loved one.

On my visit to the community , I found they were too expensive. Once we had a meeting and when I got the price, there was no need to tour. They were upfront and professional. They were fine when having the meeting.

The staff are always helpful, they try to meet your needs. There are a lot of smiles and laughter! The facility is well lighted, clean, bright, inviting. Dining area has the tables set with table cloths, stemware glasses, and flowers at all meals. Entertainers come in on the weekend to perform. Some problem with food shortages. My mom and sister are adjusting nicely. Thank you, [Removed].

My mom is struggling to adjust but it is nice community. The staff are willing to make her feel comfortable and they accommodate her with what is helpful. The meals are really well prepared from what I seen during lunch. The plan one big activity a week and have celebration for holidays. For St. Patrick's Day they had Irish dancers perform for the residents.

They offer different levels of care at this community. The staff I met were nice and the community seemed clean. It did not seem like there was a lot of interaction between the staff and residents. They have a smaller memory care unit and unfortunately, the layout of the community would not work for mom. This is a nice community and I would say to take a look at it.

The Sheridan at Tyler Creek was a very nice community to tour, but it was almost too new. Also, the dementia unit is on the third floor, and they have no outdoor space. It was also a bit on the pricey side.

This community was the only one in the area that gave my loved one the chance to live in assisted living instead of memory care. The staff are busy, however they have taken the time to talk with us. I would like a little more feedback on how she is doing on a daily basis. She likes the deserts and the food is ok. They have some variety of food choices. I don't think they are engaging her as much as we would like. They do have a beauty shop on site.

This is a good community and I am thankful to A Place for Mom for giving us a lot of options to choose from. She seems to like the food and there is a beautiful dining room. There are a lot of different activities offered such as church and movie nights. I would recommend this community.

My Mother was at Mangrove Bay for 4 1/2 years. The director and staff were very caring to my Mother. Any time a matter came up, the director always took time to visit with me. I am truly grateful to Jinah and her staff for sharing care to my Mother. Mangrove Bay is a beautiful facility, and I would recommend it.

As a seasoned veteran in healthcare communities, (due to my father) . I find Bayshore to be exactly what we needed. I was incredibly impressed by the care staff and clinicians, as well as the care of my father. Our family is so greatful for the amazing variety of fresh produce, fruits and choices in menu. I absolutely Cannot Thank the kitchen staff enough.Our special THANKS to Valerie, she herself sees to it everyday that the residents are well fed and Happy. Our family is thrilled with our experience. Again THANK You!!!!

Most of the people there at Meadowbrook of Agoura Hills are very good. The food is fair. Sometimes it is great, but usually just fair. While most of the staff is very understanding and considerate, but there is one staff member that has been a little rude to me on a couple of occasions and that can definitely impact my outlook on the place.

My mother is living at Woodbourne Place. Overall, I think it's the right match for her. She receives 3 wholesome meals a day. Medicine is carefully taken care of. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only things that should be improved on is the cleaning of apartments and following through on listed activities. There needs to be more activities for the residents. I give it a rating of fair to good. Thank you.

My family looked at several places for Mom. One reason we chose Baywinde is because they allowed Mom to bring her cat. This was very important to her. We also liked the special memory care area. There are a lot of different activities so Mom was busy throughout the day, not just sitting in her room watching t.v. The meals are nutritious and delicious. We feel good knowing She is safe and happy.

When I approached Spring Hills about placing my Mom who had a stroke that left Her right side immobile and unable to speak. Throughout the interview process I received nothing but assurance that they could hanfke Mom in her condition and was lead to believe that the assigned level of care(highest) she would receive would address all of her needs. This was sadly misleading. While there is no doubt in my mind the staff cares for the residents their failure to consistently deliver has left me disappointed. I am paying extra for the personal care I was lead to believe was included ( this place is lovely but very expensive to begin with) in monthly fees. With better communication, staffing and practices this place could be great. At present its good and considering it was the best of all I've seen Mom will stay for now.

I wish the assisted living in room monitors didn't act as the PA system. It's confusing to my mother. The nurses make announcements asking another nurse to "declare their location" or basically, where are you? What room are you in providing care.....what resident are you with.....that kind of an announcement and my mom is very confused by that kind of noise. When she is in her room this apparently goes on throughout the day. The announcements about lunch and general activities are great but the facility needs to find a better way to allow staff to "page" each other without disturbing residents.

They seem to be doing a pretty good job. It's kept pretty clean, no concerns there. They are a little understaffed on the weekends though. I haven't had any complaints about the food so far. Overall they are doing a good job.

Clean, very attractive surroundings - nice common areas & dining room, individual studio or 1 bedroom apartments provide comfortable privacy when desired. Well-kept outdoor courtyard & front porch. Caring friendly staff with varying levels of care to suit wide range of residents. Activities daily, encouraging residents to be active. Nice social time at meals. Costly, but you get what you pay for.

There are some of the staff that are great, but there are a few that are pretty rude, and we have had a few problems with them more than once. The sales staff and the head nurse are quick to respond to an email, but accuracy can be an issue we have had some medication errors, that were caught first by my loved one. They have a great calendar of events, but there could be some more stimulating options. They do not manage the food very well, it's nice that they have a little log book for requests. I think just following through and being consistent would be helpful. We liked that they were a newer facility, and beautifully decorated, and they designed the building with memory care in mind. It's nice that it's a flat rate where it's all included.

Overall, good. My sister has been there a little over a month and is "settling in". The staff is kind, and happy. They are open to suggestions. My only wish would be that they try to engage her more in more activities. They offer, she says "No thank you" and that seems to be the end of their efforts. I know they can't force her to do things but I am concerned that she spends too much of her day isolated in her room. She has been a very gregarious person most of her life and it is sad to see her this way.

It didn't seem like there was anybody there. It seemed more like a resort, than a community. I couldn't get a sense of how it really was, it felt staged. It seemed like there were actors as opposed to people living there. People seemed like they were dancing in the halls and I just thought there is no way that is what living here is like.
