Clinical staff is completely incompetent. If you have a loved one that can not advocate for themselves, I would strongly reconsider. I give this facility zero stars.

This place is suppose to serve three balanced meals. The food is bad, bad, bad. Tiny servings and if you want to be malnourished go there. Complaints have been made to the director with no avail. Corporate office, well, you can not find there phone number. These people are suffering, please if someone is reading this that can help please do so. I consider this an emergency.

We had a TV stolen while my mom was there. Management was absolutely NO help.

Run away as fast as you can. They will say anything to get you in. And once in watch out. During the lockdown I was told the help was coming in and visiting the residents. Asked my father and said would just drop off food and leave. My father called for help once because he wasn’t able to get out of bed. The aid came looked at him told him it wasn’t his job and left. I had to hire a private CNA to go in and check on my father because I wasn’t allowed in. When she brought my dad out informed me room was filled with dirty dishes, bed unmade and stunk. Upon examining my father we realized he had taken a terrible fall and called an ambulance. He never went back.

This has been an experience!! Not at all what is advertised. Problems left and right. If you are able to stay with your loved one daily or all day! That would be best! Speaking from the memory care side! 2 and 3 people to take care of 12-15 residents, makes no sense! No cleaning in rooms being done, no help eating, just place a plate in front of them. No one knows cpr or how to help a choking resident. No one comes when pulling the help cord in the rooms. Please be aware and watchful of your loved ones if choosing this facility.

After having my mom @ Heritage Place in Burleson for over a year, there were at least 4-5 different directors, 4-5 different chefs and countless other sales reps. (Massive admin turnovers...bad sign). The food was CONSISTENTLY TERRIBLE and we were spending ave $200 month on food ourselves. Workers there were superb (and very under staffed), but management was HORRIBLE. Never enough help in the dining room and always a very FRUSTRATING experience trying to get lunches. A $1500 non refundable deposit to cover all redo's when for when we vacated...then they are withholding $200 fee from our monthly refund to cover clean up on the apt...(which was left in pristine condition), Plus not paying us for the 4 days of refund due us. Some of the management rules were terribly absurd and kept changing with each director. I WOULD NOT...REPEAT... NOT GO HERE. We also have other relatives there and trying to get out also.

At first (March 2019) I would have given 5 stars. Today I am really irritated with this place The food is really good here but the care staff has not a clue what the left or right hand are doing!

We had our parents there for over 3 years with the last year costing over $108,000. We had to move them to a higher level care in January 2019. The Brennity agreed to stop charging as we turned the rooms in January. They continued to auto debit out of their accounts in February. They agreed to refund February for both our parents and never did. On top of it never returned even one phone call, then mom passed in February and this overcharge issue is still not resolved. This is a $10,000 overcharge that was never refunded as agreed. So after spending over $300,000 over the last 3+ years, we cannot even get a return phone call.

Our mother was here in their Memory Care facility from [dates removed] 2018 and we did not have a good experience here. Beware. The management cares more about the bottom line than for the care of the residents. They do not have care and activities tailored around the resident's individual needs and preferences, but instead they have blanket rules for everyone, regardless of their capabilities. They took away my mother's independence that she could safely have, affecting her dignity and self worth. New policies were initiated WITHOUT notification, causing extreme distress to my mother. When concerns were brought to their attention, the general manager was patronizing. There were several times when we believe we were told untrue things, including they said policy changes were due to state law, when they were just facility policy changes. This was verified with a state agency that it was not state law. A reassessment appears to be partly fabricated. And a final bill was mailed and they were dishonest in saying a bill had been previously provided when it had not been. They attempted no good faith efforts whatsoever. In addition, promises were made prior to move-in that were not fulfilled. I personally overheard how my mother was treated when I was on the phone with her and the tone and manner is which the staff member spoke to my mother was indefensible. There was a definite lack of communication, and primarily they were non-responsive and ignored me.

I have been at Landon Ridge Assisted Living since September 28, 2018 and am having to move due to non-service and food. I would like you to know what I have been dealing with all these months and have reported verbally and had management come to my room to find out what has happened. Nothing has been done about these complaints. 1. Not enough staff and the staff you have is rude and uncaring. They make you feel they are doing you a favor. 2. Staff comes into my room and take drinks from the refrigerator. I’m paying for these 3. Elevators and front doors do not work 4. Television cannot get reception due to your Wi-Fi problems 5. Baths not given when requested – they wake me up at 10:00pm to give me a bath 6. Medications not given when due – on 2/12/19 PM meds were not given. 7. Medication test was to be given on Monday, 2/11/19. Still have not received 8. Laundry not returned and staff cannot locate (designer towels from Neiman Marcus with initials) 9. Food is horrific. I have not been down to the dining room in weeks. Some days I don’t eat at all unless my family brings me food. 10. Room not cleaned for 12 days 11. Competent residents cannot get information regarding their payments or any information 12. No activities on the weekends 13. Residents feel this company is out to get money and not give services. 14. Had a UTI test and culture and still have not received the results. Had to go to another doctor in Houston to have this taken care of. I will be moving out on the 18th of February. I have paid for services I was promised and not received.

They attempted to administer wrong medication several times. There were so many problems I don’t even know where to begin. But above all us, these people are heartless. Individuals without compassion have no business in healthcare! Not even a condolence after her passing. I would never recommend this place. And all state agencies will receive formal complaints in the near future.

Although it is a beautiful building the services are lacking. The memory care is nothing like they promote. Mismanagement of meds, inconsistency with activities and snacks, no reminders for the daily tasks that dementia patients need. I could go on but do your research and proceed with caution if you are searching for a memory care facility for your loved one. They deserve better than what Heartis can provide.

They require a 14 day notice before you decide to terminate your stay INCLUDING DEATH!!! So if your know the EXACT DATE your loved one will die, you can plan accordingly and save yourself a$1000-$2000 in PENALTIES for a untimely death!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Talk about insult to injury. This place has absolutely NO DECENCY and NO ETHICS to present a son who just lost his mother with an invoice for lack of notification of the 14 day window. IT"S A DEATH PENALTY what a terrible way to get one more payment. As a consolation we were told to READ YOUR CONTRACT. So I am passing this message along to everyone to not make the same mistake we did. While she was a tenant at Landon Ridge in Kingwood they had a management change due to excessive complaints that were supposed to have been remedied by a "new staff". This ended up being another miss in the performance department. Please look elsewhere for an ethical alternative. This place should not be on your list.

Worst Community Ever!! My family member was not taken care of at this community. The Director was pushy to get us to move in and promised a lot that was not delivered. The only plus was some of the caregivers who work there are compassionate and do a great job for very little pay. Others were rude and in it for a check. You have got to have a heart and passion for working in memory care otherwise do something else. There was an apparent lack of adequate training for the caregivers on communication skills, providing care and handling behaviors. My family member was often dirty and unkempt and her room a mess.

My mom moved from another community to Heartis in [date removed]. Mom needs daily reminders for all her daily physical needs. It has been 7 months and I've had four conversations with the executive director and the director of nursing and nothing has changed. The calendar showing the activities is a joke. I've taken Mom to an activity and no one shows up to oversee it. They have also left Mom at physical therapy two times. At that point is when I realized I would be moving my mom out as soon as possible. The employees that care for my mom are the sweetest. They have been very kind and loving.

Extremely disappointed in this place. We had such high expectations of our loved one getting healthy and stronger at this place !! Turned out to be the total opposite. Staff extremely lazy...... once they suck you innand sign on the dotted line.... your parent is just a number. ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY !!! They are NO DIFFERENT FROM OTHER FACILITIES YOU HEAR ABOUT. Beautiful place on the outside...... BUT YOUR FAMILY BETTER BE VERY HANDS ON AND STAY ON TOP OF WHATS GOING ON ....... boy we’re we fooled !!!! VERY LAZY NURSING STAFF !! Do not depend on them at all to care for your loved ones!!! TRULY SAD.......

If your parent(s) need any assistance, don't bother placing them at Andante. We had my father at this facility & we were constantly having to keep on top of the Staff. His room smelled urine since his clothes were piling up in his hamper, they should've had the courtesy to ask us would we like them to wash his clothes twice a week instead of once, instead allowed his room to smell. They gave us short notice before his meds were out with 2 pills remaining. He ran out of toilet paper & they would not give him a roll until the family dropped toilet paper off. The list goes on & on. Disgusted how this facility takes advantage of people's money. Don't bother!

This is the worse senior center I have ever seen!! Danagerest practices. They leave their residents at stores, doctors etc alone for hours and hours, some residents not able to be alone like this, panicking. When r they going to be picked up? Where do they wait to be picked up? What door did I come in? How do I pay for my items? These r some of the panicking questions they ask The activity director and/or assistant's job is to go with them to stores, events etc. If they could be alone in a big store, etc they wouldn't be in the nursing home. They r suppose to wear name badges, they do not. Sad
