I would not recommend at all. I have even applied to work there to help make changes. There activities are awful. They need some activities. For what we pay, there should be more things going on for residents. I have spoken with other family members and its the same consensus. It is bad. The food is not healthy food. It's all pre packaged food. My loved one doesn't like the food. They don't seem to be given the residents a better quality of life. This place act's like just provides a bed to sleep. I am really disappointed.

Overall everybody was very nice. Some were very helpful, but most of them really didn't know a lot about how things worked. I think the maintenance staff doesn't know a lot what they're doing. The sprinkler system froze, and pipes burst. It flooded my family member's apartment and a lot of other areas. We ended up moving her out because of that. She was there not quite a couple of months, and she's still having to pay for that last month that she wasn't even there. I felt like that could have been handled better. I know that it was probably a corporate decision, but I feel like they should not have charged her for that last month. I will say [name removed] and the staff in general were very, very nice for the most part. I just feel like the place needs to be updated, and they need to really train and inform their employees on how things work. For instance, they didn't even understand that they could help us make a transfer to another Holiday community. They told us it wasn't possible. So then we made it on our own to that new Holiday community, and they told us the transfer would have been no problem at all.

Mom was so excited at our tour and signed the next week. Paid the Community Fee, pet deposit and first month. Then Covid, understandably things changed. The residents were well protected from outside. Everything else suffered, from the kitchen to housekeeping to maintenance. Processed food raised her cholesterol, housekeeper is lacking and apartment, a year later, still had leaks. The rent was raised [percentage removed] for every resident. As of this January it was almost a [percentage removed] increase. The upper administration is not well suited to be involved with residents and never follows up with her own employees. I'm sad to say, it hasn't been quite as expected. All things considered.

They do not make any accommodations when it comes to the meals - they do not pay attention to those who have dietary restrictions or allergies. The community could also be more accommodating for the money.

I did not have the best tour experience with Lakeshore Estates. The person who was supposed to give me the tour was not able to give it, so the lady showing me around was rushed and not very organized. The facility itself is beautiful, big, and open, but my mom wanted something a little more comfortable and homey feeling.

I would suggest you investigate to make sure you know the turnover rate, and if they will meet your loved one's needs. It would be better if the community would make sure they keep the resident's rooms clean, as well as the entire community, and return phone calls to the families.

After my mother passed there was no communication to the other staff. I had employees calling me to set up appointments after she passed. There was a lack of responsiveness.

This was lowest on our list for the following reasons: 1. didn't seem as welcoming as other communities, 2. the sales director wasn't as engaged with the residents and staff, and 3. The staff wasn't as diverse as we wanted. The community is more than one story.

The community is clean, and the activities are opening back up. However the building is aging and when we had the big winter storm they were without water for three weeks, so the toilets were not able to flush. The heat could not keep up and the meals during the freeze were very limited. However, they do have a new general manger there now so we are hopefully everything will get better.

When we first moved in ,this was a beautiful southern mansion style facility. It’s been remodeled to look like a dentist office with no awareness of geriatric safety, tile floors for main areas very slippery in rain and a hard surface to for falls. They havehad 12 managers in 12 years! Corporate offices in Texas . Recently added recreational area which over 80’s could not use- anyone want to push a 4 foot chess piece? In the heat of florida with no shade coverings? No triage medical services- don’t be fooled by claims for on site nursing for Independant living. No small market for basics like milk. Expect at least 3% increases in rent every year. The remaining staff is great and trying very hard! Apartments are a nice size and include washer and dryers., but make sure the rug is replaced before you move in.

We experienced very poor management. They were confused and didn't seem to know simple things. Like they told us upfront they'd be cleaning the rooms one day a week, but they couldn't tell us which day that would be. So you felt like you could never depend on the services being delivered. They used another vendor called Angels of Mercy, for personal care. It felt like a hard sell. They strongly recommended that we use that in-house service. I won't say I got lied to, but it was nothing at all what we were told it would be. We had days where people never showed up to perform services they were supposed to. The last month that my loved ones were there at Rocky Ridge, I hired an outside company to do everything they needed. To be fair, if your needs are purely independent living, and you need no other assistance whatsoever, I think it would be a fine place. But if you need any assistance with activities of daily living, it's not the place to go in my opinion. Rocky Ridge built Angels of Mercy up to be something they were not. And they told us there would be a max cost, and that was that. But that was also not true. We had used their service, as opposed to hiring an individual, so there would be more reliability and there would always be somebody available for my loved one. And that did not happen. The caregivers would run late, or not show up, and they did not provide services in an appropriate manner. The food was not so great, and a lot of that could have been the times, with Covid. Meals were being delivered to the rooms when dining seating was limited. So the food was cold. Let me tell you, cold scrambled eggs and oatmeal is just bad. The menu you could select from ended up not meaning a whole heck of a lot. Again, to be fair to them, I know a lot of this was new to them due to the Covid issues going on. The staff and management were very friendly. I just think it goes back to the fact that one of my loved ones needed more help than they could provide in independent living. So that could have been a poor choice on my end, but I also believe it had to do with them selling me on the Angels of Mercy care.

When we walked in for our tour, it was very quiet. You would think that at 11 am, something would be going on, but it was like everybody was gone. My loved one is very social, and is the type that gets up and walks around. And it just didn’t look like they did anything here.

The community was not able to do activities during covid. Unfortunately the cleaning also. Communication was not the best and I felt like they did not keep me informed of what was going on. I would not recommend this community to others

Don't move here. The billing was a mess and we are still having issues with them and the billing. Communication is not good at first they were great with sending info and updates about the community and what they're about and then when you pay the deposit the communication stops. I would not recommend this community to others. Maintenance issues were not addressed quickly also. The food was horrible and we had to pay out of pocket to feed my loved one due to the food being so bad.

The community was clean and well taken care of, and the sales rep that we dealt with in the beginning was fantastic. However, they had a huge turnover rate with upper management the entire time our loved one was there. We know covid was a tricky situation but we feel they used that as a crutch to not engage and interact with the residents. They sold the place has assisted living and that it was great, but they really should be experience with memory care. Our loved one was found wondering through the nights, and another memory care patient wondered into our loved ones room multiple times. They raved about how delicious the food was, but the food was absolutely awful, they went through two chefs while our loved one was there.

I am thinking of taking my husband out. He has fallen and they do not know how he fell. The first time his medications were due for renewal, they waited until he ran out so they could use their pharmacy instead of VA> they did tell us they were gonna take him and drop him off at his appointments. They are very understaffed and when you talk to the director he says they are not understaffed. They have 1 nurse for the entire facility, that is for independent living, assisted living, and memory care. They have their doctor come in without any authorization and prescribe sedatives for memory care patients. Overall it has not been a very good experience.

Food is pretty good, and marketing presentation awesome. Return on investment is the metric that dominates. “Compassionate Care Is our Calling,” and Patient First” are not contracts or promises. They often raise rents and adjust expenses accordingly as vacant apartments upend profit planning. Bristol Park has had 2 executive directors and at least 4 "Interim Directors" during the last 16 months. Recognizing the level of assistance our family member needs, we agreed to pay a couple thousand dollars extra each month for the maximum level of care in addition to the regular apartment rent. Yet even the basic services like call buttons that sometimes go unanswered, and a fresh glass of water next to our family member is beyond expectations We constantly clean the dirty dishes in the sink, find an overflowing laundry basket, personal hygiene supplies disappearing in large numbers, bathroom unhealthy. After over a year of reality, we would not recommend Bristol Park to anyone.

The community is understaffed and does not appreciate their residence. I am not satisfied with this community and I would not recommend it to others.

I live in a very small room! I only drink water!

Before the quarantine times, I would have rated our home close to great. Our office staff as short as ours is now (as well as maintenance and housekeeping and service) the staff cannot keep up the same when it did before. We understand, but it is difficult, at least now.
