My frustration is that they don’t return phone calls. The food is very good. Make sure you get every promise in writing. The staff is pretty good and they are the best feature of this community.

We loved living here. Lots of intellectual activities and the buffet is a bonus. However, they increased our rent $3100 a year within one year for no additional services. They expect the tenants to haggle. We are sad to move.

The manager also has this complex and told us the prices were slightly higher so once again out of our price range.

Managed to lose my packet already. It was nice, new.. Lovely outside courts but the rooms are really small for the money and the calendar seemed to have a lot of Walmart shopping (right across the street) and I would have to look closer at amount of real trips, though there were some... It was sure expensive, as I recall and no deals at all.

This is a beautiful community and location; however, the rates are very high for the services provided.

Brennity's quality and services were amazing when I first looked into it. When I moved my parent into the facility, the care was excellent. I was contacted with every fall or medical concern. Over the last few months, the quality has gone downhill. My parent's blood pressure has gone from normal to high and we have not been contacted, has been left in a room so unbearably hot it felt like a sauna when I walked in. The request has been made for assistance with exercise and it has not been honored after repeated requests. The big selling point was the "excellent food" that could be made to order in the dining room. Today we were told that it's no longer made to order and that residents would need pre-order their "made to order" meals. What? When a parent is in assisted living, are they really able to plan what they want to eat for lunch when they are eating breakfast? It appears to us that Brennity is having some issues and for the cost, the level of service is extremely poor. They have been shuffling management and employees around and the ratio of employees to residents has gone down. I will be pulling my parent out of their assisted living facility. I could pay less for the level of care my parent is receiving.

Independent Living, but far.

Cost is $2,500-$2,800 for a one bedroom, seems a bit high. The Apts. have only kitchenettes and no internet service. Meals are served after everyone arrives. Our wait was over 1/2 hour.

Beautiful, new facility. We are hoping for improvements with caregivers, management, activities and food. They are aware of our concerns.

This is a location we toured when looking into options for a loved one. I was impressed by the staff here, they were very friendly and professional. The facility itself and the ground were beautiful. However, the atmosphere of the place was a bit off-putting. It had a very "nursing home" feel, and I did not think it would have been a good fit for my loved one.

The community has a high turnover, so we never know the people who are coming in, and they don't check in on them enough. I think they are understaffed, and that the staff they do have doesn't do enough. We chose it because there was a lot going on when we visited, it looked like it would be easy to get involved. Unfortunately they don't come and get them to join in on the activities, so we find that it isn't happening as much as we had hoped. They enjoy the food. There are some staff that we like. Consistency is a real issue for them. I think their heart is in a good place, and the managment is in a good place. It's not a bad place by any means. They do take too long to take care of the maintenance issues that come up.

I did not have a good experience with this community. It looks nice, and they have a good sales pitch, but they do not perform very well if your loved one has any care needs at all. It seemed they were more interested in low maintenance residents, and after a few bouts with infections my loved one was asked to leave. The food was also just absolutely horrible.

All Assisted living facilities are not created equal. Do your home work. check them out in person . ask a lot of questions. Home health services are not good for sliding scale diabetics. A full time RN is needed for accurate care in most states . Med technicians are good for most care but not Diabetics. The recommended facilities did not have the ability to care for a sliding scale diabetic. One Brookdale did (not heritage Tomball), so I moved my mothers furniture in. two days later the director called and said they wanted to split the care 2 shots of insulin by the RN and 2 by a home health care service . I said NO. they did however pay to move my furniture to another non Brookdale facility 1 hour away ,that could take care of my mothers needs. Hurray for Belmont Village west university in Houston TX .

This is a nice community but got the distinct feeling that the community is struggling to survive. The villas were nice but pricing on the high side. Location in Port St. Lucie is not convenient to where I would prefer to live.

This is a older place, check it out closer in - in Round rock, but stores right across the street - do not have to get on a main road. Apts
