Sagora Senior Living

They are in the midst of a massive renovation. It's a beautiful location and the grounds are gorgeous. Until it's finished, not sure this is the right place.

Too expensive. Rooms had odor. Not impressed.

The heritage in tomball, had many wonderful employees that have been let go by recent management. The many residents appear to disagree with the loss of very empathetic employees. I am concerned about my loved ones care.

Ellery Arbor was bought by Sagora a little over a year ago and it has declined. The caregivers are good but the management is not caring or nurturing in any way. No matter how long you are a resident there, they are happy to see you move! I would not recommend this facility for anyone’s loved one. No activities for the residents no matter what they advertise.

Too far

I enjoyed the tour of Heartis and was impressed with the overall physical facility. The site is quite large, and while aesthetically impressive, I felt it might become a bit impersonal with so many residents to attend to and engage.

I was very interested in touring this site. But the tour director was not very much into his job.

My Dad was here briefly and things didn’t quite go well. When we first brought him in, they were completely unprepared and were having staffing issues. We couldn’t get the service that we needed and it didn’t seem like anyone was around. We met with the management, though, and got a lot of our issues straightened out. After that, the rest of the time he was there, the service was pretty good. One of my concerns, however, was that the head nurse seemed to take offense to a lot of our complaints and never checked on my Dad the whole time he was there. The other nurses checked on him regularly and did a really good job of it, though. It’s a nice facility, but I think they might have some management issues. I would recommend this place but with caution.

I went on a tour here and the staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions. It was a very tall building And all the people just hung out in the front like they didn't have places to hang at. They didn't have a front desk person full time and that is important to me. Just not for mom.

Thought the cottages were fabulous! Main section was new but seemed small. Rooms were small.

I looked at Rosewood Estates while looking for a place for my husband and I, and I thought the apartments were just too small here for us. I was really looking for something more spacious, so we continued our search elsewhere.

Average is about 15 years older than I am. Expecting wifi in apartments by the end of this year. These reasons are deal breakers for me right now. This make change by the time I am ready to move.

Mom stayed here from July to March 2017 (7~ months). Staff was caring, but medication was still not being administered correctly after all that time.

I had toured a few communities and this by far was not one of my favorites. It was independent living which would not have been a good fit for my mother. But in walking around I noticed everything seemed to be old and depressing and dark I felt it could have used to be updated.

this is a nice community and the staff did a very good job with my tour, they took their time they showed me around and they answered all my questions. I just did not feel that this would be the best fit for my mom.

My father is doing pretty well since his move to this community. I do feel comfortable with his move to this community. The only concern we have had is when he first toured the community, he was told that he would have a nice size cottage with a back yard space. He was not placed in that cottage, the cottage he currently lives in is smaller than the one he was shown. He has a dog that he loves, and hopefully they are able to accommodate with giving him a bigger cottage. He doesn't the lunch, and dinner meals, they need improvement. If they are not able to accommodate in the areas we need them to, my father will be looking into other community's.

My mother is doing great since her move to this community. However there is room for improvement in areas around this community. One of our issues has been the cleanliness, they do not do a good job with the cleaning. The room cleaning is not very good and you must constantly complain. Also they need better quality in the meals they provide, and more of a variety to choose from. They are charging us for these services, so they do need to correct and improve. The staff is very friendly and helpful "most" of them. They have great activities and really encourage involvement. They were very helpful when moving in and went out of their way to help us. We wish they had an enclosed dog run and better security on the property. They are thinking of charging guests for meals and I think that is wrong as that discourages visitors from coming and my parents don't eat every meal we are paying for. The cleaning and help staff eat more meals than the visitors? And their meals are really not very good, but we want to spend time with our folks. They need to stay fairly competitive in price range as they do not have the best food, no fences, no private dog run, and cleaning services really need help. But the staff is great, the activities a great for my mom, and the location is convenient! Wish they had WIFI in the rooms.

The community has been great for my mom. We like all of what the community has to offer.

Heritage Oaks was a very nice community that we toured. The staff was friendly and answered the questions that we had. It was clean and well-kept. We chose another community because we wanted a larger outdoor area available for my grandmother to be able to enjoy the outdoors and fresh air.

The Waterford at Roxbury Park is not able to provide the care that my wife needs. They sometimes do not respond in a timely manner when my wife needs assistance. I was not able to bring in my own nursing care for my wife because they stated it was a liability. I feel their main concern is profit, not the quality of care being provided. The community itself is a nice community and the individual staff members are very friendly. They have an excellent chef who prepares good meals. I am in the process of looking at other communities for the care of my wife.
