The nursing company that comes in found my dad on the floor and put him back in bed and never called me about it. He was septic and had to be taken to the hospital, so that was really frustrating that no one ever called me. They told me that I needed to pay for 30 days after we moved him out of the facility as well. They never gave us a monthly bill so we did not know how much we needed to pay and then they would charge us late fees. Overall, it was not a good experience and I would not recommend.

They really try to look out for your health and well being. The food that they served here was good, we had a choice of a menu. They do have a good program for having input about the food and the menu, they meet once a week with the residents. The room size we had was very good. They did have people who would come in to clean and they were always very sweet and I could they really cared. We would recommend them.

The staff don't return the calls. I'm not impressed with the cost as I'm not sure what I'm getting for the price I'm paying. The community hasn't communicated with me what assisted living means. My loved one doesn't see anyone on staff unless something happens, or they ask.

Very friendly people, but apartments need serious updating. Cabinets in kitchenette and bathroom are old, and plastic bathtub needs to be replaced with step-in shower for seniors.

The community has changed directors several times, buts it's a good place, not the best but good. The room sizes are good and they offer different size rooms also. I would recommend this community to others.

The caregiver who was caring for my loved one, was fantastic! Landon Ridge was good, but if I had to do it over again, I would find a smaller place. This isn't a negative, my loved I would have preferred a smaller community.

For the first four to six months the meals and dining services were good. Once COVID came they closed down the dining room and you had to stay in your rooms. They had one hot meal and one cold meal item to choose from that was delivered to your room. They had to shut down the activities due to COVID, but beforehand we had about six months of good activities. The room sizes are not designed to live in them 24/7.

We were not happy with our experience with Elmcroft of Bella. They made us a lot of promises in the beginning and they were not carried through. My moms rooms smelled like pee really bad. For the care that she received, it was way too expensive. Overall, we would not recommend to others looking.

Lyndale Abilene community was clean which stood out to us. The rooms are good we did not have any problems with it. Our loved one hated the food, however we would probably recommend this community to others.

We have had to hire extra care givers to come basically take care of our loved ones, because their level of support is not quick enough or specific enough to their needs. They will push the button and it takes to long for someone to get to them. They are very short staffed, and have continued to stay short staffed and what that causes is not a high level of attention. The communication with families is hit or miss, we get a letter sometimes and sometimes we don't get notified at all. We have to continually bring food and give extra money for the food delivery, some of the meals are not edible. Our loved ones have a two bedroom unit, it is not hospital looking and it is a very comfortable environment for them which is very positive.

In the beginning, we chose this facility because it was cleaner and nicer when we toured it than some others. She also liked the patio area so that she could enjoy outside when she wanted to. I would want others to know that when I finally got into her room after the lockdown, it smelled very bad. It seemed that during COVID they were not cleaning the inside of the facility. The meals were also brought to their rooms and they offered no variety at all. She had no socialization which was the main reason we wanted to move her here. We moved her out of here because we did not have the best experience.

I liked the building inside and out. The staff and the residents are very nice. I have enjoyed living here.

I've only been here for 9.5 months. I am a people person. I have met many people (mostly through my mom who I share an apartment with). We are taken care of pretty well, even during this pandemic. I love to hear people's stories of their lives and travels, etc.

I love dining room dining. I love my bedroom. I do not have the view that they told me I would have. The servers are all wonderful especially now. I hope they are able to hire a wonderful chef that knows how to cook.

The Clairmont needs a new manager. The elevator is on the brink today, and we are stuck on the first floor when I live on a higher floor. They expect those that are in wheelchairs, to still use the stairs. I wanted grab bars for my shower. The community let me know that I had to get notes and then the community still wanted more information. Finally the maintenance man came in to place the grab bars in my bathroom. There have been a few of the residents that have fallen on the property on the sidewalks. As well as other places in the community. I believe they need to have someone come out, and make sure this community is updated for the handicap. If you miss the dining room three times during the week, you're not allowed to come to the dining room for the rest of the week. There have been residents that have been turned away for being 2 or 3 minutes late. You're only allowed to have window visits. The family of residents aren't allowed to even to come into the foyer. There's a park bench for the family of the loved one can sit and visit, or you can go out into the parking lot out of the view of the staff. The bench isn't far enough away to keep the 6 foot difference. They need to have more benches. There haven't been housekeepers recently, and the community has temporary workers for this. They have a hard time doing the housekeeping. The residents have suffered dirty apartments because of this. The bus driver and maintenance man has to do the delivering of food, and housekeeping.

I would tell my friends that it was ok. If you have a parent there you can trust them. My loved one was sick one time, and one of the aides kept checking on her. She never saw a doctor while she was there though. The room was good.

Harbor Chase community had several activities for the residents to participate in. There was painting, WII bowling, they even had poker nights. The food was okay. The apartments at this community were pretty small, but they had a lot of natural lighting and were adequate. Even though this is a newer community, the carpet could of used an upgrade.

They must do better with the meals/food. Especially people with health issues. If you look at menus there are way to many carbs and fats for diabetic, too much soups that are thin and lacking substance, not enough fresh vegetables and fresh fruit ( too much canned), etc. If someone falls and dosen't have their neck button with them they could lay there for days. There need to be some kind of daily check. Also if you push your neck button no one from the office comes to check on you and wait with you until ambulance comes. Too many unknowns. Someone needs to answer the phone all the time. I called in middle of afternoon for a well check on my mother and the person who answers is in corporate office. I asked for a call back once they checked and NEVER got a call back. The place is clean and homey but much needs work.

Our apartments are only being cleaned every 2 weeks and then it's hit and miss. We pay for weekly cleaning , but no adjustment in rent, we are paying for something we don't get. The food is being complained about by many residents, not just the quality but it is so slow getting here,it's often cold. Your last letter said we would still receive daily snacks but that hasn't happened for over 2 months. We are supposed to wear masks, several do not, but management ignores it. People are moving out because we are not getting what we are paying for.
