When our loved one first moved in all of a sudden the management changed, they lost all their chefs and still have not been able to keep a chef. We are not sure exactly what is going on, but since our loved one moved in it has just been a mess.

This community was independent living only. We saw a lot of residents coming and going, which is great for socialization, but if your loved one up and leaves, who knows what could happen. The staff we met were great, but the building was really old and outdated. They had done the best they could to keep up with the times, but it just didn't impress us that much as far as aesthetics. Instead of walk-in showers, all the bathrooms had bathtubs with a cut-out in the side and some steps, which seemed like it could be difficult for older people and didn’t sit well with us.

Community was clean and luncheon was excellent as food was fresh. The community is isolated and right next to a highway. First apartment shown looked out on concrete wall which was horrible. If there are dedicated rooms for gym/crafts/events - I was not shown them. Library was small. Apartments seemed very small even though sq. ft. is supposed to be large. Did not seem a very lively place.

We specifically chose this community because it felt more like a resort hotel, it did not feel institutional or hospital like. You can rent small homes, apartments, they have assisted living and memory care. The residents can roam indoors and never run out of places to go. Nothing is locked down so you are free to go wherever whenever, the residents have a sense of independence. They have basketball, bocce, lakes and a swimming pool. So if grand-kids come to visit they can swim in the pool, or do the other activities the community offers. Our only issues we had is with the nursing staff, their communication was horrible. They did not seem to know what was going on, and we figured out because the traveling doctor told us they recently lost the head nurse so it was taking awhile for the new staff members to get trained,and everyone was always so apologetic. However, putting the communication aside, the care they showed our loved one was wonderful, this was truly the best place he could of been at. He was only there for two months before passing but our family had such a positive experience.

It was nice. The person I needed to speak to, wasn't able to speak to them directly. The person that gave me the tour didn't seem know the information without looking up the information. Brayden park didn't give me a packet to take home to review.

We did a virtual tour with this community and it was very nice. The tour was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information to consider.

I wish I had known that there is a bigger variety of rooms than I was given a chance to look at before my family member moved in. So ask questions about every room plan they offer. We were told his was right by the elevator, but it's halfway down the hall, which I was concerned about due to mobility issues. When we first went, they had so many scooters and chairs in the hall so I was concerned about him getting around. That has gotten better since he moved in. The staff are okay overall. Most everybody I've dealt with has been very friendly, but there have been a few that really don't act like they want to assist you with your questions. There's one person in particular in sales/admissions who always helps us, and she is fantastic. The food is the biggest area for improvement. Options are repeated over and over, even between lunch and dinner, and there's just not a good variety of food. There's' s a lot of spinach, which my loved one doesn't like. Also, they're just a little slow with the meals. Sometimes breakfast starts at 8:00 in the dining room, and it's 9:00 before they get it served. I would still recommend this community to others. It's great for retirees that can come and go on their own, for that type of person. Overall it's good. Its nice and clean, and a beautiful place. The inside space and the outside grounds are well kept, and we like that. The biggest concern is the food really.

It is okay for an assisted living community. I wish I could have kept my loved one at another community. The price is more reasonable here. The staff seems to answer my questions. The food seems to be pretty good.

I would suggest you be careful. You hear things on the way in and they ended up not being true. They have lost some of my loved one's belongings and others were missing from their room. The communication with the caregivers was ok and the communication with the management team leaves something to be desired.

We toured this community and the tour was ok but the staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. The facility was older though.

We toured Landon Ridge and it was a nice and pretty facility but way over priced. It is overwhelming because what you see on the outside is not always what you see on the inside. I was paying close attention to the residents and I did not see any smiling faces.

The community does not have anyone there after 5 pm witch we understand. communication could be better it is very hard to get ahold of staff. I would like to receive an email with updates once a week. My loved one is very happy here and they have been very good to my loved one.

I would tell others that maintenance is slow, it has taken them now 5 months and things still aren't corrected that we have asked about. The administrative staff is also not very caring in terms of needing copies of contracts or correcting mistakes. I would recommend depending on your loved ones needs.

Place was nice only had a few water leak spots that needed to be taken care of.

Some of the help is so helpful and loving. Others have room for improvement with the food!! Always has something to do but never wears a mask.

Sometimes it is ok and sometimes it is not ok.

We chose this facility because they had availability and the pricing was the most affordable we could find. It also seemed to be good quality at the time. They have had some management issues within the last few months and we have also had communication problems with the administrators. There has also been a lot of turnover of staff members recently. The staff they have now are friendly but it will take them some time to get acclimated.

I would recommend you look elsewhere. My room hasn't been cleaned in a month. They can't keep good people, the bookkeeper just quit after about two months. With all these changes it has to be management. It seems like the staff are leaving quickly. The food is atrocious . If I didn't purchase my own food, I would go hungry. The beef is pink in the middle. The tuna fish salad is awful. The food quality has dropped drastically. If I could move I would move. The chicken salad was like room temperature. The items I ate for lunch has made me nauseated. I know the chef is doing the best he can do. I don't feel like I'm getting my money's worth here. The community provides towels and wash clothes are no longer pick these up for me. I wish the community would change the quality of food. I think they need a new manager of the community.

The communication is good between the staff and the family. They keep us well informed. I would recommend this community to others.

The reason for the low overall score, was that when they initially interviewed our loved one they knew he was a smoker and we even paid extra for that additional charge. When he moved into the community they were border lining bulling him to stop. We opened his windows and bought the top of the line air purifying system, and yet they still came into his room unannounced telling him to stop. That was the bad experience, however the good experience we had was that they were very caring, attentive and understanding.
