The staff at Bristol Park at Amarillo have been accommodating for our needs when it is brought to their attention. They do need more staff, but that seems like a dilemma at all facilities. Overall I would recommend this facility to others looking.

The meals provided are very sodium and carb heavy. I would like to see healthier meals. The activities offered are very limited. Physical activities are very few and far between. Turnover in staff, including directors, is high. Some are carrying the workload of more than one.

Staff was nice.The director or a manager at the time when mom was there had absolutely zero compassion when mom passed away. I sincerely hope she is not working there or anywhere else in the same or similar position.

The facility is really nice. The food is great!. The care is better recently. The place is divided into three parts. The facility, the personal care and then the rehab part. That makes things a little complicated, and probably why communication isn’t as good as it should be

Moved canceled leave. Didn't work out. Had to move someplace else! Staff was nice though. Would recommend for someone more independent than I. Staff was nice though. Corporate management changing hands.

The transition to memory care had some high and low points. Staff were friendly and listened to our concerns but staff did not appear to have additional training or information from administration about my mom’s specific needs. My mom has many challenges and staff are learning how to help her the best they can. Clothing and items have been misplaced therefore we have learned not to provide things that are costly. The nurse communicates frequently with family making us aware of challenges and mishaps.

Loved the people, the manager was fighting an uphill battle with an old building, the cleaning lady and being able to hire good cooks. Everyone was very kind, loved having a nurse come to my mo. And the hospital nearby.

The front desk staff at Elison of Pinecrest are super friendly. The management can be huffy. Housekeeping is a joke, which is frustrating as I was counting on it. The residents are 99% the nicest and friendliest people that I've ever met. When we first moved in, the food was served restaurant style, as advertised. Shortly after that, it went to all buffet style, which a lot of the residents really complained about. Those with walkers had a hard time going thru the line and carrying their food back to a table. The food was mostly pretty good, but there were almost never any vegetarian options (twice in four months). The salads were consistently very good. Many of the dinner offerings were too peppery and the pork was always tough. Their best chef left after we'd been there for only three months. She was truly special.

They have some wonderful, loving people on the staff. The rooms are the largest we saw when we were looking. The shortcomings are related to staffing and services organization and management: health care is good; however, housekeeping is spotty and occurs randomly. The trash gets emptied most weekdays, but the floors and surfaces don't get much attention. The food service is poorly organized. The servers concentrate on one table at a time- some tables wait over 30 minutes for a server while others are being served dessert. Training in institutional food service is needed; for example, bring the salads out on carts and serve every table at once, then move on to the next course. The Denny's model is too inefficient. If the chef is on vacation, everyone gets cold sandwiches... Activities get scheduled then cancelled. There is little emphasis on welcoming new residents and helping them settle in. Mom complained of loneliness. Family can't be the only source of stimulation. All of these things are fixable.

I would not recommend.

I love the friendliness and the staff is very nice at Elison of Orchard Glen. We are still without a lifestyle director and have to make our own activities. It is clean. The rent was raised 9 percent, which is hard. Food is generally good, but some is too salty and I have to eat in my apartment as I'm on a low sodium diet. They are not allowed to perform cpr and have to call an emt if someone falls.

If you are able to do everything for yourself & you have family to help then it's a good place but if you may need help not so good ! Better than a lot of places so it's okay.

The staff at Holiday Lakeshore Estates works hard, but there is not enough staff. The food is tolerable but not heart healthy. The cost is outlandish compared to the quality.

I would say the food is not so good. Staff is okay but better communication is needed. I would say visit at least 3 times, morning afternoon and evening.

This facility was in a major overhaul of employees at the short time that my parents were there, so I feel this attributed to many of the problems we had. There were a few outstanding employees, the rest of the staff did their best. The food was not good- complaints by many of the residents. The chef had been fired or quit, so the new person was not good. The staff was friendly. I would give a poor rating on the housekeeping on the assisted living side. At this time I would not recommend it, but with the new staff, maybe things will improve.

It's very good in some ways. In the end, my mom needed more assistance. It's a good place if you don't need much assistance.

Most staff are caring but understaffed to provide residents with higher care support needs. Also considerable turnover in caregivers. Poor communication between management, nurses, caregivers, residents and families. Persistent difficulties with med techs and medication management. Would not recommend as systematic problem with management that prioritizes corporate policies over residents care.

During the past 12 months they have had two Executive Directors and they have been without a permanent Director for months. The quality of service has been very uneven and I don't believe myloved one has had good continuum of care. During all this management turmoil the facility has instituted a price increase.

I am a resident at Holiday Brentwood Estates. Brentwood has many problems to solve before I would recommend it.

My loved one is no longer here. Nice facility for the cost. Care for my mother was lacking. Communication with upper management lacking.
