The apartments only had a fridge, microwave and sink, and my mom likes to tinker in the kitchen, so this wasn't really an option. They were smaller, and it was a lot older. it was right by the railroad tracks so it was extremely loud. It was walking distance from a lot of different shopping options, but that didn't make up for the fact that it didn't have a kitchen. The residents didn't seem engaged. We observed a meal, and none of the residents were talking.

It's very nice but they only provide one meal a day and it's a more elite organization than we were interested in. Not only that but it was dark. The rooms are small and they're dark and they have a full kitchen, which I guess since they only give one meal, might be handy.

My father had to move from another state to be close to me. We found university oaks to be clean, friendly, and they serve delicious and nutritious food!! He has been there 7 weeks and is enjoying the food and exercise programs. They provide activities and "field trips" for the seniors. It is good for him to be able to be independent while having staff and new friends watch over him. So far it is a great choice for him and my family. He does wish they offered more activities on weekends but they keep them busy during the week!!!

The Brennity is one of the nicer assisted living areas in the area. It is clean & has a beautiful setting. We were able to get a discounted rate as they are going thru some management changes. All the staff have been very pleasant. We are encountering more additional charges than we thought I think you just have to build this into the price. t's only been a few days but everyone has been very helpful. Amy in the marketing dept. is great.

He was independent living and it worked out well enough. He had a back door onto a patio that actually went outside and he had a real bedroom. He liked it well enough, the only real complaint he had about it was the dining room. To keep the prices low, and the prices are very reasonable, they had carts and would start on one end of the room with coffee and water and then start back over with salads or the next thing so dinner would be as long as an hour and a half. If you got there late you got whatever they were serving at that point in the rotation. My dad wouldn't eat because he didn't want to be in the dining room that long.

They appear to be understaffed. All of the problems that communities like this have seem to stem from being understaffed. They advertise 24/7 care but sometimes residents have to wait 30 to 40 minutes to get a staff member to help them to the bathroom. When you are paying upwards of $6,000 you expect your loved ones basic needs to be met all the time. The most challenging thing about US Memory Care is that they appear to be understaffed. My parents are genuinely pleased with the facility and the staff and they appear to be happy there. However, my father is starting to complain about the quality of the food and the repetitive nature of what is being provided. According to a recently published weekly menu, five out of the seven days in the week the residents were served sandwiches for dinner.

All the "5" categories speak for themselves. The cost of residency seemed much too high. Her monthly rent was $[removed]. My opinion is it was about overpriced by 50-75%. The deposit was $[removed]; none of which was rebated back when she vacated, leaving the apartment in excellent condition. She passed on [date removed] btw, with the majority of the month of April unoccupied. The company sent a check to her estate for $[removed]. Someone is making money somewhere. Summing up, the living/care experience at Brayden Park is highly recommended by me, but the financial aspect of it his the complete opposite.

Fair/good depending on the day. The administration/staff has had a big turn around and things aren't always coordinated. Staff overall is helpful when they are available. Activities are fine Food is fair, very small portions.

Staff was very nice but it really needs some improvements. They are supposed to get new flooring and do some painting. Furniture was very worn and some needs replacing.

The place is nice but I have been there when they come to help in 5 or 10 minutes and I have been there when it takes them an hour to come help so I'm very unhappy with that and they make them wait until last to get there food so I'm not happy with that and they make my mom wait an hour a lot of times past her medicine time. And I've had a lot of problems with them giving my mom some of her pills it's been an nightmare. But the place its self is a nice place and some of the people are nice , but my parents hate it and keep begging to leave.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They're not as organized as I expected. Sometimes it seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing--most likely not as good communication between different staff jobs and also to my loved one. As a new resident, there are things that need to be communicated, preferably in writing

I would give five stars for the effort the community put together for this open house. I would give no stars for the fact that they were only showing one particular apartment (very tiny). Turned out that the other couple attending, like us, were interested in their cottages.

The facilities are beautiful, well designed and appealing to the eye. The apartments and cottages are large and are configured traditionally with the bathroom, bedroom combination. The dining room, game room, lounge/library and cafe are all nice and welcoming. There really is no exercise room though they converted a meeting room into a place to conduct exercise classes. That's the strengths of the facility. The biggest flaws I've seen are two: There food service is very inconsistent, food quality, long service times, and employee turnover. And second, which in my opinion would solve most of the issues, poor management and leadership. In my opinion there's a lack of policies and procedures, job training, and scheduling to maintain a consistent level of quality. You have certain staff members doing their assigned duties, but having to work or fill positions outside their own job. It makes things complicated and confusing especially for an elderly clientele.

This is a lovely, newly renovated facility. The apartments are fairly small & may not work for all. It considers itself an independent living community, but we saw only 2 residents (out of 35 or more) who did not have walking assistance. We were impressed with all the activity spaces available.

Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing due to ongoing understaffing issues. The lack of staff has affected important areas of care, including timely meals, medications, and assistance with basic needs like getting to the bathroom. The caregivers who are there seem to do their best, but the facility clearly needs more support and better staffing consistency. At this point, I would not feel comfortable recommending this community until the staffing situation is improved.

Depends on " who " you get when you walk in. No place is perfect, but most friendly for the most part. Maintenance guys very good& informative. I've actually referred 2 families that were with parents at gardens of Venice, and they did switch and move to elison bella vita!

Seems over priced for the size of room's and what you get... Was clean and friendly environment just not for us.

Lovely facility - but not the right fit for us due to the couple being at separate stages : needing different levels of support. There didn’t seem to be as much flexibility as we found with other locations.

Facility did not keep the resident apartments clean. The room always reeked of urine and the bathroom floor was always sticky and dirty. They were very disorganized. Billing was a nightmare. Individual caregivers were okay. But most were grumpy and unhappy seeming. I moved my husband out of there within a month to[Name Removed]....was a very good move.
