Charge for every thing. Just fired a lot of staff and managers. No good reasons that I saw

The food is awful. The service in the kitchen is awful. They charge extra for services for people in wheelchairs and using Rolators. We make our own activities, they don't. The administrator is usually too busy to talk to us. The cleaning people are not friendly. The washing machines and dryers don't work on some floors

She's actually quite unhappy and looking to move again, so I guess we can take that for what it's worth. FS Beautiful grounds, nice residents. Not for people who are visually impaired.

The room/facility was clean and the staff was nice. They did not always knock when entering the rooms, sometimes just walk right in. If you were a few minutes behind getting to the dining room for food, you basically would get whatever is left instead of what was being offered to everyone else. My dad's shower was overflowing and the solution was for him to use another resident's shower after waiting a couple of weeks to get it fixed. There was no emergency maintenance and the CNA working in the building seemed to carry that role a lot. Overall, it wasn't horrible, but for the money you are spending, there can most definitely be those improvements.

The staff at Lynridge are extremely friendly & knowledgeable. We were ready to have my mother become a resident in the memory care facility. [name removed] there was super knowledgeable and knows her stuff about dementia. Our issue came from the contract & requirement that family must sign as a financial guarantor & be responsible for funds if the residents doesn't have funds. They refuse to alter this and said that all facilities would require it. They refuse to put into email or writing of any kind otherwise. I found the very next place we visited that Lynridge is mistaken. I found another place for my mother easily where we only had to sign as power of attorney and not as financial guarantor and it specifically states that family is not responsible with their own finances. So beware of the contract at Lynridge. To top it off the price at Lynridge is quite expensive compared to other places. They did lower their price but compared to the place we ended up with, they are rather high

Admin staff (particularly for Nursing) was difficult to get a hold of, sometimes nonresponsive. Admin was in a period of changeover, which was a good thing. Food was average, Dad saying that it seemed like foodservice quality. Facility was clean and activities were enjoyable.

There is a lot of turnover in administrative staff and management, which impacts both the residents and their families. There are community members who help new residents but they could improve by providing more communication and assistance to family members who are managing the finances, care, and ensuring our family members have what they need. Would highly recommend an external physician rather than the one who comes onsite. There is no appointment time, just a day, so you can't really plan. Then, he never actually examined my mom, just talked to her and recommended an option based on what he thought it was based on her age. The nursing staff is very caring and friendly and the facility is very nice. I have, however, had to press for changes in care rather than them recommending changes based on what they observe.

We appreciate the opportunity to share feedback on our recent experience. Overall, we found the community to be well-kept and welcoming, and we could tell that many residents were happy there. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t the right fit for my grandmother. The main challenge was social connection. She didn’t know anyone at the community and found it difficult to make meaningful connections. Many residents seemed to already know each other from the area, which made it feel more closed-off to someone new. While there were a good number of activities on the calendar, they weren’t always the kind that aligned with her interests or energy level. She’s used to being much more active and around family all day, so the transition was a big one. We asked if there was any kind of buddy system or support to help her get more integrated socially, but were told that type of service wasn’t offered. That was disappointing. I believe that kind of intentional onboarding could really help new residents feel less isolated, especially in their first few weeks. We also encountered some difficulty with transportation. We were told it was available anywhere within Pinellas County, which was a key factor in choosing this community. However, we later learned that all pickups had to be completed by 2pm each day, which made scheduling important medical appointments difficult. When we voiced our concerns and eventually gave notice, we were surprised and disappointed that the management team didn’t follow up to acknowledge our concerns or explore possible solutions. Even after moving out within the first 30 days, there was no willingness to waive or reduce fees. That lack of engagement made a difficult decision easier. Ultimately, my grandmother could have stayed longer, but we had to ask ourselves: at her age, why spend your days feeling lonely when you can be surrounded by people who love and want to spend time with you? We made the decision to move her out so she could be closer to family and feel more emotionally supported. Thank you for the care your team did provide during her brief stay. We hope this feedback is helpful in supporting future residents during their transition into the community.

The price bothers me the most everything else is fine. Their a caring people and I haven't seen one person that works here that I didn't like.

Communication after you settle in has been poor. They are great at first but once settled you are another email to answer. You have to ask multiple times. Activity bus is broken down so they have not gone out on outings that we were told about and other activities also not occurring (gardening). I think a lot was promised to get us to sign and choose their facility. We had to clean the shower before moving in. Toilet was broken and leaking etc. Just too many things that they have not been on top of. They have care acuity there (staff per needs of residents) but I don’t see it. I think they are understaffed and can’t keep up. They have a chef that makes everything homemade (another reason we chose) but food is not great at all. It has been disappointing and we may move her.

They were understaffed but a few staff members were very attentive and understood the needs of seniors. Since the nursing staff was inadequate, hospice nurse was brought in to provide services. I wish we had known sooner about hospice support for people with dementia.

Management of the changes twice in less than 6 months sucked. Additionally, they are trying to screw my mother out of her hard earned money after telling her they could no longer care for her. They haven't heard the last of me. They have sent a refund check with no explanation how they arrived at $[fee removed] when the rent was $[fee removed] .I will not cash their check.

We have had a great experience with everything except that residents are allowed to constantly wander unmonitored from room to room and take things that belong to other residents. Staff is not concerned and blows it off. Every time we go more things are missing so we have stopped bringing things that we know will keep her comfortable because it will be taken.

Our experience here so far has been better than expected. Washer/dryer connections in apartment.

The current director is very rude and awful to the residents and has committed fraud and extortion with some of them. At least one of the maids is a thief and the director has backed them up on a number of occasions when reported. The head waitress is also very rude and argues with residents about what they order. She's also rude to guests if residents as well.All of the residents and most of the rest of the staff and head chef are very, very nice.

Does not have a pool, jacuzzi or healthcare as claimed on your site.

right after i moved in and soon after, they were fixing balconies and moved my garden items into my living room and couldn't finish unpacking. - Took them months. I got water (3times)coming to my living room from balcony after raining - took months to fix. The gutter was away from side wall so water came down like a waterfall. Garbage disposal didn't work, somehow affected the dish washer function so couldn't use, - took weeks. Called front desk for work, didn't hear so Sent emails to the maintenance director and he made excuses. Supposed to have housekeeping 30 mins 1 day a week, hardly time to do much and can't on holidays. There were dead roaches on hallway and stains on carpet, dirty elevator- took weeks to clean. They do not tell you some times ahead of time when they come and they surprised me entering to apartment. They do not tell you when you tour that if you fall or can't get up from chairs, staff can not help. Learned later to call EMS. One time the fire department was called because a fall and couldn't get up and they broke door frame and maintenance took more than a month to fix. Pool temperature when cold weather wasn't always done. I was using with pt therapist in summer but couldn't in Autumn and Winter. I haven't gone to any outings because i needed the bus lift to work (it wasn't for months) but i found out that they can only lift my rolletor not me and can't go up the stairs to go inside and up the bus so as always, they can not help. One staff had me practice getting up to see if i could but i couldn't do it. Those are things you find out after moving in and not before. Very dissapointed to say the least. It would be nice if they had a better gym with more equipment. Some people moved out to regular apartments because of problems and the rise of rent cost. What has made it good is a comfortable apartment size with balcony view and well equipped kitchen(microwave oven above stove and hard to reach, got a small for counter), making friends, activities and must times food. (Salty some times, dry fish or meat, no sugar free or dairy free desserts).

We like the staff even though it changes often. They could improve on the food choices and getting residents out of their rooms for activities and meals.

Buy a motion sensor camera for the entry way to your apt. I had $[fee removed] worth of furniture & paintings stolen from my apt. Admin had signed out the key but didn't feel responsible. That's why I moved. The chef & wait staff are great.

My experience being here from when the building was HarborChase to now The Harrison, it was never the same there again, once this new company took over, I noticed that they were very rude and snappy all the time, ALL the directors most of which were new since the others quit once the new company came) they were avoidant to the residents, employees and Family like when they changed the contract it was hard for the residents to even get to talk to the [name removed], the residents complained and complained about no communication throughout the building. Not to mention the turn over rate of employees is crazy. The residents voices should be heard and do something about it instead of avoiding. The food is always cold but served on a hot plate.???
