We've been generally pleased with service at Adante San Antonio. The facility itself is a nice, clean building, and the accommodations for the residents all seem nice as well. They also do a good job with the food.

We did not have a good experience here at all. The facility itself is very nice, the apartments are a good size, and they keep everything clean and well kept. However, one of the administrative staff has been very unpleasant to deal with. I felt like he told us what we wanted to hear before we moved in, and then after our loved one was moved in he became very rude and unprofessional. There have also been issues with the caregivers being inattentive, and the meals having very small portions.

They’re good. They’re just expensive. It’s a very nice place. It’s a worthwhile while. It’s just it’s on the higher end of the spectrum on price. The food is excellent. There were some concerns with the laundry. There’s always been enough parking.

US Memory Care Colleyville is a nice place. People are extremely friendly. The different wings makes it comfortable and spacious. The rooms are nice and the place does not feel crowded. My mom feels safe and secure. The staff takes good care of her by administering her medication, providing 3 good meals per day and striving to get her involved in activities. In general, these types of assisted living locations are not cheap. For the fee, I would prefer to see more variety in the meals (and some better meals). I would also like to see more "brain" activities by using iPads or PCs to stimulate their memory. I think puzzles and throwing the ball around are good, but does not challenge everyone in the location. Finally, although the staff care takers are extremely nice and friendly, there's a perception that most of their work is "baby sitting". Sometimes, they are just sitting around on the couch with the residents. I would suggest that those are times to segregate the group and spend time on "brain" exercises or other activities with some of the residents. Overall, I'm pleased. Still, there's always some room for improvement to enhance the value of the experience.

It was OK, passed the smell test when you went in and for the most part the people did him OK. There's not a whole lot they had to do, but some of the staff was iffy. My dad walked out of the place twice and the called me to tell me that he couldn't stay - I didn't think that was a good way to do that. The place was too huge and I didn't feel like he got the care that he needed. It was literally right on my way home from work and they were very prompt with paperwork so I was a little disappointed that they said he had to leave.

They've been very very good to my mom. We feel that she's safe here. They watch after her medically and overall it's a good place. Sometimes they're a little slow on doing repairs around here but other than that it's great. This is the first place she's been and it was the nicest of anything I looked at - and I looked at a lot.

The apartments only had a fridge, microwave and sink, and my mom likes to tinker in the kitchen, so this wasn't really an option. They were smaller, and it was a lot older. it was right by the railroad tracks so it was extremely loud. It was walking distance from a lot of different shopping options, but that didn't make up for the fact that it didn't have a kitchen. The residents didn't seem engaged. We observed a meal, and none of the residents were talking.

It's very nice but they only provide one meal a day and it's a more elite organization than we were interested in. Not only that but it was dark. The rooms are small and they're dark and they have a full kitchen, which I guess since they only give one meal, might be handy.

My father had to move from another state to be close to me. We found university oaks to be clean, friendly, and they serve delicious and nutritious food!! He has been there 7 weeks and is enjoying the food and exercise programs. They provide activities and "field trips" for the seniors. It is good for him to be able to be independent while having staff and new friends watch over him. So far it is a great choice for him and my family. He does wish they offered more activities on weekends but they keep them busy during the week!!!

The Brennity is one of the nicer assisted living areas in the area. It is clean & has a beautiful setting. We were able to get a discounted rate as they are going thru some management changes. All the staff have been very pleasant. We are encountering more additional charges than we thought I think you just have to build this into the price. t's only been a few days but everyone has been very helpful. Amy in the marketing dept. is great.

He was independent living and it worked out well enough. He had a back door onto a patio that actually went outside and he had a real bedroom. He liked it well enough, the only real complaint he had about it was the dining room. To keep the prices low, and the prices are very reasonable, they had carts and would start on one end of the room with coffee and water and then start back over with salads or the next thing so dinner would be as long as an hour and a half. If you got there late you got whatever they were serving at that point in the rotation. My dad wouldn't eat because he didn't want to be in the dining room that long.

They appear to be understaffed. All of the problems that communities like this have seem to stem from being understaffed. They advertise 24/7 care but sometimes residents have to wait 30 to 40 minutes to get a staff member to help them to the bathroom. When you are paying upwards of $6,000 you expect your loved ones basic needs to be met all the time. The most challenging thing about US Memory Care is that they appear to be understaffed. My parents are genuinely pleased with the facility and the staff and they appear to be happy there. However, my father is starting to complain about the quality of the food and the repetitive nature of what is being provided. According to a recently published weekly menu, five out of the seven days in the week the residents were served sandwiches for dinner.

Overall we have been pleased with Mirabella. The food service is not up to par. Residents wait up to 40 minutes for their meals. I actually witnessed it and often the food is cold when they get it. I sent an email ti [name removed] and [name removed] about it, but have received no response from either of them. Other than that everything is really nice.

My mother only lived there for 5 months. Her health declined. The staff there were wonderful people but they were short staffed. That's about all I have to say. It's a great place as long as the resident doesn't need a lot of care. They had nice activities and food was delicious.

The administration is not great. Their lack of support of the med techs and other staff is terrible. They have been severely understaffed for months. They have gone through two chefs and the kitchen staff is nonexistent. The food quality has gone down tremendously. The executive director is not up to the task. There have been bed bugs on the upper levels that have not be handled properly. The incredible med techs staff then have managed to keep are over worked and under paid. The carpet in the man hallways smell and has not been updated in decades. The quality of food is garbage. Often times drinks are brought in either plastic cups or coffee cups. Plastic silverware is delivered to rooms and sometimes just a spoon for meals. Complaints have gone no where.

My mom has been there for nearly two years. Overall the place is a good value for the money and love the staff and[Name Removed], the activities director. They take good care of my mom. The administration is disappointing. It is hard to reach the director and the one time I tried to talk to her about a concern, she never called me back after multiple attempts and only was able to speak to her by tracking her down when in the facility. That issue is still pending after two months. Communication is spotty at best. The hot water was turned off for several days due to a pipe issue in the section my mom lives and not one communication went out to inform us of the status or ETA to be fixed. Every day I had to test the water or ask a staff member to determine if mom could take a shower that day. The food sometimes is not bad or good but my mom always complains it comes out cold. This is a more recent issue (maybe last six months) and she had not complained previously. She typically is a very positive person and for her to talk about it being cold all the time is impactful to me. They did just hire a new chef who starts next week! I do like the staff and [name removed] is great!

I was greeted with enthusiasm and a smile. I was disappointed because I am looking for an independent to assisted living and your facility does not have an independent unit. I did not take the tour.

Very nice facility with a great location. The staff is polite, accommodating, and always welcoming when I visit. The services provided are excellent, and the moms room is a wonderful addition. Overall, a very positive experience. Thank you.

The staff is friendly and caring but memory care is understaffed. Food seems good. Room's floor could be cleaner. Room size is good. People with dementia are labor intensive due to mobility and incontinence issues. They also need a lot of interaction and socialization in early to moderate stages. Staffing is not where it needs to be to provide optimum care.

Stonefield was purchased by Sagora Senior Living last year. While the frontline staff continues to do an amazing job, the overall experience has declined to a 3-star level due to poor food quality and high staff turnover.
