Have taken a tour. A very nice facility.

Will only do 30 days for respite care. I liked what I saw but the bathroom seemed far from the bed. Lovely room. Tour guide was very late meeting me. Dining room far from room.

Overall experience would probably be a three or four, mostly because [name removed]loves it so much there Cleanliness of the facility would be a four although I sometimes have to ask why his own room has not been cleaned. They seem to have a shortage and frequent turnover in staff, but the ones they do have are wonderful. Friendliness would be a five except the head nurse. Seems like we've had a few head nurses, and they all have the same personality. Quality of care would be a four because the people who do care for him are very thorough, but I don't think Bellarose was completely upfront with us about the whole aging in place process so we have had to do a lot of legwork on our own to make sure he has All the right care he needs as he is declining. Administrative staff would be a four. There was quite a bit of turnover for the first few months we were there. And I guess I should've bumped the nurse admin in this category. [name removed]admin has had to turn over as well and maybe not much training. I would say the food is for. [name removed]said it all tastes the same so I don't know. I know they give him plenty. He just doesn't eat most of it. I don't have a rating on the activities because [name removed]does not participate in any of them. And value of money would have to be a three. I think it's very expensive, it's nice, but we had to get so much care on our own on top of what we are already paying there.

The cleanliness of the community is great and friendliness of the staff members is good. They do get things done here but they could work on their overall communication, internal organization and follow throughs. Sometimes when you put in a work order to have something fixed, you don't really know when someone will be there to assist.

Landon Ridge looked like a really nice facility. The reason we did not go with them was because the sales director was pushy and I felt pressured. I knew it was not going to be the right fit for my loved one.

This is a pretty good place but it could also use a few improvements. The staff at this community are good. I have not looked into all of the activities just yet but get along with everyone. This community is not perfect but at the same time during these times what is. Some days the food is better than others but I do not like all of it and cook on my own. The chef is very nice but the type of things that they cook are not things that I like.The house cleaning is not good either and I have to a lot of times do this on my own. They are supposed to clean one a week and it has only been done twice and not to my standards and I have mentioned it a few times.

We feel that the assisted living side at The Brennity was an after thought, and they seem to drop the ball when elderly assisted living people need attention.

Through COVID the activities have been limited, however facility has stayed COVID free. The lock down efforts at is facility have had a negative effect on the residents, including our loved one. The dining room has been closed, and one of many reason we found this place was the social aspect it had to offer. This community is very clean, and we did like the people quite a bit, they really did seem to care about the residents. The facility itself is not to large, and its not to small. It also did have a progression to memory care onsite.

We no longer get some services that are supposed to be included in our rent. I understand the importance of protecting us from COVID, but there should be alternative services provided.

I’m very happy with how well the staff have managed to keep consistent safety measures in place during this pandemic. It changed so much about the residents’ daily routines, and staff seem to be doing the best they can. One issue worth mentioning is that the weekly apt cleaning was dropped to biweekly. That’s not often enough, especially for elderly people. Lots of accidents happen often. There has been a noticeable odor in the hallways coming from some rooms. I recommend either hiring more staff and go back to a weekly schedule, or drop the rent as residents are paying the same for fewer contracted services. They may need that money to pay for home health services to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.

I love [names removed] for their Hard Work at keeping my room looking good and serving my meals. Also [name removed] for always being there to answer my questions and get me everything I ever needed.

This is not a good fit for a person with higher end care needs. The staff was really good. The food was just okay. The room size and layout of the community was nice. They did not have much outdoor space.

A safe, reliable, patient and helpful driver is a typical description of the bus/shuttle driver @ Landon Ridge, [name removed]. Always there to transport, load packages and unload them from shopping trips and ever-ready to lend a hand ! Always on the "Driver of the Month" list !

It is a very nice facility. The staff are very courteous and helpful. It is clean and they do a very good job with activities. The food at lunch and dinner could be improved. Breakfast is good.

My wife and I moved to the BRENNITY,Melbourne Fl in May of 2018. When we moved into our cottage it was very nice, - people were friendly, employees were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Around the last of November or the first of December everything changed for the worse. Decisions by local managers as well as people from corporate changed our transportation arrangements, we had to wait three weeks to go shopping (at Christmastime!), we could only get free transportation to doctors on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and extreme costs were charged for other trips. The food became noticeably worse and folks began to move out. After a short period of time a group of home office employees came in and had a meeting with all concerned residents. All of the local managers subsequently disappeared, and some of the home office people were assigned to get things in better shape. One of those folks was assigned to the kitchen and dining room and the food returned to very good with a good, experienced person left to manage until a new, permanent, manager could be found. The temporary Brennity manager, [name removed], has made a wonderful difference. We will hate to see her leave us. Thanks for the opportunity to leave these remarks. [Name removed]

I really like this place except for the food which is pretty bad and quite unhealthy.

This is a very nice option for an independent senior. If the senior recognizes their medications, can walk, eat without assistance, bathe and groom without assistance and has no signs of dementia or confusion then this is a very good community to consider. Residents are on their own. There are no nurses or doctors on staff. There are expensive ala carte “sitter” options from a healthcare office located in the building. Three meals a day in a dining room setting or meal delivery option. The dining room serves the better food options otherwise you take whatever they drop off in your room. Telephone service and internet service in your room is not included in your monthly fee. Your fee includes electricity, 3 meals a day, water, housekeeping once a week, cable and your rent. The workers are friendly and managers are very nice. They provide lively entertainment and activities.
