Overall it's a good place, although there have been some challenges. They've had problems with the plumbing and not having hot water. Sometimes they run out of food and have been without a cook, so the food is not very good- just sometimes, not all the time. And they've had problems with the cleaning sometimes. But overall it's nice, and my friend is enjoying it very well.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community is short staffed, like a lot of places are nowadays. They have lots of activities for the residents to choose from. My concern is with the accounting department. They don't understand that they have double billed in the past. They have also not been able to get their billing correct until recently, and they are not being helpful with resolving the situation.

The tour was great. We were in the process of moving and we had to do the tours remotely. The community was great but there was just another community that worked out better for my loved one.The tour guide was good and was able to give me all of the information I needed about the community.

In memory care, the caregivers are calm and compassionate. And they really allow as much freedom for the residents as possible, which is nice to see. I think they are a little bit understaffed, but they do the best they can with what they have. It's an older facility but well kept, and they're remodeling. It's always clean and fresh looking, and the landscaping is fine. And the cost is in line with other places in the area.

The tour at this community was really good and the community did a good job showing us around and giving us the information that I needed.

Bristol park has been a cost effective opportunity to get the care that my loved one needs. He has improved as a result of being here and he is still not very thrilled with being there but making it through. They had a problem with flooding in the winter and the work out room is in the process of a remodel due to this issue. They have some sun activities during the week for the residents and more for them to do to stay busy.They have also gotten my loved one to all of his appointments. It proved to be a quite economical place and we are saving in the process compared to other communities.

Our timing was not great with Covid surges. Also, they transitioned from one ownership to another after my loved one moved in. But she has now settled in. There were some challenges and hiccups along the way. But whenever there was a hiccup, we would talk to someone at Elison, and it was dealt with. The only issue we're still having is lack of help in the dining room. And I know that's occurring everywhere right now. At first the cleaning service was not very good, but they've changed services, and it's excellent now. The nurse has been awesome. The food is excellent, and the menu is very good. Activities are wonderful, and my loved one is getting involved in a lot of them. They have something going on every day, and they have a cocktail hour most afternoons. That socialization aspect was a huge component of sending her here, and she's definitely made friends. I also like that they're open to visitors at any time, so we get go whenever we please as much as we please. It's expensive, but I feel like you get what you pay for.

We chose Heritage Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care because of the facility's cleanliness and the availability to get us in quickly. They keep it remodeled and up to date. I would recommended them to other families looking.

Overall it's been a good experience. My parents kind of keep to their own, so they weren't really looking for and don't participate in the activities. But the apartment itself is very nice and sufficient. And the people are nice.

I thought Elison of Pinecrest was really nice. I liked just about everything about it. They gave a good tour and had a good marketing program. We chose a different place simply because we had another family member there.

Ellery Arbor Memory Care has been a good experience so far. they offer activities like crafts, movies, etc. they recently took my loved one and other residents on an outing to the museum. she enjoys the food. I visit often and am able to talk face to face with the staff and management regarding my loved ones care and needs. its a nice community, and we like it! it's an entertaining place for seniors.

I would highly recommend Elison of Maplewood to others for their loved ones. They have continuous care for my loved one, they meals are wonderful, and there are lots of activities for the residents to partake in and these are all things that stand out to me. The only concern is that you don't have one point of contact to speak to about my loved one. It would be nice that the one person knew all of my loved one's history. Some of the activities are bible reading, puzzles, crafts, walking, exercise, field trips, bingo, and more for the residents to choose from. They also have transportation for the residents to use.

I think what sticks out to us most is the environment. Since it is a smaller facility with less residents it has a very low stress/laid back feeling which is important. Everyone here has been extremely friendly. My loved one has a very large room and they do have a variety of different sizes that you are able to choose from based on your needs. I would recommend Martin Crest to others looking.

I thought Harborchase of Huntsville was great. I liked the staff we toured with, particularly David. They treated us to lunch, and the food was good. I liked the facility. It was just at a distance from our family that wasn’t conducive to visiting. Also the cost was higher.

This was a nice community with high ceilings and friendly staff. There are no outdoor porches and they didn't have any rooms available on the first floor, this was the only drawback.

Lyndale Edmond seems like a nice place. When we walked in, it did not smell as clean as some of the others but it was not overpowering. The rooms were on the smaller side, but they had a very large outdoor area that looked great. The tour experience overall was a good one.

It is very nice sized. Big enough to have what you need, small enough to know everyone. They have struggled with turnover. We have had some breakdown in communication a few times. Overall It has still been a good experience. I feel my loved one is safe and well taken of. We are happy she is there.

I would say to look carefully at this community and see if it fits you or not.

The meals and dining service needs major improvement. If you sit in the wrong section of the dining hall you risk not getting your full meal. It takes so long to eat dinner there before of the slower service and sometimes when your meal is finally delivered you might only get half of what they are serving. It is not the most expensive community in the area, but with the way the meals are going it is just not the best value. However, the day to day staff, the house keeping, the kitchen staff and numerous management workers are just wonderful.
