We toured with Windcrest on Van Dorn and it was a very nice facility, but it was also very expensive as well. At this point in time, we did not think mom needed this level of care quite yet which is why we went with a more independent facility.

We toured with The Brennity at Melbourne and thought it was a very nice facility. The staff were great and showed us all around and answered all of our questions. We just got a different feel at another place from all of the people and that was the reason we decided to go with them over this one.

Overall the experience has been good. My loved one really likes the food and has had no complaints about that. Because it is independent living, there is a maid service that comes in and cleans but not thoroughly. I would tell One thing that is included in the monthly rent is transportation but they did not have a bus driver for many months. The van is in the shop a lot so it is not a reliable source, but the man who drives the bus is amazing. They do have a nursing company that resides in house, but you have to hire them separately - we have been happy with their services.

I think the facility is a nice place. I wouldn't have a problem living there myself, if I needed to. The only thing we had an issue with was when my dad stopped breathing at the facility, we had a DNR for the hospital in his will, but we didn't realize nor did they inform me that they needed a specific DNR for the assisted living facility itself. I've told friends that if they are looking for an assisted living facility and if you also want a DNR, you will need to have a separate form for that, anywhere you go. I really appreciated their facility very much for the things they accepted in regards to my dads care. I had a good feeling going there. They were very helpful; anytime I texted a question, I got an answer back. So I was surprised when the DNR was not brought up because they were very helpful with everything else, like reimbursing us because my dad didn't stay there long.

Overall good...food not always... Would like to see better home cooking meals and Mexican food dishes...

We absolutely loved Walnut Creek, all of the staff members were so friendly and extremely attentive. However when they had that flash flood the entire community flooded and our loved one had to move.

The manager is fantastic and will listen to the family if there are issues that arise. You most likely will have issues that arises and the manager will try to find a solution quickly. There have been sandwiches served for dinner and a bigger meal at lunch. This is an older building; however, if you compare the value for the area the value is actually good here. I would recommend you take a tour to see if this is a good place for your loved one. There is a physical therapy office in the complex if your loved one would need it. You are able to utilize an independent contractor to assist with medication management.

It's a nice place, staff is friendly, and they take care of their patients/elderly. Also, they try to provide entertainment and day trips for them.

Mirabella Living was an older facility, and I found some of the rooms a little crowded/small.

I thought it was very nice...the front desk was pretty disorganized. Called several times and no one answered or did not return calls! My ex husband did not use the facilities - he hardly left his room - so can't say too much about anything else. I would recommend it however!

Nice community. They spoke about the different level of cares available. Their response time was late following up with me due to their Marketing Director being out of town.

What we really like about The Brennity is that it is very clean and peaceful. They have rules there which they follow especially when it comes to covid and if they ever have an outbreak. They are very on top of it, they are not lackadaisical about things and we feel our loved one is very safe there. It also is just a beautiful community and we would recommend them to other families.

All the staff have seemed to be very helpful to the family and our loved one. The day that my loved one was moving in, the community went above and beyond and brought a meal up to my loved one's room for the entire family to enjoy. This is a reasonably priced community for my loved one.

Mom had adapted well to assisted living at Landon Ridge. Residents and Staff have been very welcoming and helpful I rated Care a 2 because the nurses are not that attentive. They do make sure the residents get their medications but that's about it. We pay for shower assistance but no one ever shows up on time. Thankfully my Mom can do it herself.

I really liked the sales lady at Mirabella Living, but it was a bit of an older facility.

We chose Bristol Park at Eagle Mountain mainly due to the convenient location, it is only a few minutes form my house. The marketing director we first met with was WONDERFUL. We had a full week of struggling with my moms AC and she was so good about figuring the issue out and she never gave up until the problem was resolved. The activity director [name removed], we LOVE her - she is very personable and I love the Christian materials that she gives out to the residents. They also have bible study on Tuesdays and she leads that and she is just amazing. Out of the whole place, she is definitely the highlight. My mom has only had good things to say about the food that is served. All in all we are very happy and would highly recommend the facility.

I toured Caydance Assisted Living & Memory Care. The rooms were clean, and the eating area was very nice. The community itself was very new and upscale. We mostly sat in a room and talked, but the staff were very honest. They let me know that if my parents were at a certain point of independence, then they don't need to come here; but if they begin to show certain signs, then I should come back and check them out. The price was a bit too expensive, but the cost I'd be paying would be for things my parents didn't need at that point. We chose another community because Caydance wasn't a good fit, but if my parents needed memory care and extra assistance, this would have been a good choice.

The things that we were offered when we signed her up, some of those things have been taken away but I think it is because times are hard and they cannot find help. Overall they have been great and I am so thankful that she is in here because it gives me peace of mind. Mom is adjusting well and they do offer a ton of activities. They have bible study once a week, bingo, they take residents on a pontoon boat, van trips to go shopping, a movie room, a sewing room, exercise classes, etc. The staff as well as the residents are all so friendly. The facility is very nice and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Lakestone Terrace to others looking.
