I would tell a friend to contact you guys. Because you did a great job of finding a place for mom and dad.

Looked at several places and most seemed adequate to fit the needs of my mother. We chose Brennity at Fairhope mainly because we were able to get special pricing. However, we were also looking at the quality of food, activities available, and transportation. They have certainly met our requirements. Her room is small, but it worked out well with her furniture. Only downside to her room is the size of the bathroom. Larger units do have bigger bathrooms though. She is happy with Brennity at Fairhope of so are we.

The staff is very caring of the residents and have numerous special events to entertain everyone. The cafeteria has had some disruption but serves wholesome and a variety of good foods. The condition of the facility is average, but they are making progress. They continue to make repairs but have limited staff for all the work that needs to be done. Overall, it is a good facility and we are happy with our decision in selecting Holiday Renaissance-Sherman.

Facility and amenities are really nice. First walked in, I expected it to more than it does for assisted-living. Staff can sometimes be hard to get a hold of and everything goes through central operate when trying to return calls. I hear everyone complain about the food and just chalk it up too resident not being able to make their own food.

I would recommend it to others. My parents are pleased with their apartment and the activities. The food could be a bit better and the dining room needs a makeover.

It has improved recently since Sagora took over, but it has had 3 to 4 directors this past year. I think they are still short a few people, i think they could have a few more activities but like I said I think it's getting better

She is loving the experience there now that we moved her closer to an elevator...the towers there are very large and the original apartment was too long. They are renovating the place replacing carpets and already redid the main area downstairs. The place is very friendly and Mom has made friends there. She likes the woman who cleans her place and does the linens. The food is good in general. She doesn't complain. She plays bingo and is Getting in the swing now. The facility price is acceptable compared to the competition. Overall we are happy with the choice

My mother likes that she can plant flowers and bushes in the side gardens. She likes her apartment overall. Here are the things that need improvement: There is no security. Residents forget sometimes to close the exit doors at night and there are no cameras or security to make sure people are safe. Food is a big issue. Five or six new chefs within about 4 months. Many days all they get are sandwiches and fruit. Sometimes served on paper plates even with plastic silverware. High turnover on staff and many residents have heard the current manager yelling at the staff. Her cleaning lady often does not come for 3 or 4 weeks at a time. Overall would recommend for fully functioning adults. I would not recommend it for anyone trying to put their family member there who are in the beginning of stages of dementia. They can walk out the doors at night and with no security would not be able to get back in.

I would recommend this to anyone for whom value for money is an important factor. There is openness, dignity and a feeling of optimism. I would choose this for myself, if the need arises. The food is a little drab. It feels like typical mass produced school cafeteria food.

The facility is nice. Clean. The staff friendly. The management had a high turnover rate. My sister wandered away from the facility and I found out they had no cc system to monitor who came and went from the facility and when. They had to issue a silver alert. She was missing for 3.5 hours and was found through social media.

Facility is nice and staff very helpful. Only part of stay that has had an issue is with the cafeteria. They seem to have a hard time keeping help . Food started off wonderful the first several months of her stay . But has been inconsistent more recently.

The staff have all been extremely caring and helpful. As far as the food goes, they could improve on the overall quality. They also need more choices for diabetics (2% milk, sugar-free syrup, etc.).

It's been good overall With the ownership change there have been some hiccups All I keep hearing is: "food supposed to be getting better, but not yet" "seemed to be short staffed" In-laws are slowly adjusting, I keep encouraging to be social and get involved/go down for activities but without a direct invite from another resident I don't know what else to request

The overall experience was fair. Food was very good and pricing was better than most but the care was mediocre. I was very disappointed in The Brennity's medication management care as it required a lot of oversight on my part. There were a lot of mixups and getting someone to call me back was nearly impossible. The last disappointment was that I never received a sympathy card from The Brennity. Taking everything into account, I would not recommend The Brennity.

Based off of our personal experience, we would recommend Bellarose Senior Living to those looking.

I have not been impressed with Heartis. The day after my husband arrived the top 2 administrators resigned and a few days later the financial administrator also left. The replacement executive director resigned after 2 weeks. If my husband was not getting physical, occupational and speech therapy along with an MD I would remove him from the facility. It is very difficult to get answers to questions to about his care. My husband's clothes are not being changed. I found he was wearing the same clothes on a Tuesday that he was wearing the previous Saturday. There were no dirty clothes in his laundry hamper or in his laundry basket. He may not be showered either.

Others, they need to see for themselves. I would recommend if they can afford it. They don't take insurance.

When my father moved in to Heartis, the admin/executive staff was in upheaval. The rates and policies seem to vary, based on who you talked with. Still, they stood by all of the written info we received. Their care staff members are top-notch and wonderfully friendly. Also, the food is great. Activities Director and Chef are excellent! Hope they get an Executive Director and Business Manager who continues the real community feel at Heartis.

They charge extra for every task of maintenance. (Putting bath bars in). $[removed] for two bars that we supplied. The need to shampoo the front entrance and hall, where spills have happened. High initial fee charge of $[removed]. Monthly charge for personal security button. ($[removed]) Previous place charged yearly $[removed]. No monthly charge.

Comfortable place to live. Activities for those who like to participate. Different entertainment with holidays.
