It was a great value and very nice staff. I felt very confident that he would be safe and taken care of. Dad was proud of his new home. I would recommend this facility to family and friends! The only issue I had was Dad died on [date removed] after being the hospital 4 days. They wanted me to pay all of August rent because he didn't give a 30 day notice???? I offered to pay for the week it took to remove his stuff. After months of calls, and collecting letters, we settled his account.

The grounds are beautiful and the apt. Is also beautiful. It's a wonderful location in NW OKC. They tell you the rent will only go up no more than 5 % . That has not been the case. It raised as much as 10 % . After less than a year.

It seemed very friendly and well run. Not only were the staff friendly, but the residence seemed very friendly. There are lots of activities that they have the option to take advantage of. The only negative is the constant maintenance issue with the elevators.

It's a good place. The staff is friendly and attentive. The facilities are clean. We've had no problems. I do think it's a little pricey as they went up on costs last year, conveniently the same time that SS payments increased and by the same amount which was kind of disappointing. But I get it that everything costs more the last few years. I just wonder if they'll go down if there costs do. I doubt it.

I was most impressed with the friendliness of the staff. I think I would recommend this community. My dad was in a wheel chair but his mental state was still pretty good at the time and there wasn't a lot for him to do especially in the evenings.

Positive first impression. The facility very clean through out. Her room smelled of urine from down the hall. Always greeted and helped when I had a question. They accepted her in assisted living. She probably needed more services. Rarely saw staff on the floor unsure what their ratio was. She did not go down for meals. They brought them up to her. Most of the time she was sleeping. Don't want to down grade staff because we bought insufficient level of care. I have no working knowledge in regards to the food. She maintained weight so at least OK. She does not actively engage. E.g meals brought to her. From observations, they have an active general schedule that included family members. Socials, holidays, etc. Very competitive pricing to begin. Several management/marketing changes within months. Increased service related charges. Unsure if it was because she needed additional help or there was an overall nice to revenue generation. She moved out in [date removed] to skilled nursing. Overall very pleased with Mirabella. Thanks for your help also when we were looking.

I love the new director there and there are a few R.A.'s that are just precious. [name removed], the head med tech, is fantastic. I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience I have had so far.

Waterview The Point Independent Living is a great, thoughtful place. They offer so many advantages, I assume from over years experience. It is very clean and there is a housekeeper once a week, The staff is friendly/knowledgeable. They have great attention & care/many tenants fall & there is a quick response. There is a perfect dining area; the meals good & plenty, but sometimes more thoughtful to looks & presentation than tasty. There are lots of varied activities and list shown on bulletins received 6 days a week. Menus on back. It is quite expensive and some cannot afford it, but many amenities I recommend. They have much experience & cover most all needs. They have experienced shortage of waiters. but just added 4.

Overall this transition has gone very well! There is always room for improvement, nothing is perfect. My mom sometimes complains about redundancy with food options and there is only one maintenance person but he is great! Just a little too busy. However, the small team makes a lot happen. My mom is doing amazing better than I've seen her in years. And the staff knows her and obviously cares about here, which is comforting.

We have been looking for a place for our mom for about 2 years. The first place we chose was a disappointment and we started another search. Then we found Aberdeen Heights! Now we feel confident that Mom is home at last.

Overall, our family member is happy with the facility. Very nice, clean, well kept. Staff is friendly. Her main complaint is the food is not very good. Residents seem to complain to each other, but not to management. Also, she is diabetic, as are many other residents, and there are few, if any, diabetic food choices for meals, other than eggs and protein for breakfast.

There seems to be high turnover. Communication is poor. I'm the one who has to ask for a meeting to discuss care, concerns, meds, doctor assessments, etc. Until recently they didn't always clean, change sheets and do her laundry weekly, like the contract states. There have been 3 rate hikes for various reasons. I'm sure it is because of turnover in management and nursing positions. I'm told they are trying to find their footing, and it will improve. Everyone is always nice and quick to get back to me, but I'm the one who reaches out. Over the years with family, this is the third facility I have dealt with, and each of those places had quarterly meetings with family members. The only meeting they scheduled with me was to inform me of an [fee removed rate increase as of [date removed]. That was after the [date removed] increase. Of course, memory care means another increase.

I would recommend it. I picked this community because it was no smell and I liked the staff.

Carpets should have been replaced 1 year ago. They are past usefulness/ cleanliness. Why No recycling?

It's been a good experience and the staff has been kind. There were recently a lot of upgrades to the building.

I am struggling to accept my Parkinson's diagnosis and what appears to be a rapid progression. I loved that they had speech ot/pt services on site. That slowed the process progression of my pd. The staff of these programs saved my life in the six months I lived there. Beyond that people there I found to be judgmental and unforgiving. I made a couple mistakes my first week that hurt no one. But some could nut let it go and others were mad and rude to me until the day I moved at six months. It wasn't even all that but just not a very welcoming and warm place. New owners were struggling with staff shortage including all management. Plus I realized I needed more help than I did realized.

I would tell a friend, how much my parents love it there. [name removed] was my selling point. She helped us with everything. Thank you for what you guys do. It saved me and my family so much time, tears and anxiety.

Our dad loves it there, but he needs so much care now there are things they will not do and the things they will do are all extra. It's quite an expense and thankfully the VA kicked in to help finally. They deliver the meals to his room since he will not come to the dining hall with his catheter bag. He doesn't mind paying extra for them to deliver. He doesn't eat a lot of it, but says they feed him well. We paid to have him bathed in his room, cleaned at least once a week. But often feel we need to clean and change the sheets in between. They are very friendly, but the staff changes frequently and that is discouraging. He does not participate in any of the activities.

The residents are individuals and, as in any neighborhood, some are more outgoing than others. There are always many residents at the activities and although my parents have become pretty much home bound, I enjoy knowing the other residents. The upheaval in staff the last six months is disconcerting though.

Great experience overall at Landon Ridge Alamo Ranch. However, I understand this is an independent living facility, but when someone is in obvious need of physical help, there should be an exception made to assist the individual.
