There will always be better places with a higher rent. For the price, it is good. It appears to have a lot of turnover in staff and residents. Yes, we would recommend Landon Ridge to other families for those on limited funds...

Everyone at Asher Point has been very friendly! There has been some maintenance needed on some washers and dryers, and they have fixed that. They are currently remodeling, which is needed. It is a great independent living community! My friend who is a resident has met several friends since she has moved in. She enjoys playing bingo and participating in their many activities!

Like everywhere. High turnover rate. Extremely friendly though and easy to get ahold of. Good communication.

My little dog barks when I go to dinner. Trying to figure out a solution for that. But people are very nice, food is good and I like my little yard for the dog. People are so nice, I love my physical therapist and my helper [name removed].

They could improve on the food quality, presentation, choices, and diabetic options available. The staff have been friendly and helpful.

Maintenance stinks. Carpet let go of some of the purse strings. Management could certainly let us know what's going on around here and what the problems are and what are the fixes and another thing. How about when they may be fixed as far as maintenance is concerned I've been in the field for over 40 years This place this place as far as maintenance is concerned is pathetic. This place needs stronger management and get management or corporate offer back.

The free internet here is a joke! The facility is great but for a geek like me the internet system sucks. The food is good and they have plenty of activities to participate in.

We feel she is safe and well taken care of at Magnolia Court. Yes, we would recommend Magnolia Court Assisted Living and Memory Care community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The facility is slowly getting a facelift. All apartments are being updated to all hardwood floors (much better than carpet that holds stains). New residents will move into a newly updated apartment. Helpers are upbeat and friendly. They genuinely care about the residents. I will say this - I have to continually stay on top of the med techs and the on-staff nurse to make sure mom's medications are being given properly. I have had issues (more than once) and I have had to correct them. I do not ever assume it's all being done correctly

Independent living is like night and day difference from the assisted living side of this facility. Independent living is very accommodating. The food is very good.

I like my apartment but, there has been problems with maintenance taking long to fix. Problems that were there before i moved in: gutter wss loose above balcony and I had water in my living room from rain coming from balcony it took months to repair gutter. cracks on balcony still not repaired, garbage disposal was repaired but took 2 weeks to repair. Liquid laundry detergent dripped behind washing machine, it was reported but it hasn’t been cleaned(needs washing and dryer to be moved). you do not know there are certain issues or problems in the apartment or facility before you move in and find it out after the move. I now wonder if the previous resident left because of the issues and Landon Ridge staff knew about them. I need to use a Rollator walker and can’t go up steps so i can’t go to outings because they can’t use the transportations lift.

Facility is very appealing and clean. New furniture, flooring. Looks like a new facility. My mother says some of the care staff are "a lot nicer when loved ones are around" but they typically do their job. Not much assistance with bathing but that may vary with resident. There are often long waits for the food and then it is often not hot. She says it is spicy. Not very senior friendly. When she first moved in, they provided soft drinks and even wine in the mini refrigerators in a couple of areas. Now they do not provide sodas at all and rarely ice cream.

Our overall experience with Caydance has been positive. Our parent has been a resident for over a year, and we have had no issues that would give us pause in recommending it. That said, here are some specifics that an incoming family may want to know. Communication is great and we feel it is key to any residential facility. We are able to text, call, or email, and always receive a prompt, attentive response. Whenever we have a question or concern, the very friendly staff is just a quick communication away. Also, they send out invitations to families about once a month for activities they can join in on. They offer birthday and Valentine's packages for your loved one. Billing is itemized and straightforward. Activities are another high point. Each month Caydance provides a calendar of events. A glimpse at this reveals well-rounded, something for everyone, options. There are Wii games, restaurants, field trips, shopping trips, movies, and religious services, just to name a few. A nearby preschool visits for holidays like Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. Musicians frequently visit, performing in the lunchroom. Cleanliness is sometimes hit or miss. Fortunately, it NEVER smells bad, which is something we have encountered at other residential facilities. However, it is sometimes obvious that a vacuum needs to be run around the place either more often or more carefully. The place has never been "dirty" per se, but it just appears to need some extra attention at times. Perhaps the cleaning staff just couldn't come in some days? Meals are varied and healthy. Our parent complains about the food quality, but we are not certain if there is truly a problem with the food. Caydance seems quick to accommodate if a resident wants a particular food (if it is basic enough). The overall quality of care is exceptional. That being said, some of the caregivers are better than others. We have never been concerned about our parent being neglected, but some caregivers are more willing to go the extra mile with a smile on their face, than others. I would guess this is the case at all facilities, however. If a concern is brought to management's attention, it is promptly addressed and resolved. And, some caregivers are definitely very good and exceed expectations. Bottom line: Caydance is a solid choice where your loved one will be safe, enriched, and cared for.

My brother's money was stolen by some "friends" and he could no longer afford assisted-living. I read about A Place for Mom online and called. They suggested that he might be able to successfully live in Independent Living and suggested Asher Point. And it cost less than half of assisted living.

It was a beautiful facility. Wonderfully decorated with high-end furnishings. The dining room was very lovely Michelle at the front desk was extremely kind, helpful and friendly. Although I think she was moving from the front desk to another position, a few of the aids were rough and unkind occasionally. She was on hospice and passed away in the facility NO ONE FROM THE ADMINISTRATION EVER CONTACTED ME TO SAY THEY WERE SORRY OR THANK YOU FOR LETTING THEM TAKE CARE OF HER OR WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU!. I WAS EXTREMELY ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED ABOUT THAT.

He wasn't nursing home material, YET! It was the only place he could actually afford. The only real complaint we have is the refrigerator is ridiculously small and so low.

We were told we could move in [date removed] this never happened after 4 postponements - but deposits was made last week of Sept and first rent taken out of acct on [date removed] - never got the free lifeline necklace like all the other residents got ? We’ve met some awesome people at meal time-which food has been delicious- met some super staff - lots of activities to keep you busy- overall we love living here but just need the overseer’s to be on the same page when signing tenants up ? Very confusing for sure??

I recently moved my elderly mother and disabled sister 350 miles across the great state of Texas to be closer to me. As selfish as it sounds, I knew that having family closer to them was in their best interest. I am so impressed with all that Asher Point has to offer. Meals, Activities, therapy, maintenance and housekeeping just to name a few. It is as if they are in a little bubble all self contained. But in a great way! I recently hosted a private (family) surprise party for my mom. The staff was all so accommodating and helpful. The family was very happy with the place that mom was in. She feels safe here as well. Looking forward to the remodel and new look.

Our loved one did not participate much in the facility activities and it is pretty expensive, but worth it. Mom passed last year on [date removed] So we are no longer involved with Briarview. Yes, we would recommend Briarview Senior Living to other families. Everyone was very nice. And it was very safe.

So far, my stepmother is very happy! And, she loves the food! We picked them because of the size of the rooms, balcony in every room. Laundry close by. Elevator close by.
