The people at Arden Courts A ProMedica Memory Care Community in North Hills have been nothing but excellent.

My mother's time at Arden Courts - Geneva was a very positive experience. The Ardens Court leadership and staff are competent, kind and caring. They were supportive, quick to listen and responsive throughout my mother's time there. I felt like my mother wasn't just "another" resident but they truly knew who she was and genuinely cared for her. Thank you.

48 hours was all that was given me to keep my Dad safe. He couldn't return home and insurance was making him leave rehab. A Place for Mom made an appointment for me at Charlotte Stephenson Manor among other places. My experience with them was one of understanding, through explanations, and peace of mind. 2 months later that is still my experience. My Dad is well cared for likes the people caring for him. Charlotte Stephenson Manor gets my vote as the best Place for Dad.

Facility is smaller than most but has a quaint feeling. Staff are compassionate and focused on the residents needs.

Arden Courts at White Oak in Silver Spring was so compassionate and caring with my mother who I moved from out of state to their location near me. They knew she was from NYC s would play music she loved from the 1950s as well as older programs she recognized. They did memory-enhancing activities every day and invited the families and staff to join in. My mom was thrilled with her care ans never complained. That says a lot for an older person with memory issues and a lot of their staff and care. If you have a parent or spouse or other relative worth memory issues I strongly recommend Arden Courts. They show so much respect and care for their residents and family members that you wonder how they have the energy to keep caring and performing at such a high level.

The Auberge was the first community we toured and they set the bar very high for levels of care, professionalism, activities and overall friendliness of staff. They went out of their way to answer all of our questions and make us feel a part of their family. Other facilities we looked at couldn’t match everything that The Auberge had to offer and we ultimately chose them for our loved one.

My experience with Arden Courts has been wonderful. I was a caregiver for my mom for almost a year. I understand what the aides go through everyday. They are very attentive and caring to their residents. A home away from home for me. It’s nice to be a daughter again and to enjoy the time with my mom. Couldn’t ask for a better place.

Nursing and activities staff is excellent. Move in was smooth and welcoming with the wonderful help from [name removed]. Memory care staff person went out of her way to create a memory book of my mom's family members. Nurse worked hard to heal my mom's persistent infection and recently my mom regained strength and started using her walker again. My mom told me that everyone was happy for her. When my mom fell previously, I heard about it, but they were not in a panic. When I visited, my mom's room was clean. What I particularly like about Arden is the access to fresh air and walking paths in their back yard. Residents are not locked in and this helps them mentally and physically. I highly recommend this facility to others.

Arden Courts provides a home-like environment that is clean and well maintained. Caregivers are kind and responsive. In comparison to other memory care communities I toured, Arden Courts doesn't over-medicate residents and gives them a lot of freedom to walk around in a beautiful setting, indoors and outdoors when the weather permits. In this way, the experience seems more like assisted living than a typical memory care. The most helpful thing was that they were willing to accept my mom immediately despite behavioral issues and to have the doctor adjust medications after she moved in, and this has been successful. Mom has adjusted well and enjoys the activities more than sitting at home.

The facility is very nice; clean and smelled clean. The security of the residents they have in place is assuring and the staff (it seems) are aware of those who have tendencies to wander away as I noticed they kept in close proximity of them. The staff seemed professional and personable in their interactions. I felt comfortable talking with them. I felt comfortable leaving my husband with them and in their care.

I highly recommend this facility and I would say to anyone with a family member in this area who needs memory care to look at this one first. The staff at The Auberge was well trained and even the agency staff they had to use to fill in were great. I saw staff working together to help people too. I also saw staff going out of their way to be kind and affectionate with people, which was wonderful to see. Communication was excellent and we even participated in the initial treatment planning meeting. My mother in law didn't live long enough for more meetings. The meals were hearty and looked like old fashioned, meat and potatoes type, food that elderly people would love. My mother in law was lactose intolerant and we brought in lactose free ice cream for her, which they kept in their freezer and it was never a problem with them giving her inappropriate food. The Auberge has a very homey, living room look in their main day room with attached dining area that I found very comfortable. Also, instead of one big facility, The Auberge is divided into 4 identical small buildings called cottages and so if someone is moved from one to another, there is no confusion as it looks exactly the same.

Kind, caring, compassionate, dedicated staff members.

The staff and administration at Arden Court were amazing. The head nurse is so very caring along with her staff. The administration is very helpful navigating the water. My dear friend was well love by everyone who took care of her.

My wife and I have been residents of the Auberge for a year. I decided to write another review. I was very frustrated with the Assisted living community when I found the Auberge. I had been turned down by 7 places because I refused to live in regular Assisted Living, and have my wife of 50 years live in Memory Care. When I saw their sign: The Auberge A total Memory care unit, I reasoned that if the total unit was Memory Care, they couldn’t relegate me to assisted living. I was correct. The Executive Director said I would have to adapt to a totally different environment. I acknowledged. We were accepted. The staff is superb. The care givers here all know what to do, how to do it, and have a proper attitude about the residents. As a team, they know the residents are their number 1 priority. If a resident needs help and their assigned caregiver is busy with another resident someone else takes over. There is no “that is not my assignment" that I have seen in 2 rehab units.

I visited approximately a dozen facilities before before I came to Arden Courts. When I visited here, I immediately got the feeling that the staff were there because of their desire to care for and service the residents in needs. The patience, kindess, positive, attitudes and willingness to talk to family when necessary, exhibited by the staff. In addition to that, both [name removed] and [name removed] have been, and still are, overwhelmingly support in helping me adjust to this very difficult decision that I had to make. I am very grateful to everyone who works here-they are not only truly dedicated to servicing to the needs of the residents, but also to the support of their families. I would whole heartedly recommend that this community be considered for placement to anyone in need of help. It is a neat and clean community with a well trained staff- many of them who have worked here for years.

My husband was diagnosed with Dementia and this was the perfect facility for his needs. I'm forever grateful for having him there for about seven weeks.

Arden Courts in Westlake exceeded all of my expectations. I would recommend this facility to others.

All of my siblings and I were very pleased with the care our mother received. People who work with dementia patients have to love what they do to in order to stay at the job long term, therefore longevity of the staff is probably the most important criteria in choosing a memory care facility. Arden Courts had the staff with the most longevity - none of the other facilities I toured compared.

I would say that it was an overall good experience. We picked the Auberge because the conversation with the director was good, it looked clean and well run and it happened to be close to my brother's house.

The facility is small and does not have the feeling of an institutional operation. As you get to know staff and residence it becomes more like a family setting. We have a smaller room with a queen size bed, double dresser, two cushion love seat and two side chairs. It does not feel over crowded and is comfortable when we have visitors. Overall it is very nice.
