My friend toured here for her dad and I tagged along not knowing what to expect. But it was a good place for the people who live there. They have their own room that is already furnished which is nice not to have to pay a mover or have to worry about buying new furniture. They had a game going on and seemed to be having a good time. The staff were friendly and some were outside visiting with the residents in the garden area. Nice place!

I was greeted by smiling faces before my tour even started! I was welcomed and offered coffee and a homemade cookie while I waited. This home was more like someone home, not like a nursing home at all. Everyone was nice and helpful and I met a family member who said her husband has been very happy there and I can see why. I think this place is better than most I have seen and I would say if you are looking into memory facilities, go here and look now. It's really nice place.

This facility was really bright and cheery. It was clean and colorful. I did not expect to see such a welcoming environment and the residents look happy and were smiling! This place was much better than the other two facilities I toured. I would recommend Arden Court in Glen Elyn.

Auberge at SugarLand is a hidden gem. The management team, staff and residents are AMAZING! If you are looking for a new home for your loved ones, this is the place to go. Beautiful community with award winning service.

The room and bedding are always clean and tidy! Truly amazing people who genuinely care. I did not expect that my mom would be interested in the activities but she participates every day (and they do have morning and afternoon activities 7 days/week). They also take those who are able on outings which is a really incredible opportunity

5 across the board. Our family loves Arden courts. I don't think we could have done better and thanks to a place for mom. Long term employees. Nerves of steel dealing with the horrible disease of patients with dementia. Also very secure and peace of mind that there family member is safe.

I would definitely recommend they take a tour and meet the staff. Good coordination with hospice care and specialists too. friendly and quick entry for visits. I observed the staff show a lot of patience with my dad who was not easy in his dementia

As a care provider, I have been to many facilities. Aden Courts Kensington us truly one of the best! The nurses and caregivers are so caring and have been here for many years. I am so confident in the care that my patients receive. They truly care about their patients and only want what's best for them.

My friend of 10+ years lives here and is so happy see smiling faces and feel good vibes there.

[name removed] was great she answered all my questions and was friendly the residents smiled and seemed happy lots of activity happening.

My uncle lived here until he passed away he was happy and well cared for. We are so happy we chose Arden Court when we did.

This facility is lovely, clean, bright and homey. The residents are happy and well cared for.

I toured and was pleasantly surprised it was very homey clean and the staff seemed friendly. I love the outdoor patio. I was impressed.

I toured the community on a Wednesday and they had live entertainment for the residents. The staff were very claiming and friendly and attentive to every aspect of the fact. The marketing director was very helpful. The entire staff were GREAT!!

Arden Court has been a blessing for my family. The program they have chosen for residents supports their physical and emotional needs. The home-like environment allows residents to safely interact within the spaces they are comfortable in. Nurses are accessible and aware of the needs of the residents as individuals and of their needs associated with their health conditions. No place is perfect but any concern we have had has been well received and competently addressed.

My husband’s need for memory care came on suddenly when his Alzheimer’s took a great leap forward. The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable, supportive, and understanding of a very confusing situation for me as caretaker needing to nail down care quickly. Within about two weeks my husband had settled in pretty well (though he still asks when he’s getting out!) ??

They are absolutely great! The staff takes really good care of my Mom. The smaller groups of 15 in each wing seems to work well. Appreciate the staff being so attentive to her needs. The staff takes the time to get to know the residents. Always use their first names-create a welcoming atmosphere. They certainly make it easier for me knowing my Mom is being well cared for!!!!

5 across the board. My mom has had a really great experience living there. It's always clean, the food smells delicious, and everyone seems happy.

Out family is so grateful for having Arden Courts Of Palos Heights to assume the responsibility to care for our family member. Each and every person at Arden Courts were beyond wonderful. Their professionalism, compassion, nurturing and devoted interest in caring for the residents is a gift beyond anyone's’ expectations. Is was a soul healing experience to observe the care given to all residents. We are truly blessed to have been accepted into the Arden Courts family.

1. Overall experience = 5 From the tour last year, to signing the papers, to moving mom in (in a rush!), to the food, the activities, and the caregivers, The Auberge gets an A+ from me. My mom has settled in well, and I can tell that she felt safe and knew she would be taken care of withing the first two weeks of being there. 2. Cleanliness = 4 In general, the facility is always very clean. The dining room is sometimes a little messy, but that's to be understood, depending on when I'm there. If it's right after lunch, I would expect it to be a bit messy after mealtime. But I've never felt like it's "dirty" just crumbs and whatnot. The carpets in the hallway have definitely seen better days and it's obvious that there have been "accidents." But, The Auberge is getting a little updating right now, and they're putting in wood floors, which I know will help with this tremendously. 3. Friendliness of Staff = 5 I love [name removed] . She's always so kind and upbeat in person and on the phone. There's been a lot of change in the last year, but I really like Linsey and think she's doing an excellent job as the new director. I love [name removed] and have had a couple of really nice personal conversations with her. Who doesn't love [name removed] ??? He's so great. I love his persistence in getting my mom to participate in activities, and I appreciate all of offerings both in the facility and outside. There's only been one person that I have not enjoyed interacting with, but I'm not sure she's even still there. 4. Quality of Care = 5 The nursing staff there is top notch and I appreciate that I get phone calls letting me know if something has happened or if mom is not feeling well. I also really like [name removed] , who seems to be a primary caregiver for my mom. She genuinely seems to like my mom and treats her like family. She lets me know when mom is low on bathroom supplies and when she needs anything, like socks, etc. 5. Meals / Dining = 4 When mom first moved in there was an executive chef who made such amazing meals that I almost wished I lived there and could eat that food every day. That person left and I believe was replaced by someone that may have been working in the kitchen. The meals are not the same. I see a lot of the same meals over and over, and every time I see broccoli, it's overcooked. BUT that being said, I'm sure the residents don't remember the meals from day to day, and I see that mom eats most everything in front of her. 6. Activities = 5 My mom has only recently started to participate in more of the activities. I appreciate that there's always something special going on, whether they have a musician come into the facility, or take the residents out to look at Christmas lights in the neighborhood. And there are plenty of regular activities like Bingo, etc. 7. Value for Cost = 4 Obviously, I wish it were a little bit less expensive, but I don't think The Auberge is really any more expensive than other facilities, plus I believe "you get what you pay for." And I'm more than happy to pay the cost to keep my mom happy, healthy, active, and safe. I love The Auberge, because The Auberge loves my mom. She is very well cared-for, and I know that she is safe. The Auberge provides activities and support that I would not be able to do at home. I feel that the staff truly treats her like a family member. The facility is clean, easy for mom to navigate, and I like that they have the residents help to decorate for holidays throughout the year. I know without a doubt that my mom is in the best place. The Auberge is worth every penny.
