We looked all over and had experiences at many places over the years. Arden Courts is head and shoulders above the rest. All of the staff are caring and wonderful. The Activities staff is a game changer, keeping the residents engaged all day. The cleanliness and care staff are also outstanding. A true family. The only place I feel 100% confident and comfortable leaving my Mom.

The staff are all so friendly and helpful. My family loves to sit outside and enjoy the courtyards. So glad we found Arden courts Kensington. Keep up the great work! It is appreciated more than you realize.

From the moment of admissions, Arden Court provided clarity and guidance as our family made the difficult decision to place my mother in memory care. The med-tech team, nursing staff, activities coordinators, maintenance and support staff, absolutely everyone, was professional & skilled and kind & compassionate. Daily, it was simple acts of kindness that seemed to touch our family the most ~ painting my mother’s fingernails, styling her hair or gently caressing her hand to offer comfort. It was witnessing maintenance workers escorting residents safely back to their living areas sharing words of reassurance along the way. Watching med tech’s chit-chat with residents in common areas as though they were neighborhood friends. And ultimately, it is knowing that all of this simple human kindness happened alongside the often-difficult tasks associated with the support of memory care patients. The memory of our mother will forever be linked with the kind spirit of Arden Court’s care.

My wife has adjusted and now seems happy enjoying the activities and loves the food being served. My life now has less stress, knowing she cared for and seems happy being with others. This place also has a nice outdoor area with seating in different locations around the rear of the building, with several access doors. This location is also near I95 which convenient for friends and family to be able to visit.

Lely Palms is an older not as fancy place as some but my mom loves it. They staff are always helpful and willing to help in any way. The food is good. They have constant activities and if you want to stay busy you will! The rooms are nice and they have a decent size patio. My mom is very picky I’m so glad she is happy.

I love Arden Cts. My experience has been great, and I really appreciate the friendly staff, the clean facility, and the quality of care. The only downside for me is the pricing. It feels a bit high for what’s included. The cost covers room, board, food, and personal care, but extras like auxiliary services and personal care products aren’t included, which adds up.

All staff take good care of the residents. A boy scout working for his eagle badge designed and buil raised vegetable and flower beds for residents. The plants were donated. Residents were there to see the end product. How wonderful.

WOW! A place that finally does memory care right. I toured 10 other places for my mom. I started with Arden Courts and ended with Arden Courts. There really is no other place out there that compares to the quality of care they provide. The first time I met with [name removed]and [name removed]I knew I was in the right place. They both really care for their residents, and it shows. All the employees there are so welcoming and helpful. You can really tell the difference. If you're looking for memory care for a loved one, save yourself time and look no further.

I usually volunteer at Arden Courts to do my service hours and every time I go I am well taken care of. I have a great time playing games with residents and connecting with them. Volunteering at Arden Courts of Kensington has been a deeply rewarding and enriching experience. Arden Courts was recommended to my family by a professional assisted living placement service as the premier Memory Care Facility in the Harrisburg area. After our initial visit with Arden ([name removed]), we KNEW that this was the place for my mother. Mom has been at Arden for 6 weeks now. With the level of care, interactive mental and physical activities, pet therapy!, morning and afternoon programs, nutritious meals, and constant engagement from/with the Staff, my Mother is not only safe, content, and happy...she is THRIVING. I could not provide any stronger recommendation than I do for Arden. This Facility - and the wonderful people who care for Mom - have been a true Godsend for my Mother and my family. They were very caring. Room was always clean. Room size was perfect. I know it can't be easy dealing with DEMENTIA patients but some how they managed with a smile and good attitude. My sister couldn't have been an easy one to take care of. She would become violent...I was thankful every day they took such good care of her. Counted my blessings.

My dad needed a memory care facility and I was recommended by my neighbor who had her mom there for a while. I toured and it was much better than I expected. It was smaller than the other places I saw but I liked it better because of it's size. It's not too big and confusing like other places. Its one level and has a beautiful outdoor area that you can go in and out easily and enjoy the weather. It is clean and I like the programs they offer. This is a very good place, you should go see it if you are looking in the Glen Ellyn area.
