I like this place more than I thought I would. It is smaller than most places we toured but the layout seems more manageable and only one floor to navigate. It is a circle lay out and the outside space is very quaint. I recommend it!

The facility is lovely and designed to give residents freedom of movement through the building The residents are cared for by loving and capable caregivers. All of the staff treat the residents with respect. The staff are loving and care for the families of residents. They understand the transition is difficult and provide support.

I have worked with the team at Arden Courts Fair Oaks several times. I am always impressed with how dedicated they are in making sure their residents are well taken care of. I highly recommend this community.

A cut above the rest! Do not make a final selection on a memory community for your loved one until you check out Arden Courts, Kensington. Initial intake efforts are from woman who is the most caring and competent of professionals you could meet. She is the tip of the “iceberg” that reveals an amazingly long-serving team of leaders with over 20 years at Arden Courts, Kensington. The Dockside staff, the facilities and maintenance team, nursing team, meals and nutrition team, administrative staff, activities and events coordinators, all work together like a well-oiled machine. Collectively they understand memory loss and help families to feel supported through the trauma of slow motion loss. The combination of team efforts works quite effectively to bring moments of joy to the residents each day. All staff post on site if a severe storm threatens, particularly in the winter, to ensure that each shift is fully covered. That is one of many ways the staff dedication is quite tangible!

Our father has been a resident for almost 2 years now. We could not have found a more perfect fit for him. The staff is very caring and have welcomed him like family. The entire facility is always clean. Dad is well cared for, he is well fed and always clean. His hair is always cut and combed, which may not be a big deal to some, but he always took great pride in his hair. There are activities for all to engage in daily. Any questions or concerns we have are always met positively and answered immediately. The nursing staff always communicate any needs or changes he has. I would recommend Arden Court to anyone looking for a memory care facility.

[name removed] was so helpful throughout the process. I was able to truly trust the team [name removed] and [name removed] . When I left, I knew my mom was in good hands and never had to worry. The care was exactly what she needed, I wish i had made the move years ago. The garden area is beautiful to visit and the community really feels like home.

i’ve visited five other nursing homes between my mother, father and aunts and uncles, and this is by far the cleanest and the friendliest and the nicest of all of them I’ve ever visited. I was there for about four weeks and the people just couldn’t have been more helpful

I like that it is small and no elevator or flights of stairs. My uncle can't manage steps and would get lost in an elevator. Other places were multiple floors and wide open large spaces with lots of people and that's too overwhelming for my uncle. He prefers small and quaint, with good care and good food. We found all of that here and are pleased with Arden Court. Will reccommend.

We moved my mom to another place in Glen Ellyn and were soon told we had to have a 24-7 care nurse to stay with my mom because she was wondering at night. The nurse team at Arden evaluated my mom and said they could manage her wandering so we moved her to Arden memory facility and she is doing great. We feel mom is safe at this memory facility and she has her own private room. This is a good place for safety since my mom wanders and they have good care.

from the activities to the care, this is the best place I have found for the price. My father in law seems happy and well cared for. My wife looked all around and we are so happy to have found Arden Court!

Mom was in hospital stay and with her dementia we made the decision to move her into Arden Court since she could no longer be at home by herself. She was NOT the easiest resident but with all their kindness helpfulness from aids, kitchen staff, 24 hr nurses, physicians assistants, doctors and management Mom had the best care we could ask for around the clock! It took time but they understood her, accepted her and got her acclimated to enjoy her new home. They were so kind and helpful in helping us the family understand dementia and what to expect as the disease progressed. No it is not easy to have a parent go into nursing facility but the staff at Arden Court was very good and yes I would recommend!

I would recommend Arden Courts above all other. I visited 4 communities and choose Arden. My father is in the best hands its the best decision we ever made. My faith is [name removed]

No words will ever express the outstanding care we received from Arden Court when our mother needed a place that could understand her confusion and pain. The entire staff from office to nurses, aides, maintenance, and culinary were professional and especially kind to her. We highly recommend this facility. Our family will never forget.
