I toured this community. The staff was nice and patient. They were able to answer all of my questions. The community however is larger then what my mom would like. If you want a large community I would recommend this to families wanting good care.

The food was ok and they offered events. The community was clean. The staff were nice and friendly to us. We had concerns due to when we visited our loved one they would not have been bathed and cleaned up. We received mixed and incorrect information as there is poor communication between the staff members. We did not receive the intake results for him until almost 2 weeks later. The person that helped us get him registered there did not let us know they would not be our contact person once he moved in.

I had a pretty decent tour of this community. This is a pretty decent community. There were many factors that played into where to move my mother too. This just wasn't the place for her and her needs. This is a decent community with kind people.

When I toured this community it reminded me more of a small main street with a few shops although I did not see anybody utilizing the rooms that were available. This community is impressive to look at. The staff were nice.

This faciltiy was good but nothing like [Removed]. It's more of what you think of when you think of a 'facility' for memory care. This would be my 2nd choice. The facility is very nice, the layout is good, and they have scheduled activites. However,the day we visited it was obvious they were understaffed. It was very chaotic.

I am stunned at the reviews. After 16 months-I wished I had known. If the primary interest in your loved ones care is having a pet I will pray for you. Silverado should change its marketing approach. They are an acute memory care provider. If anyone has a loved one that requires advanced acute care, meaning strong, high level, advanced dementia or Alzheimer then Silverado is good at what they do. For mid level, mild dementia, their Nexus program is the same as many others. Their business model is impressive, they can double the income on all rooms by cleverly marketing how sharing rooms are better for people with Dementia. Some, maybe, most, never. Maybe it is possible that come one day loved ones may need the advanced care, so to sacrifice now to get to that point is incredible. The care, programming, food and facility is marginal at best and ranking as fair is generous in some aspects. The entire senior staff is in lock step with the the Silverado pitch on how wonderful sharing a room is, how great the food is, how wonderful they "extraordinary" Nexus program is, how great it is to have dogs roaming around, how children make the people happier, how the care staff is the best trained and so loving. Talk is cheap, except here it is very expensive. All of that is offered at many , many, communities. This is institutional care at its worse. A business model unlike any others. Acute care, yes. Anything less, go elsewhere and offer your loved one a better life with dignity, care, comfort, and a better life. I wish I had known the truth and bought into the hype and misleading Champions. There is a reason only a couple people vouch for this place, many leave.

I had both parents at Arden courts. My mother has adjusted well. My father has advanced stages of dementia. The staff had difficulty handling my father's aggressive behaviors. He fell multiple times and had a UTI that went undiagnosed. He ended up in the hospital and will need to be transferred to a nursing facility. This facility is fine for mild cases of memory loss and motor function. They are not equipped to handle complex dementia patients. There was a communication breakdown between us, the hospital and the nursing staff as well. The activities and food are wonderful. Most of the staff is caring.

The staff is so caring and wonderful. Every time I visit my mom someone on staff was always stopping in to say hello and tell me how she was doing. I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands. Linda, the business development specialist is extremely professional and has a sympathetic ear. She's a God send.

My grandma needs an adult Sippy Cup. In order for her to receive one they said the family has to request one. I would like for them to request things she needs when they see things happening instead of waiting for the family to request it. I would also like to see her changed more often than what she is.

Well every time my uncle goes and my brother go they are disappointed. They say that she is out of it every time they go to visit her. I am out of state, so I do not get to see her often, but they are all so upset about it. This is what I am hearing. We are all very concerned.

Great small place for dementia patients. But not enough attentive staff for the patients.b we understand there is a high turnover rate for this type of care but a bit more attention is Needed. House caregivers are great - no bad comments on them for the most part. But new staff isn't well trained. Evening care need more attention. Cost co tinually decreasing without consistent are. Getting too expensive - do not get what you pay for! You must be present continually, especially in the evening, if you care about your loved ones. Medication dispensement and care by attendents is dependent on your presence. Cost keeps rising and service not commensurate. Great activity personel . A few great care givers but not be enough to provide proper care. Caregivers great but need help. Management issue not caregivers, Great underpaid caregivers!

Things are going good so far, here at The Memory Center of Richmond, there is many people on staffing I could recognize, so ill just say the staffing is exceptional. Overall satisfied.

I had my loved one here for a short time. It didn't take very long to realize I wasn't comfortable having them here. I felt like I needed to be there, and decided to find another place. It wasn't the best experience, and I don't think I would recommend them.

Very small rooms. No shower in the rooms. Neighborhood was cute. Nice outdoor walking area. Kitchen / dinning area nice. Staff not very friendly as we walked around.

Again, there are three different buildings where residents would need to be transferred for activities appropriate for their abilities. Also, this is a very expensive place. The livingroom was rather dark.

Overall it has been a fairly decent experience with Silverado Naperville. There have been a couple of small issues here and there, but the place is very nice and clean and the people there are super friendly.

We were only here for a very brief time. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We didn't have any concerns with that. It just wasn't a great fit for the needs we had. The one thing that has been a little frustrating is dealing with the financials. We still haven't gotten any of our money back. They seem to be taking a while to settle the money situation.

The facility is nice with residents of various levels. The outdoor path is very nice. I am not sure this is the best choice for my dad as he is not very social and gets easily overwhelmed with a lot of people. It appears to be a nice facility.

Silverado is huge, and it's absolutely gorgeous. They have every amenity you would ever want. However when I was there for the tour, I saw people in the dining room filling out applications, and I felt that was unprofessional. I also felt like they were strong-arming me. I had barely gotten back in my car and they were calling me wanting a decision.

Althea is wonderful. Warm, caring, knowledgable. Arden Courts isn't 'big' enough though.
