Arden Courts has the most comprehensive activities for memory care that I've found. This is what memory care is all about for me. They have excellent nursing and care in my opinion. There are activities from 9:30 am to 7 pm except for meal times. They have a wide variety of physical activities, games, discussions, and exercises that are available.

My mom lives at this facility. Her biggest complaint is the food. She has IBS, and there were a lot of cottage-related foods which upset her. Lately, since COVID she complains about the quality. Cookies burned at the bottom. And maybe some of her complaints can be justified and maybe some are her perfectionism. Food at this stage of life needs to be enjoyable, as there is little joy in her life.

We did a tour with this community and it was very nice. The tour was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information to consider. The community was very nice and they were very accommodating to us.

Our tour of Arden Courts went well. They are undergoing a major renovation to their facility which will update it nicely. For us, the cost was out of our range. We did like the cottage style approach.

90 assisted residents. memory care different building next door. good healthcare w/nursing, doctor, continual evaluations. nice dining & happy hour locations. outside patio w/BBQ maybe move in negotiable.

They have been very concerned about covid and they are great about making sure that everything is clean so they can keep residents safe. My mom is quite satisfied with the food and the variety is improving, but the other residents have said the quality of foods have declined with covid. I think they are working on bringing things back and improving the quality of food as well. It is quite affordable and they give residents the most they can for their money. I think that it would be helpful if they could provide landline phones to residents that would make communication easier because the way the building is constructed, cell phones do not get good service in there. There has been a little issue with maintenance related things, sometimes requests get lost in the shuffle. One of the maintenance guys is extremely friendly and personable. They are making good efforts and my mom has made some friends. One thing that impressed me about her independent living apartment is that she has a full sized kitchen with all full sized appliances which I did not find in any others that we looked into. She has made an excellent transition and I would absolutely recommend them to others.

I toured Arden Courts of Largo and is is a very nice, smaller facility. When we were here they actually were the ones who suggested rehab for my loved one so we took their advice, they were very helpful.

Everything was good, and they were very informing as expected. The staff were very nice, the people were very accommodating and professional. We liked everything about them, they came off extremely genuine and acted like your extended family. They were caring and truly wanted to make every effort in our loved ones stay positive. However our loved one was only there three days before he passed. Our issues was with their 3rd party prescription drug pharmacy, that portion was not disclosed to us, and in the future they need to explain that party better and go into more detail to current and future clients.

Our family did a virtual tour and everything went well, we had a good experience. We were able to get a good idea of the facility not being their in person. Looking through the zoom call it seemed like the community was new and modern. The only reason we did not choose it was because we found a community that was closer in location, and more convenient for our family.

The cleanliness of the community is absolutely top notch. The friendliness of the staff members has never been better and we have not had a problem with the care services. From our understanding the food is pretty good, and they do offer activities however our loved one just does not participate in them.

There is a good deal of the community that is not high functioning. The staff is so friendly and attentive. communication between the staff and our family is very good. I would recommend this community to someone who is further along in memory care.

The staff is very friendly and the facility is easy to get around in. They have a nice garden and a nice area to spend time outside. They have had a good covid plan and have done a great job keeping the residence safe and if you call they are quick to return your call, I would recommend this community to others. There is a language barrier with some staff and it can be hard to communicate but we are working on that.

This facility has a good reputation which is a good thing, they had everything necessary to take good care of our loved one. They have a doctor, a psychiatrist there and people who solely specialize in the care for dementia patients. We have been able to visit recently and the food looks to be good but nothing that really stands out. Sometimes it does seem like they are understaffed especially on the weekends.

We liked the layout of this facility and [name removed] was very helpful. The outdoor area was great and the ability to move about was good. It was very clean but the rooms had single beds and were a little compact.

Our contact was [name removed] and we spoke on the phone, face to face and then [name removed] did a walkthrough a model area with her tablet so we could see the setup, rooms, etc. Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions we were unable to see any caregivers interacting with residence nor were we able to see how clean an actual active area is. We did like what we heard from [name removed] but asked that they call us when the COVID laws ease up so we could do an actual walkthrough.

I highly recommend this community. I thought my loved one was well taken care of at the community. The community didn't have enough staff in the dining room to assist the residents. I feel the community was helpful for the short amount of time my loved one was there. This is a great place for those needing assisted living.

I would tell my friends that as far as memory care, this is one of the better communities. They are more inclusive. The community has a monthly rent that covers everything. The fact that they do memory care is a definite plus. They are able to assist the families and residents with memory care issues. You are not locked into a contract. You can come and go with the contract. There isn't a high buy in, I believe what they ask for is the first month's rent. My loved one has been there for about a year. We are happy during the COVID pandemic. They have been good at looking over my loved one. They have been following all the protocols.

Our family toured this facility, and we were extremely happy and pleased. This community was only a couple years old at the time. We really liked how it looked super cozy, it was very bright and had a warm feeling to it. We immediately sat down with the marketing director to place our loved one here. Everyone was very friendly, it was kept very clean. It was not depressing looking, and it didn't look like a nursing home. It had a nice kitchen area, dining room and a living room Our loved one was in the memory care facility for just a couple of months. The overall value of this community is good. Everyday there was something going on for the residents, they did a good job trying to keep everyone busy and involved.

I've not being able to get in to see my loved one and it was hard. The staff was helpful at times. It was hard to get a hold of the staff and loved one during COVID and prior to her passing. I wasn't able to go into the community due to COVID.

We chose Arden Courts of Annandale because at the time my wife was in an acute care facility. What impressed me was the recruiter and the manager took it upon themselves to go over to the facility my wife was at just to get to know her. The manager [name removed] was very involved with her residents. The room size we had was adequate for one person. My favorite part about the facility is the staff and the access to be able to visit, it was very convenient.
