My brother enjoyed a bbq this past weekend as well as they had a barbershop quartet come and sing. I have had some minor issues with the staff ordering supplies and not notifying us but we are working on resolving this issue. The caregivers are very nice. I have not yet eaten there but my brother likes the food. The community is very well maintained. I also wanted to thank A Place for Mom for their help in this process.

Arden Courts is a state of Art Alzheimers residence. Remarkable set up. The only problem is the communication between staff members with a crucial issue that can affect the residents overall medical condition besides the memory disease. Turnover in staff is moderate to high seeming they only have one sector open. Most of the caregivers are truly caring to the residents. I believe education would improve the overall scenario. I'm truly glad we moved my afflicted parent to Arden Courts from a unit that care was disgusting and most residents walked around parched because staff believed if they need a drink they'll ask. So sad because these people can't ask due to their disease and the residents were not checked during the night per staff members response when asked. Country Meadows is a place I wouldn't put my dog and I often think of those poor people in that secured unit and pray for them.....

When we first placed our mother at The Memory Center we were hopeful that it would be perfect for her. While it has not always been perfect, the staff's effort to make it so is very obvious. The care and affection shown to the residents by the employees is heart warming and genuine. The activities are appropriate and fun. The food is sufficient but seems a little bland at times. Overall, our loved one is looked after in a warm, secure and healthy environment.

They are caring for my wife here and I am very pleased with everything this community has done for us. The community is clean and my wife's room is always clean when I visit.There is always someone ready to help to you and someone is always looking after the residents to make sure they are safe. They have a very well trained staff with good food.

Great care, although concerning that cost creep is a major concern. Facility is wonderful, team of caregivers are wonderful and attentive. Salon in Arden Court facility is pricey and overused without instructions given.

Overall the community is satisfying, except for this one thing: facility is Understaffed. Caregiver/resident ratio is too low. Need more capable, solid caregivers!

Mom was quite content and happy there. She enjoyed the people, the many activities, and the staff. She commended on numerous occasions "these girls would do anything for me." There were a few times when she was unhappy with response time when she had been toileted and left there alone too long. the nurses were wonderful except on one occasion when there was a miscommunication. Overall we felt her care was excellent.

Very nice memory care facility.

Truly awesome place. Really nothing negative to say. A bit too expensive for what residents actually get...could get a private room, superior in quality, with just as good care from Sunrise at Cinco Ranch.

I am a volunteer at Arden Courts, Glen Ellyn. I have been a visitor for almost two years and think AC is a wonderful place. The caregivers have the biggest hearts and you can tell how much they care for their residents.

Wonderful directors, caring nurses, most caretakers very good, Residents are clean, fed well, sometimes weekend staff seems short, I would like to see more crafts than memory games, live entertainment great, music memory could be updated another generation, I would recommend this facility

My mother resides there and I feel that she receives good care. Sometimes I have to question certain things with staff. I do feel that she is safe, warm, and comfortable right now.

The girls who run the activities are excellent. They have a hard job. The caregivers do their best in some difficult situations. I'll give them credit. The nurses do their best too, when trying to handle frustrating situations. Patients are always clean, well fed, and entertained. But there is still no place like home and it's painful having families separated.

The property is in great shape. It is always clean. They do a really good job there but could improve. The people are absolutely wonderful. They are loving, caring and kind. They could improve on the activities, they seem a little disorganized.

So far, things seem to be going well at Arden Courts. The staff is friendly and professional and the building and rooms are kept fresh and clean.

Our experience with Arden Courts was very brief, but it was a positive one overall. The staff I met were friendly and professional, and they did their best to look after my loved one and keep her comfortable while she was here.

Arden Courts of Northbrook is going well. I really like the place. My mom is not to the point where she needs a nursing home and this facility is kind of in between. Everyone is really nice. The place is nice and clean, no smells. She is still adjusting. It is smaller than the previous facility that she was at, which makes it nice. Things seem to be going very well.

Too big and pricey - but nice place - not good fit for Mom.

Mother has required increased assistance during the last six months. The staff has been very caring and has made every effort to provide for her physical, mental and emotional needs. The caregivers, med tecs and nurses work hard on a daily basis. Anita Vincent was always available to give me information, advice and support. She never pressured me and was truly understanding. I am very sorry that she is no longer with USMC. Richard and the housekeeping staff keep the facility clean, attractive and inviting. They did all the work involved in moving Mother to Willow. The kitchen staff does a good job with the meals and snacks. My only complaint is that the administrative and nursing staff has had many changes since March 2015. A stable staff provides the best environment for residents and the family members.

Overall things are good at Silverado Brookfield. They have dogs and cats and live bands that come in. I think that is really neat. The only thing I don't like about this facility is she doesn't get the same caregiver as often. At the previous facility she was in she would have the same caregiver five times a week. It was nice because they really got to know her specific needs. It was nice having one contact specifically to go to. Overall it has been a good experience. I like this facility because they are primarily treating dementia and Alzheimer's patients.
