Arden Courts offers all the expected services and does very well in all of them. Very friendly and communicative staff. My favorite thing about this facility is that they don't feel the need to involve me in the mundane, day-to-day decisions, which has been a great relief for me as a caregiver. You can be as involved as you want to be -- no pressure from the staff to be involved. The activities they provide for the residents are A+.

I feel it was the best experience for her and us as her family. They had lots of activities to keep her busy and games to keep her mind sharp. The therapy was top notch. They were encouraging and tough at the same time. My Mom unfortunately didn't get to stay beyond a month. The Lord called her home too soon. We will miss her and the loving care she received at Springhouse. I would recommend to others.

It's a wonderful place. They took very good care of my Mom. The Staff communicated with me very well, when my Mom was sick. I would highly recommend it to others. The staff tries to make it feel like home.

Well organized caring community. Good interaction. Staff is very responsive. My loved one is well cared for. I would recommend this community to other families.

It's been a wonderful experience so far. The communication has been good and yes, they are taking good care of my mother. I would recommend to other families. It's worth being on the wait list for your loved one.

Our family over the weekend had an in-person tour with the Charlotte Stephenson community, and by the looks of the community and the atmosphere it was very nice, but the reason we did not choose it for our loved one was because of the price. It was just too expensive.

My loved one is a resident at Arden Courts. I've never had the food, so I can't rate it. The staff is friendly. The facility is always clean. My loved one always looks clean. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My father himself regards Arden Courts very favorably. He has said many times without being prompted that "the ladies are very nice, the food is good, the place is clean and I'm sleeping well." This of course, is music to my ears. I will add that I find the staff to be very friendly and supportive of the residents. My father hasn't participated my yet -- more encouragement would be welcome and even providing the monthly schedule to him would be helpful.

I toured with Arden Courts in South Holland and it was an extremely nice facility, but unfortunately it is just too expensive for what my friend was going to be able to afford for herself.

Overall, I am very happy with warmth of the community, the executive director and just the overall vibe of the facility. I am glad my loved ones are there! It's a small place and I feel that my loved ones are doing great there thanks to many wonderful staff. But institutional life has its downsides of course. Even high end, expensive memory care facilities should be better staffed, and there should be more staff training. That said, I think the overworked underpaid employees are by and large doing the very best that they can! I have become very fond of many of the caregivers working with my loved ones.

Our family had an in person tour with Arden Courts of ProMedica Memory Care and we found the staff members to be very friendly, and it seemed like there was a lot of activities for the residents to do.

My loved one does not like the food, it's too bland. They don't offer activities geared towards my loved one. Sometimes they don't follow through with ideas. They need to be more aware of the comings and goings of the residents. The staff is nice and they do their best but they need staff that is more attentive to the residents that may tend to wander around the facility.

The atmosphere is good, not depressing or hospital-like. Laundry can improve. Things do disappear from my loved ones room by other patients. The laundry can improve.

Very good experience. Good people working there, and the current management is investing in the community (new roof, cameras).

I want to add there are wonderful aides there that are employees of Arden Courts and then there are Agency people(temps)not so good. Did not feel the nursing staff was good, besides 1 or 2 people. Most were very indifferent to patients falling. Example: my mom fell, hit her head/eye area, nurse was called, looked at it and left. I had to ask the aide for an ice pack and I held it on my mom's eye. There was a lack of sympathy there. Another example was mom had a raging fever and when I got there in the morning she had been left that way all night with no treatment. The aides are supposed to check in on the patients but at night allot of the care was not good. Daytime was much better, some very quality people. Not enough aides per patient but I'm told that's a federal thing. Also there are no help I've fallen bracelets or necklaces and my mom did fall and lay by herself, I found her once, my dad found he once and another patients son found her once. So in summary they should legally HAVE to have a button to push for help at all times. Also top manager did not seem empathetic, and when she showed up after my mom died came across fake. I know nursing homes are not great and I was told by hospice that this was one of the best so.....what can I say. I also felt I needed to be there constantly unless certain aides were on duty.

My loved one enjoys the variety of the food options. There has been a recent price increase. The care during the day is better than the care at night. They need to be more aware of the caregivers on the night shift.

The community is one of the best places I have been too because the staff involvement with the patients.

The cleanliness and the warmth of this facility stood out to us. It was like a timeshare resort to feel at ease. I like that it was dementia specialized focusing on independence with safety. The staff was friendly and engaging. They had an activities director and she had lots of activities. Cleanliness was very good. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Arden was my second choice.
