I received a lovely welcome from the sales person at Arden Court and was given a complete story of the background of the company and the current location. It was very satisfying to see the number of people who have beenat Arden Court for many years, which speaks favorably to their retention rate. While the rooms are small, there are open spaces and places for residence to enjoy life outside of the bedrooms. I love the idea that residents can walk outside on a path around the complete structure that give them a feeling of freedom. The community seems very welcoming, and it is admirable that they are not seeking to constantly add additional charges to the base price.

[name removed] was very accommodating and accomplished in answering questions. Looked like a lot of staff involved. Rooms neat but a little on the small side compared to what I remember my MIL had. Seems a little pricey but I’ve been out of the market for a while. Overall good presentation.

The facility is very generic but help is nice and facility is clean.

The staff - from the office to the cottage to meal times and personal care- really seem to care what happens with my mom. I appreciate that attention for her when I cannot be there.

Now my dad was there for hospice care but even with that this is not checking in every few mins or a hospital setting by any means.. my dad was worst of than most.. so I will say if you were going to move there and were able bodied and Independent which most residents are, than yes this is a wonderful place Overall I still felt like my dad got good care and most took really good care of him.

Food is great, staff are caring, but the ratio could be better so oversight is even better. I showed up one day to see my Mom and she was in a wheelchair being pushed very fast by another resident. My Mom doesn't use a wheelchair. It is hard for very competent staff when there aren't enough staff. Cleanliness was amazing. My mother was only there for two weeks before she died. It would have been much better if there had been more cooperation between hospice and Arden Courts, I could have avoided some of the very difficult things I had to deal with after my mother died. But, I would highly recommend. The place where my Mom was in Easton was far inferior in every way. The folks in the front who manage Arden Courts are extraordinarily kind and competent. Staff really care and the design is wonderful for people who have memory issues. It is immaculate and the food wonderful. The kitchen is cleaner than my own. Please ensure you have end of life care finalized. There was confusion between hospice and Arden Courts at the end that resulted in me having to a lot of things that I did not have to do for my father. And keep an eye on staffing ratios--these are very hard jobs and you need enough people.

Nice place, clean and light. Outdoors is very attractive and handy and finally, the staff seems very friendly and positive.

It is a nice facility - very clean. I can't comment on the staff cause I was in the hospital and at home recovering. It is a bit expensive but if that isn't an issue, then I would recommend them to others.

like the overall design with the 4 distinct "neighborhoods" each with its own dining area, TV lounge and courtyard. Also like that it is a smaller facility with fewer residents than other places I toured and is memory care only. Research showed that while very pricey a lot of the money is being invested back into staff development. After a month and a half, my mother seems happy and is NOT secluding herself in her room. She is spending the majority of the day interacting with staff and other residents It was also very close to where i live.

I like they had their own wings, so it wasn't so intimidating and hard to negotiate. Also, that they specialize in dementia. Yes I would recommend.

I visited this facility with my adult daughter. We both enjoyed our tour and were impressed with the facility. The experience of the facility and its personnel with patients needing assistance with memory care was particularly significant and persuasive to me.

The place is nice and they keep the residence busy with activities. The expense is what other families should know about. I would recommend to others.

The staff is nice. Sometimes they are hard to find, when needed. The food is pretty good. We have had many items misplaced, which is normal. I just don't understand when they do laundry they don't check the names in the clothes. For the monthly fee, I would expect more staff and more activities. I love the fact that the center is a circle and you never walk into a wall. The rooms are ok.

Because it was clean, odor-free and the staff were very nice. I would recommend Arden. But my experience with them was limited because my husband died there within a few weeks.

I would rate my overall experience 4 stars out of 5. It would have been 5 out of 5 but they just raised their prices by $[removed]k a month. I feel like it's very well run and the staff are knowledgeable. They know my grandmother well and treat her kindly. She likes it there and feels comfortable. I wish it was more affordable.

Comparing Arden Courts to [community removed] (recent experience with my father in law). Arden courts is better (cleaner and resources - both skilled and non-skilled). Food service was good also. The admin side of this was much better at Arden, compared to [community removed].

When the hospice nurse left, no one took charge of his medication. Night staff had no idea. Barked at to get off the floor. I was sleeping. I didn’t know hospice was leaving that day, and couldn’t leave him to die alone. Offered no other solution. But when they need our things I always help them out.

Positive- small size, personal service Negative- activities lacking on weekends and evenings Many levels of memory care mixed together.

The best part of Arden court for [Name Removed] was the Brighton hospice care. They were exceptional. Some of the caregivers were above and beyond. However, was not enamored with the new management. Perhaps it's like that everywhere now as it is such a big business. I prefer warm and fuzzy, but that's hard to come by I guess. Can't give it a five because of the management. Will give it a four for most of the caregivers.
