Loved the place, everyone seemed very nice, was very thankful that they picked up on a broken hip within the first 34 days of being there, which was from a previous home, but was not happy that they wouldn't take him back after the hip was replaced. But kept the money that had been spent when he was only there four days.

My loved one passed away a day after moving in. I can tell you that the administration was friendly and helpful, especially after my wife's death. My experience with the care staff was limited. Some seemed very caring and friendly, others more distant and interested only in the TV. But hard to tell from just a couple of days. I do wish my wife's room had had a working call button, though it might not have made a difference.

Although the facility isn't the prettiest or updated, the care there is pretty good. The staff are kind and interested in the residents lives. They know them well, and have good communication with the families. I feel my mother is in good hands.

While our loved one was there she liked it and they were al great. We were very happy with them for the time that she was there.

[name removed] passed away last March. They were very caring and took great care of her. I feel that the close attention they give to their residents was amazing. One of the caretakers there treated mom as his own. Called her mama.

I feel like my mom is well taken care of. They do have trouble with staffing like any other place, but the regular people that work there are caring and loving.

What I would say about ARDEN CT Anderson is that the key full-time people are fabulous and the ongoing activities are what is keeping my Mom there. They have wonderful intentions but are understaffed. All the residents are memory care and the setup is wonderful for them. Some of the agency people seem to care but still seems to be a breakdown of communication sometimes and sometimes the agency people are not as motivated or as engaged with the residents to ensure ALL THE NEEDS ARE MET. FOR EXAMPLE: Most residents need help toileting and eating. There are not enough checks for those things. The full-time people and trainers are spread thin.. WONDERFUL PEOPLE it is CLEAN, secure and well maintained for residents not for visitors which is best.

Everyone at Arden Courts Northbrook is VERY caring. This facility is head and shoulders above [facility name removed] where my loved one was at previously. But, communication with psychiatrist about meds has been difficult.

It has been a good experience overall! There have been a couple of people who were not very attentive, but over the past couple months, it has gotten better. Overall, most people were very helpful transitioning my mother to assisted living. What stood out to me was that the facility was well taken care of (clean and didn't smell bad) and the director was wonderful in helping us with paperwork and answering all our questions. The amenities (salon, in house pcp, podiatry visits etc) also were also important as my mom cannot get around very well.

All staff members are caring and very helpful. Looking forward to more time in the nice courtyard as the weather allows as we moved dad in to Auberge in November.

They specialize in dementia care. Especially with patients with behavioral issues. Therefore, families should be prepared to possibly see behaviors that might be upsetting. However, if this is something you need for a loved one, they are experts in managing.. My loved one passed away in November, but we were very happy with the care he received at Arden Courts.

There is a beautiful, safe, and accessible outdoor space for the residents to use whenever the weather is suitable. Residential area is arranged in four pods, each with its own kitchen, dining, and living rooms. This provides for a more home-like feel than a facility with multiple floors and long hallways to navigate.

Our Father was welcomed into the facility by all of the staff. It is a very friendly and "home-like" environment. He feels comfortable and has stated several times how the kitchen staff "treats me like part of their family"

We have found management to be very responsive to our concerns regarding our mother. Mom has said that she finds the staff and everyone to be very nice and so do we. although I haven’t eaten a regular meal here, our mom has said she’s very happy with the food. Occasionally, I have seen a sandwich for dinner’s main course which I thought was not very appropriate for them and kind of hard to eat but other than that occasional occurrence, the meals seemed very well planned and mom seemed to like it. The nurses are very helpful with any concerns you may have with your loved ones health and are quick to notify the doctor if needed. Most of the activities provided seem to hold mom‘s interest and the staff is very helpful with the residents during these sessions. Sometimes the laundry gets mixed up with other residents but usually the staff can locate the lost clothes. We would definitely recommend you consider Arden Court if your loved one needs the memory care services that they provide

Everyone I've dealt with on the staff has been very friendly and responsive. They're quick to reach out and give me updates on things as needed.

I'm glad I chose Arden Courts for him. Because he was quiet and seemingly content, I think he was overlooked at times. Not mistreated just overlooked. Especially Sunday evenings when AC was extremely understaffed. I happened to be there a couple of times and it was a bit worrisome to watch what was and was not going on. I think the nurses and aides in the wing where he was located might not have been as professional as in the other wings. That was my impression. I walked to the other wings and didn't sense the turmoil I observed in Bill's wing. I didn't want to move him because the day nurses all knew and liked him. He seemed comfortable there!

Overall experience has been good. There were a few hiccups at the beginning, but got them ironed out.

Overall my mother in law was cared for. I was happy with the staff on the floor. Everyone at A Place for Mom has been helpful.

At times dining areas had new food stains on table or chairs and occasionally my moms bathroom has stains on floor/toilet/lid. The staff has been wonderful, no lacking of care ever seen.
