My mother has been at this community a little over 2 months now and we loved it, it is a good place for her. They take excellent care of her we finally have the peace of mind that she is being well taken care of. I think the thing that stands out the most is their communication. The director, front desk lady, caregiver, nurse, and doctors have all communicated very well with us. This place is truly very different from the place she was at before.

My mother is doing just fine at this facility! The staff is exceptional! They seem to genuinely care about residents and their families. If anything, the facility can work on the flavor and variety of their meals, but overall, I am pleased with the facility!

We are lucky my aunt can afford such good care!

We liked this community for the great care. The staff is outstanding and helpful to his needs. The meals are good and he is happy with them all. They try and keep him active with the activities and he seems to enjoy participating. We recommend this community for everything that is offered.

we have had our loved one for a year and a half at arden. Over that time we've gotten to know the staff quite well. They are always courteous and responsive. Most importantly, there is a loving attitude with the residents, even when times get tough ( which can be a daily occurrence). What's also evident, is that a respectful decorum is upheld with residents who are challenged in ways that are truly difficult and uncomfortable, and at times embarrassing.

Arden Courts really came through for us when we had to put our Mother in Respite care due to the sudden illness of her full time caregiver. They made the whole experience so easy and timely. They worked with us throughout her stay to make sure she was happy and content. Our family can't say enough about the kind and caring treatment our Mother received while she was with them.

My husband has been eating well and likes the food. The community offers activities and outings. He is still getting use to place. The staff are easy to work with and they provide the right care. He is doing well so far.

Just moved my parent in - very hard to do. The director is great and very helpful. Feeling very good about the place.

When I received a call informing me that I would have to quickly move my wife from the facility where she was staying (due to containment issues), I almost panicked. A chance request to "A Place for Mom" put me in touch with Linda at Arden Courts in Glen Ellyn. Linda reassured me they could accommodate my wife and do it very quickly. Within a few days, my wife was accepted at Arden Courts. From the time I entered the facility, I knew that it was very well maintained. And, after meeting Linda and the staff, I knew my wife would be treated well. Although my wife only stayed for a short time while our house was made safe for her, we were treated like long term residents. I have recommended Arden Courts, Glen Ellyn, to several acquaintances and will continue to do so.

My wife has been a resident at Arden Courts for 5 months. I believe it's a wonderful place due to the excellent, caring staff. I was concerned about my wife's placement in any facility due to her younger age (58). Of the 4 places I checked out, Arden Courts of Northbrook was the best. It's always clean and is an open, spacious environment. The staff gets to know your loved one, family, and friends right away. They encourage family participation in resident activities and interaction with other residents and their families. Arden Courts feels like a family home, not a "facility". The staff is well cross-trained. When my very active wife was restless and needed more exercise, the building services coordinator walked with her and did yoga. When an issue arises that I have an issue with, the Executive Director takes immediate action to remedy it. She is on call at all times. My wife generally likes the food. I do, however, bring in lunch and dinner periodically. The staff makes sure that I have 2 place settings and a private room for my wife and I to share the meal together. Arden Courts may not be a fancy place with chandeliers and fireplaces, but it has a homey quality about it with caring staff.

Silverado Sugar Land is a wonderful, caring memory care facility. Varied activities are offered all day long, stimulating the spirit, mind and body. The dietician bends over backwards to provide tasty meals for my mother, who needs bland pureed food. No one goes hungry here, as snacks and beverages are offered throughout the day. Much of the caring staff have been employed here for years, a good sign at any business. Families are encouraged to visit, and the employees can bring their children. So combined with the therapy animals and children running up and down the hall this Christmas season, the facility felt more like a complete community than an "old folks home!" Hallways are bright, wide and airy, and there are walking paths outside. And the place is clean. love it.

The staff there was so wonderful. I witnessed Darlene( staff) feeding a resident with such compassion, I almost cried. The staff was talking to the resident while feeding her, asking how her day was, how nice she looked and never acted like it was a chore. My Mom was dressed every day and even had her hair "styled", courtesy of Claudia(staff) Which made her feel special. I have only one regret. that I didn't find this wonderful place for her sooner. I enjoyed every visit with her in this beautiful place with all of the surroundings. There are safe places outdoors with bird feeders that she could wheel around and get some different views. There was a family setting in the T.V. room that had a fireplace and many recliner chairs- even quilts were supplied if she or others were chilly. There was peace in this place that gave both Mom and me comfort. The meals were wonderful as well, The residents ate in their own kitchen area with linen table clothes and real dishes, not plastic. This I am sure made all the residents feel like they were really at home.

My experience US Memory Care- Vintage overall has been pretty great. From the care givers all the way to the management team are pretty nice. My mother enjoys the daily activities and loves the food. She's made many new friends and likes her new apartment. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a home for their mom or dad to go visit US Memory Care- Vintage.

It is working out very well at Arden Courts of Northbrook. I like their staff. Their programs are good. You can get involved in as much or as little as you want. They have good communication. They cook all the meals, they clean. We went to a Halloween party there recently and it was really nice. They really try to get the residents involved.

I toured here when I was looking. It was a nice place, with wonderful amenities. They were comparable to my first choice place, and even less expensive. I chose my first choice community in spite of the price difference, because the depth of knowledge presented here was not quite as good as my first choice place.

The staff at Silverado Onion Creek need to have more communication among the administration. No body there seemed to know what was going on. I took mom out of this facility.

Staff and administration very nice and extremely supportive. Listen to needs of resident and family. Excellent place.

Within a few days of my mother moving into The Memory Center, most of the staff knew her name. Whenever I walk in I hear about my mother gardening, dancing, or walking with others at the center. She has adjusted to the facility very quickly. I highly recommend The Memory Center.

Overall I think they do a great job at Linden Village of Lebanon. The caregivers are lovely, and for the most part do a great job looking after my loved one. They really did an excellent job during her transition to this community, she had an emergency while we were out of town and they had to coordinate with the hospital to get her moved in without any help from us, and they did a great job. The one complaint I have is that I wish some of the memory care staff would be a little more careful about what they say around my loved one. She is more aware than some of the other memory care residents, and sometimes the aides talk about things around her that upset her. But overall it is a very nice place, and I would highly recommend it!

I read the reviews and I think the family members should be ashamed of themselves. Dementia and Alzheimers is a difficult disease. It is hard to accept that the person suffering from this disease will require more care than an assisted living can offer. My mother has been at this community for 9 months. I will agree, there has been many changes. The COO has not turned a blind eye, she is the one making the changes. In business, this is how it works. Anita is there every day and works long hours. She took my mom for a walk outside just today. My mother has declined. She requires more care and has become very difficult. The Executive Director and the new nurse had a meeting with the our in house doctor to discuss her care. I listened and I learned and I took the recommendations. It wasn't fair to the other residents that my mother was becoming violent but I had no knowledge on this disease. My mother gets great care at this community. [removed]
