My mother was there and that was very good. I liked everything about it. The only problem was Silverado is an Alzheimer's/memory care facility and my mother doesn't have Alzheimer's. We put her there because we knew she would get good nursing care. She had 3 stokes and a heart attack and there were RNs giving the meds and people really assessing her on a daily basis. Once she started to get better and became aware that she was in an Alzheimer's facility she got very depressed. She really had good care and the activities were amazing! They saw Bewitched the musical and had tickets to the Ringling Brother's Circus. They did all sorts of awesome things. The place was very clean and the care was really best you could ever hope for.

I absolutely love it. They have a bunch of people running around in diapers so it's as clean as they could possibly keep it. They allow people to be at their best through a god awful disease so I think they've got it perfect. For my father, the fact that it's a gated community is huge.

This is a beautiful facility and yes, i can see my relative living in this facility. The advantage is that it is very close to my home and I can visit nearly daily. The disadvantage is that the pricing is very high. I am awaiting feedback on the availability of a one bedroom unit.

We were made aware of Manorcare at Lely Palms through A Place For Mom. They identified a number of places in the Naples area, but we ended up chosing Manorcare because they offer a full continuum of care.

Very satisfied. I don’t think they have enough activities, but it might because I am not around. Pretty scenery. There is no odor, that’s one of the main things I was looking for. My husband is clean and well kept. Various members of the family feel like we chose the right location for him.

56 people in community. Pure memory community. 4 'houses' 14 people each. Dining in separate dining room. 3 full meals. Bedroom with 'powder rooom'. Full bath/shower within house not room. 1 level house. Nurses 24/7. Drs come to facility. Charge if they have to go out. Shared all inclusive. Furnished. Can bring own furniture. No refrigerator in room. Can bring one. They can go into 'house' refrigerator.

Very nice facility. Staff fully involved with residents. The Director is a credit to the facility. She seems knowledgeable about dementia/Alzheimers. Facility extremely clean, bright and staff seems very pleasant and competent. I like that the facility is divided into 4 sections, thereby making each section more "homey" and personal. Down side is not a Medicaid facility - if we run out of funds, would need to move to another facility. Cost is on par with the other assisted living facilities and is all inclusive except for medications and incontinent needs.

Good experience. Except occasionally nice clothes, shoes and/or jacket(s) can show up missing. Staff will search and sometimes locate the item(s), other times it is just lost. So be sure to make an Inventory with photos and periodically review, plus don't send really nice items. Staff informs you in the beginning, that things can get lost and to therefore be diligent to label and conduct a periodic inventory of everything. Very clean, while closets may have only a few items on the floor (not in a laundry basket if soiled or hung up if considered clean). As a Visitor, you are respected and honored. They even have a K-cup coffee maker and snacks available for Visitor self-service. Everyone is very friendly. Administrative staff - Excellent with quick responses and/or follow ups. Meals/dining - Occasional gooey snacks may at some point become a dental issue. They celebrate holidays with Residents & Family/Visitors and have enclosed accessible courtyards to frequent in good weather. Residents also have a little freedom to walk about the interior area (with Staff guidance if/as needed) - State of IL facilities have higher rates than some neighboring States as a whole. IL facility rates are also above the national average (as everything in IL). So unless you are willing to travel a distance, this is the rate for a nice facility.

The admin staff is very helpful and responsive. Most admin staff and many Caretakers have been there for at least 2 years, which is unusual in the industry. Also unusual, residents have the same caretakers 5 days/week. facility is smaller than most, cozy and homey, as opposed to flashy and resorty. Since AC only has memory care, that's the primary focus of staff and resources. whereas in facilities I've seen with both AL and MC, the MC section has felt, is located and treated as an offshoot. It'd be nice to see some additional and more creative and stimulating activities at AC.

I like living here at Lely palms. The meals and dining could improve a little. But we just got a new person in our dining area. Sounds like a few big things will change. I'm very happy here and doesn't look I'll be moving any time soon.

This facility is great. They check on the residents every hour. The food seems ok. I love that the chef in charge of the kitchen has been there for 15+ years. I've seen her often walking around with freshly baked cookies or other treats for the residents. The activities directors are both wonderful. The program is very structured and I think they do a great job. Housekeeping is good, things are always clean and put away. I'm very impressed with the facility director, the tour guide, and the maintenance director. All 3 of them really have it together. When I'm visiting, they often reach out and ask how things are going. They really have their eyes on what's going on. I've seen them there even on holidays, weekends, and after hours. It just feels very genuine here. I'm happy and mom is happy. The only issue I would mention is that they seem to sometimes be understaffed, but I know that's everywhere right now. I did have an issue with a couple of people from outside agencies that they brought in to help with care, but nothing major. I have recommended this facility to others and will in the future. Of all of the places that I've talked to and seen, I would highly recommend them the most.

We decided on Arden Courts because of the location - it was the closest to me. Also the director and the sales person were phenomenal and still are to this day, if I have any issues they hear me out and make sure things get taken care of. Everyone has been very friendly, you walk down the hall and everyone says hello - it is a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Arden Courts to others.

I think its a really good setup for someone with memory issues, probably the best in the area. The fact that the whole building was designed for memory care was definitely important and I like the way they are setup in houses. In regards to the staff I think everyone really loves their jobs there, they are super friendly. Communication was good to very good, it could be tough at times because there are different shifts, so sometimes you wouldn't necessarily know what was happening unless someone called you in the middle of the night, but that would be the case for any place like this. Overall I would recommend Arden Courts of Old Orchard to others.

It has been good for my loved one so far. I'm confident in the staff and administrators who are there at Arden Courts. Even so, I would encourage families to be involved in the care for your loved one.

We lived at Lely Palms for over 6 years, first in an apartment and now in a villa. The flexibility, staff, activities and especially the outdoor grounds have been good for our needs. A positive experience all around.

It has been just a couple of months but so far they have been very good to our loved one and based on our experience so far I would recommend this community to other.

We haven't had a lot of experience with these types of facilities, so I don't have much to compare it to. Our loved one is still acclimating, and they try to help keep her busy and invite her to all the activities. The staff is great, and it's a great community for memory care support. The activities are constant and varied. They have a lot to choose from and take part in. It's very clean there, although they're in the middle of some renovations right now, but nothing too messy. Our loved one had a sweater turn up missing, so we made a suggestion that the resident doors lock automatically when closed. I would have liked to have seen that from the start, but they did actually install self-locking doors on all of the resident rooms after we brought it up. There's been an issue with unwanted attention from a couple of the male residents who follow our loved one around. Nothing has happened, and it appears to be just dementia-related confusion. We addressed it with the staff, and they made sure the entire staff is aware so they can keep an eye out for it. But essentially unless anything were to happen, there's not a whole lot they can do about it. Overall I think it's a very good facility with great memory care and great staff. I just have some concerns about monitoring of resident interactions.

The Memory Center tour was really great. This would have been our first choice, but they were not able to take mom in her condition.
