we felt very comfortable the minute we walk into this place ,we like the 20 some years of expierence cost was a little higher than others but to me my mom deserves the best also less than 5 minutes from my home

They are doing a great job. The staff is friendly, and the community is nice and clean. We haven't had any complaints about the food or the activities. We feel like we are getting a good value. We just wish we would have found them sooner.

A wonderful place with much to offer. Fits my mother's needs very well. No longer worry that she wanders and could have been a danger to herself or others. The staff treat her very well. I and my siblings could not be happier.

I am pretty happy with it. They do nothing but the Alzheimer's and Dementia care. They are pretty attentive and responsive. The communication with the family is pretty good. There haven't been any complaints about the meals. I like the gardens and the outdoor areas and that they have the bird feeders out, and it's on a dead end street, and a horse farm. It's a nice environment.

I was entirely pleased with the wonderful care that my Mother received at Arden Courts. The staff is amazing and the caregivers have truly earned their name "care giver". I was there very often and only saw compassion and kindness. Mom was there for 15 months and I was able to know everyone quite well and when we knew that her time was coming to an end, I was totally informed of what to expect. The care that my family and I received could not have been better. They really care not only about the resident but the family also.

We toured this community when we were looking into memory care options for our loved one. This is only based on what I saw during my brief tour of the community, but overall I thought the place looked very good! It was clean, the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional, and the care they provided looked good. It is worth taking a look at if you are looking into care for a loved one.

The facility was clean, the patients seemed to be happy. The staff was very professional yet personable. The tour of the facility went well. We would live to be a part of the family there but it is out of our price range at this time.

The employees are very caring and compassionate . My mom has adjusted well. There are many activities available . All residents are included. Stimulation and socialization are the key and The Memory Center does an excellent job. The food is very good. My mom comments on how delicious it is frequently. As for cleanliness , second to none . Again my mom says how beautiful the " apartments" are. I would highly recommend a visit if you have a loved one with memory issues.

By far, my favorite place in the tour. Very clean, organized and friendly. I 'popped in' a few times unannounced and found Silverado as friendly and clean as the time when I came on a scheduled tour. Fabulous for dementia care. The staff has excellent training and the home always has a fun atmosphere.

I did a great deal of research and toured numerous facilities before choosing Silverado in Brookfield. It was a heart wrenching decision. Silverado embodies a unique and marvelous philosophy - to "give life" to their residents. Staff strive to understand and meet the physical and psychological needs of each resident. Their top notch medical care, degree of compassion and staff professionalism exemplifies this. The building and grounds are beautiful; residents have options to join a group, relax with their families or sit privately in a variety of areas both indoors or outdoors. Family members are kept informed of any concerns or changes and are welcomed and encouraged to visit and participate in events. The heartache of watching my father fade away remains but I am at peace with the high caliber of care he is receiving at Silverado.

My aunt has only been recently placed. Check back with me in another month.

I toured this community. From the moment I walked into the door, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Brandon was very knowledgeable and knew personal stories of each resident. The layout was ideal for memory care patients to roam around without getting lost. Doors to go outside were left open during the day, so as residents don't feel as though they are restricted. Pet therapy is very well accepted at Silverado, with dogs and birds kept inside the facility. They even have a garden kept by the residents and use the freshly grown vegetables in their meals. Residents were not cooped up in their rooms when I visited. They were all chatting outside and in the common areas. Overall, Silverado at Onion Creek is a fantastic place for mom or dad!

Really liked Silverado. It's light, active, has pets, lots of activities going on.

I toured Silverado Onion Creek in April 2014. It was very easy to get to, located in south Austin. The community is secured - you must buzz to get in the front door, but once you are inside, you can walk around throughout the building and in and out to the secured outdoor area between 8a-8p. Because it's secured to enter, you feel safe and know your loved one will be safe, but because they have free access throughout the community during the day, your loved one won't feel like they are "stuck" in a "dementia care facility." The community is beautiful and has an open vibe inside and out. Outdoors they have a garden where everything is safe to eat so the residents can garden freely. They also have a playground so families can bring their kids. Plus, they have a little putting green which Brandon, the administrator, told us was featured on The Golf Channel! How cool is that!? The inside feels like you are in someone's very spacious and comfortableliving room. Everything is on one floor and is set up as a big square around a large inner courtyard. You can walk through the open kitchen which is safe and fun for residents to use, through various dining, TV and activity areas. Everything is very open and there are a lot of windows so the sun can shine in. Plus, Silverado Care is big on pet therapy, so there are a lot of furry ambassadors around to greet you as you walk by :) If my loved one ever needs memory care, Silverado will be my first choice.

I’m pretty happy with them. Every other place seemed to be about the same price. The value is excellent . The staff is very attentive. The food is really good, even though they’ve changed chefs and it’s a little different from what it was to start with. They have a whole courtyard for residents.

They are a remarkable place. They were so nice, we were all set to move in. We were waiting for availability. Unfortunately our loved one declined quite a bit before we could get there. They felt so bad they didn't even want to call me and tell me it wasn't going to work. It was just a special place.

Amazing community. Top notch quality of care and long tenured employees. Highly recommend.

I was impressed with Silverado's philosophy to make residents feel like this is their home and is another stage in their life not the end of their life. Activities are planned throughout the day and are geared to the individual's ability. The staff show a great deal of compassion with their interactions with the residents.
