This place is run very professionally. The staff there is well trained and do a great job with all of the residents. Nancy, Lisa, Aba (sic?), and Teri who run the front office are very caring people. When I need advice on a particular situation, they have the answers. The numerous staff (will not name them all) are all excellent. They (Arden Cts.) do a good job of retention of employees. That is very important to me. My Dad (resident) likes the usual caretakers to keep feeling like there is continuity in his daily activities. Activities are where this place shines. Jane and Renee (sic?) run an excellent activity center. They always have something going on for the residents. I am there every day, and see the great job they do. The food here is better than any memory care unit I have been to. That would be about four different places in the same area. Keith, the main cook loves his job, and you can tell by the quality of food he servers. They often have family nights, which is a big party. We recently had a Thanksgiving meal/party that was excellent!!! I would recommend this place to anyone who is suffering from the HELL know as dementia. Truly a God send. Best place for an awful situation (dementia).

My loved one has only been here a short time, but so far I think Arden Courts has done a fantastic job! This community is specifically for people with dementia/memory issues, and they are obviously very knowledgeable and experienced at how to handle these issues. The caregivers are all very friendly and patient and they take great care of the people that live here. The facility itself is well set-up and organized for those with memory issues. The residents are free to wander where they would like, but all of the hallways are color coded to help the resident keep track of where they are. They also have a quarter mile, totally secure, outdoor walking area, which has been fantastic for my loved one. I looked at quite a few places in the area, and although this one was the farthest away from me it was also the best that I saw. I would highly recommend it to anyone else looking into this sort of care!

The level of personal care per individual that they offer at USMC North Dallas is excellent. There are other residents there of course, but they treat mom as if she were the only one, giving her special care and attention, tending to all her needs. We are very happy!

My husband has only been there for about 6 weeks. He seems much calmer than he was in the assisted living facility. Arden Courts seems to really know how to work with dementia patients.

We toured this community, and we really liked what we saw here! I really like the way the community was set up, each level of care has its own neighborhood, and there is a main street area with all sorts of activities and arts and crafts shops set up. We got to try out some of the activities while we were there, as well as have a meal, and my loved one really seemed to enjoy it! The staff that we spoke with were all very friendly and informative, and they let us know we were welcome to come back and try as many activities as we liked while we were making our decision. I also liked that they offered respite care as well as day care.

This place is run by pros! the only reason I give it a 4.5* is that it would be amost impossible to keep a place like that spotless. The staff there is excellent. The food is better than any other assisted living/mental care place I have been to. I give it high marks!

This was one of the two communities that we looked at. It was very nice, and it was a toss up between the two. They were very comparable. Both clean, with a friendly staff. Both seemed to have good food and activities. In the end it came down to the fact that the other facility offered us a reduction in price, and helped to work out whether or not we would be able to afford it long term, and that was extremely helpful.

They were very helpful, it's never a good thing to have to do this. They went out of their way to help me. The food was excellent. The activities I would probably give a four, I would like to see them go outside of the building a little more. I would say it's a good place. The administrator is phenomenal, the social worker is wonderful. The one thing I would suggest, would be for them to be paired with a person who is closer to the same level of communication, when they have to share a room. The whole thing is a horrible trauma and not easy to get through, but it helps to not have to worry. They are a very stable workforce. There are no medicaid beds, though. Sharon Vance specifically, was very helpful.

It's great, I am really impressed. It's very clean, and the people that work there are all wonderful, they are very friendly, and they really care. They are very attentive and responsive. I assume that they are getting them to the activities, they have a lot of things going on. My one concern is that the bathroom isn't set up really well for someone in a wheelchair, the sink is set way back, and she can't reach to wash her hands or even spit in the sink. The building was an assisted living before, so I don't think there is much Silverado can do about that.

I have been very, very pleased with Silverado. Between the staffing, and the therapy, as well as the interaction with the staff. I am very happy with their services. They did a good job.

Cosy, serene and very calm. Ann was a fabulous guide and an excellent listener. Would suite my husband very well.

Silverado was fabulous! I was there everyday, and the nurse there Jane, along with the staff, the caregivers, the management, everyone was just super. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our loved one's condition. The doctor was very proactive, and they were able to help find out why certain things were happening. They would do PT with him, and tried all different kinds of things to help make it better. He made friends down there, everyone was so nice. It's just a fabulous place.

From the moment we first set foot in Silverado at Onion Creek my husband felt welcomed and at home. We were just there to learn more about the facility. When we walked in the first thing we noticed was a group of residents celebrating the beginning of football season, lots of activity and fun. Touring the residence my husband whistled back and forth with a canary, plopped down and petted one of several resident dogs, and enjoyed looking at beautiful fish in one of two aquariums. He also enjoyed hitting a few golf balls on the putting green in the courtyard. At the end of our tour we found the residents gathered again, this time to enjoy live music performed by a wonderful musician. My husband loves music and started singing with the performer. The performer and staff welcomed my husband's participation and made him feel valued as a person. We knew then Silverado was the place for us and have not regretted our choice at all.

Quiet, clean setting that serves dementia patients through all stages. Friendly setting that encourages independence.

Arden Courts is a very clean and friendly environment that focuses on the patients and keeping them active. My mom feels safe, cared for, and at home at Arden Courts.

My experience with Silverado has been excellent. My father was only three the days, and the services and care was fabulous. We couldn't have had a better experience. I'm satisfied with their overall services.

My wife was a resident of Arden Courts in Geneva for 1 year before she passed away. While there, she received excellent care. The staff was truly professional. I observed the care that my wife received plus care given to the other residents. My wife passed away 2 1/2 years ago but I still visit the residents and staff at least once a week.

This is the second time our family has utilized this facility. Our choice was simple this time...it was our first and only choice. They are one of a limited choice for memory care patients in the area. Most are just a wing in another facility. Arden Courts is completely designed for and staffed to care for people experiencing memory deficits. They focus on quality of life and sustaining the independence of their residents by addressing their individual personal, physical, psychological, medical, and spiritual needs. Unlike some facilities that may be over populated, or understaffed, Arden courts has more than an adequate number of well trained, compassionate and caring staff to tend to the needs of their residents. Communication with family is excellent. Residents and their family members are treated as part of the Arden Court family. The facility is bright, clean, well maintained and by design of four separate "homes" with amply sized individual rooms, and community dining, provides residents with an at home feeling with room to "roam" safely within and around the secure facility. This is the only place we found with secure walking paths and gardens. Residents can "roam" the grounds "independently" at their leisure, within sight of staff, allowing them to experience freedom while they are able. Activities are well planned, something for everyone. Residents are encouraged but not forced to participate. There are family events scheduled throughout the year as well. Resident menus offer a wide variety of items with a daily offering and an alternate choice. All in all, we have been super satisfied with our association with Arden Courts. The facility is more moderately priced in comparison to nursing facility memory care units. Well worth a visit if you need to make the difficult decision of placing your loved one in someone else's care due to memory impairment. Helpful staff readily answers questions and puts your mind and heart at ease.

This location works hard at preventing further decline. They work with clinics and psychologists regularly. The care sitters do a great job with the residents. They appear to have a passion for this population. The program staff develop great activities to keep the residents active.

Arden Courts of Geneva is one of the most beautiful, caring communities I have ever been in.
