I recently visited the facility and was greatly pleased with the care provided to the residents. The staff, Angela, Deb and Nell were very helpful during my tour. The place was fresh smelling and very inviting. I observed that they kept the residents engaged in lots of activities. I stayed for lunch and the food was great -- thanks to chef Laura. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.

Arden Courts is wonderful Memory Care facility. We moved both of my parents into this facility when it became clear that it was no longer safe for them to live alone. One of the reasons that we chose Arden Courts is because it allowed us to keep my parents together. The facility is designed like small communities which is great for my Mother who has limited mobility. During the nice weather, residents also have safe access to the outdoors which was important to my Father. We lost Dad recently. The caregivers at Arden Courts were so caring and compassionate with my Mother. The Caregivers are just the best. The food is wonderful. Any concerns that we have are dealt with quickly. My siblings and I are at peace with decision to remove my parents from their home.

Silverado allows the residents to mingle wherever they wish; there are no closed hallways, locked rooms or locked areas for those less lucid. Silverado serves wonderful, well balanced meals to the residents, with stocked refrigerators for the residents to peruse at any time. There's always snacks and fruit offered in between meals. Various drinks are offered to keep the residents well hydrated. The caregivers give care, they don't clean, do laundry or cook meals. The friendliness of the staff and caregivers are real- the residents are an extended part of their family. The day is filled with activities, with parties, social programs and outings for the residents. Silverado is the most expensive memory care center here locally, but mom always said - you get what you pay for. I expect Silverado to maintain their high standards of quality in their care of our loved ones.

My Mother was a resident at Arden Courts during her final stages of COPD and dementia. Honestly, words can not express the gratitude I have for being able to have my Mom spend her last days with such a capable, loving, and truly genuine staff. From the smile from Kendra at the front desk, to our initial meeting with Jodi and Krista our family felt right at home instantly. The nursing staff and the caregivers are thoughtful, and very considerate. Once I feel strong enough I plan to volunteer there to show my gratitude, and to help others that are afflicted with this disease.

From my first phone call until my mom passed away, I could not have found a better place to help me through her last 22 months. Everyone who works there looks after each resident and cared about them.

I often visit my loved one at Arden Courts. I am always welcomed graciously by the front staff and I always feel comfortable when making my visits. The caregivers are amazing and it shows that they really care about the residents. I have never left there feeling guilty or that I should have decided on something else for my loved one. I know she is getting the best care possible.

My Mom has been at Arden Court for 18 months with LBD and is doing great. She is in much better shape than when she went in due to regular good nutritious and tasty meals, regular medication and a safe environment. The individual rooms are bright and clean and residents can customize to their taste. Caregivers are sensitive to residents preferences as far as "intervention" as long as safety is maintained. Everything is handled delicately and with the intention of keeping the resident secure physically and psychologically. There are always activities happening and one rarely sees residents watching television (although large screen televisions are available in every "pod". Everything that I have read about "best practices" for dementia care is being observed by Arden Court. Management and nursing care are also very attentive and I never have to ask about anything twice. No telephone call goes unreturned. From the time one walks in until one leaves, one is greeted by every member of the staff. There are frequent get-togethers for resident-families as well. Their end-of-life care has been praised as well, though I have not yet experienced it. I would like to see the residents encouraged to participate more in being "useful", having purpose. Often I will see residents caring for each other or helping caregivers with laundry or other light chores. I think this should be expanded and encouraged (Specifically, I think my Mom needs someone to encourage her to do this!) I realize this can be delicate with those who are frail, but I think the benefits in most cases would outweigh the risks.

I have encountered nothing wrong with this place at all. I would absolutely recommend to friends and family. The staff AND the residents are all so nice.

Arden Courts has done an outstanding job in meeting mine and my families needs. Always friendly and ready to help if you need it.

This is a great community with a New England feel. Its design was very intentional with indoor/outdoor walking space and court yard. A beautiful and homey place for anyone in need of specialized memory care for their loved ones. The staff is very helpful and and go out of their way to care for their residents. This is a great location and worth checking out.

My brother-in-law was supposed to become a resident at this facility. However, he never quite made it as he passed away after only 10 days at the Arden Courts in Livonia waiting for an opening in Sterling Heights. My husband and I did tour the Sterling Heights one and were really impressed with the services.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. Unfortunately at the time of my tour they did not have any availability, but this is definitely somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one, it's a very nice looking place!

I just think that they are very good with my loved one.

Our counselor was excellent. Arden courts was informative and their staff was excellent. We felt extremely well about our options once we spoke to everyone involved. Thank you so much for your help in our time of great need.

I cannot find anything really wrong with this place. I feel comfortable knowing that my loved one is here.

I am so impressed by how the caretakers handle the dementia and memory-care unit residents. They were very gentle and compassionate with these people and I never heard anyone raise their voice, because sometimes there were problems with the residents, but the staff immediately jumps in and resolves them. It is just a wonderful place.

Very clean, friendly atmosphere. No "nursing home smell" at all.All persons, from administrators to caregivers to nurses to custodians to cooks to maintenance person are friendly, competent, and caring. They all are gentle under all circumstances. Their only business is caring for dementia patients, and they do it very well. All are approachable with nothing to hide. Highly recommend if you are faced with the need for dementia care.
