I toured this facility and it was good. The cleanliness seemed fine, but there was a little bit of an odor. There wasn’t a lot of activity going on either and when we walked in the residents were just sitting around. Though, it was almost time for them to sit down to eat so that might’ve been why. We heard one of the caregivers yelling at one of the residents in the dining room and that ultimately just put a bad taste in our mouth. However, the person that gave us the tour was from corporate and they seemed knowledgeable about the facility.

I toured this facility when looking for a place for my parents. It was more like an apartment building than a community. I wasn’t that impressed with it. The outside area was lacking a lot and everything seemed to be geared more towards doing things inside. It’s a brand new facility, though, so it’s very clean and looks nice. The person that gave us the tour was able to answer all of our questions and they seemed knowledgeable about the facility and what they had to offer.

I decided to tour this facility because they have a memory care unit which is what my Wife needs. Upon arriving, I notice that the unit is much smaller than other facilities and they don’t really have room for my wife to walk around. They do offer a lot of activities and all of the staff members are very nice. If I brought my wife here, I would be able to walk her around the facility as long as she was with me. While I’m not there she would, unfortunately, have to be locked in the memory care unit. The facility itself looks very good and it would have been a good choice, but it just wasn’t big enough. I would recommend other families to look at this facility.

I toured here when looking for a place for my mom but she didn’t want to move in because there’s no independent living available, only assisted and skilled nursing. When I first walked in, the thing that stood out to me the most was the fact that they were so friendly and welcoming. They had flavored water that was available and they even had homemade granola. I know that the other residents that were there had more declining health issues, but while I was there they were all just kind of sitting around and seemed to be bummed out, they weren’t happy or anything. The staff seemed really nice and happy to be there, but it just wasn’t the place for my mom. However, this place would be perfect for someone who’s just coming out of the hospital or someone that needs constant supervision.

This property is great. I think that the staff team here is fairly competent and knowledgeable. For the most part it’s been a positive situation. My loved one residing there is not a big fan of the food. She most prefers to cook for herself. The cleanliness is good and there’s no bad odor in the facility. There is also lots of activities provided for the residents. There’s about maybe six to seven things happening every day such as knitting, movies, drives in the country, and days at the casino. I would recommend this property to families looking into options for their loved ones.

I toured here when looking for a place for my mom and I didn’t like it. It didn’t have the feel of a nice place. There wasn’t anything wrong with it but it seemed like there were a lot more people that weren’t as active and were more so sedentary. I felt an atmosphere of depression. However, the facility was kept clean from what I could see. The person that took me on the tour seemed knowledgeable and answered any questions as they came up.

I really like this facility. The people who work here are lovely and my Mother is enjoying the care. I know that she is safe here and they have a really good nursing staff. It's a very clean facility, but the only problem I have is with the food and staff. The food is always cold even if you go down to the cafeteria and eat. Then the staff, it seems like they have a hard time keeping employees. Don't get me wrong, all the staff members that are here are really nice. I just think the care is compromised and they are having a hard time with the staff to resident workload. I would recommend this community.

I was touring different communities when I was trying to find a place for my parents to go because they needed to be moved from independent to assisted living. This facility is a bit older but the rooms are a decent size and are slightly bigger than some of the other facilities I've seen. They only have 1 bedrooms though, from what I was shown. Other than that, the staff seemed pretty nice.

Great community in West El Paso. Lots of activities for my uncle to do. Beautiful, clean, still smells new.

We had to place my wife in this community and she loves it here. The caregivers are nice and caring. It stays clean and tidy. The grounds stay maintained. She feels safe here. The food is great and all the activities are wonderful such as bingo and painting.

I love this place for my mother, she is in the memory care part of the community and the caregivers are great and responsive to mom's needs. They have lots of activities like cards, arts and crafts. The courtyard is small but nice. They have wonderful food and she feels safe here.

I really wanted mom to come live here. But she had her sights on something else at the time of the decision. But this place was very new and beautiful. Everyone looked cheerful and healthy. This also had an assisted living part if Mom were to ever need that. They had a huge 2nd floor balcony that had a sports bar on it and mom loves sports she just had friends at the place she chose to live and chose that community.

This community was very lovely very clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and very nice. This community had a designated smoking area that was little ways from the apartments and that wouldn't have worked for my mom. She was looking for something she would be able to step outside and be able to smoke.

Brookdale Big Creek Roswell was a nice community. The director was very knowledgeable and helped me with all of my questions. We really enjoyed the tour. My parents ended up choosing a community that was closer to their home.

This is a beautiful community with a lot of amenities for the residents. The staff did an impressive job showing all around their community, answering all my questions and making me feel welcome. I would definitely recommend taking the tour here and this would have been one of my top choices for myself but the pricing was not what I had set for my budget.

My father is in this apartment community. The staff is understaffed. The staff that is to come and clean are not coming when they are scheduled to come and assist in the cleaning for my father. They do offer meals that my father does enjoy. They do offer activities for those who want to participate. I would suggest that families tour this community for the care of a loved one

I have no complaints of how things had went during my tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. I liked the open floor plan and thought they had a great selection of amenities for the residents. It was just not the right fit for us in the end decision.

I toured this community for my father, and his needs. It is a pretty ideal community for a senior. I didn't meet many staff members, but the community looked nice. It had a lot space, and from what I saw everything looked nice. Everyone I did meet was kind, and friendly. There were many factors that played into where to move my father too, and this community was to expensive for our budget. I did find another community that met our needs better, but I had a nice tour of this facility.

Brookdale Sun City West Sandridge is a beautiful community. It's a lovely place and smells really nice. It's very convenient and close to me so I can visit often. Mom seems to be having a hard time settling in. But the staff members are very caring and trying to work with her the best that they can. She does eat a good breakfast, she is tiny and sometimes does not like to eat meat, but there is a lot of variety to choose from. The staff in the cafeteria take good care of her and like to pamper her. She has a very nice room with her own kitchenette with privacy on the first floor. There are so many activities for her to participate in and the staff tries to get her to participate. She does like to get her hair done there. They have LPN 24 hours on duty. We are hoping she will settle down and enjoy what they have to offer.
