Beautiful dining room. Had a strong odor on the floor that I viewed the apartment. Another apt was a very long & confusing walk. Did not view activity room, hair salon or outside areas where you could walk a dog.

I can't say thank you enough you were really there when I needed something last minute. I was called away for business and needed to put my mom somewhere and this place came through. Mom did really well while she was there she liked the staff they were really friendly and kind. She seemed to be eating much better there than she is now. We had such a positive experience there that I am looking to see if my mom can go back there for another stay while I am out of town again. It's nice to know there is a good place where I can trust them to take care of her while I am away.

My tour of this community with well, and everyone very kind. The community was nice, and everything appeared to be well-kept. The staff I met was friendly, and informative. My questions were answered. I did find another community that met our needs better, but my tour was a good one.

Mom is doing fairly well since moving into this community. She is participating in some of the daily activities. She seems to like the food. The community is kept clean and they have a nice enclosed courtyard. We liked the western decor and we felt mom would like this as well. the staff have been great and I would recommend this community.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They make me feel very welcome and are easy for me to communicate with. They provide activities and try and get everyone to participate. I've had a stroke so I do not participate in all of the activities. I'm improving in my walking, and the staff is very good at motivating me to move more. So they could offer more variety in their menu. It is very bland, institutional type food. They provide snacks for the residents. It is very clean and they do a credible job. My room is like a hotel, it is exactly what I wanted, large and inviting and perfect for my needs. The community bus is available for trips into town to do shopping. I've been twice and feel very assured that I will always make it back to the community. They looked after me on my trips into town, I feel safe knowing they make sure I get back to the community.

The staff are very good and encouraging. The food is good and they do offer healthy choices. They keep the community taken care of on the inside and the outside. They offer daily activities. I would recommend this community.

I have no complaints about how things went for my loved one and I during our tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. The floor plan was open and they had a lot of great amenities available to all of the residents. It was just not the right fit in the end decision.

This was a nice community that seemed to lean more towards independent living. We were looking for more assisted living. The people we met were nice and they did seem to offer some nice activities. I would recommend taking a look to see if this community would work for you or your loved one.

Brookdale Leawood has a wide variety of activities for all interests. The apartments are beautiful and spacious. The dining room is bright and beautiful. Everyone that works there is friendly and caring. We looked at many places for our mom, and found Brookdale, Leawood to be the best. Mom is very happy living there. The only improvement that I could suggest is that they need to hire more wait staff, to work in the dining room. This has been a constant issue, that needs to be improved upon. The wait staff needs more help in the dining room. Overall, our family is very impressed with Brookdale, Leawood.

The cost of this community seemed to be a little higher than other communities in the area. The people I met when I visited were nice. The community seemed clean. This community is in an area close to malls and to the bus line.

We previously had a good experience with this community. My father used to live here. It was nice to visit the staff. This is a nice community, but I did find another community that suited my mother needs better.

Found Brookdale Kenner clean, a pleasant atmosphere and the attending staff very helpful and friendly. At this point it is our first week at Brookdale and our only criticism is that a meal or two was missed and one issue of medication was missed. At this point, we remain satisfied with the experience and expect these issues to be resolved.

I had a good tour of Brookside Ridgemar. It was a nice facility and the person that took me around was fantastic. The only reason we did not choose them was that we had to go with the least expensive place, but other than that, this was a very good option for anyone.
