I had a very good tour of Brookdale Broadway Mesa. The facility was clean and everything was in good shape. The person that took me around was friendly and helpful. It was a nice place but not the best fit for my loved one moment.

When I toured Brookdale, I got the impression that they tell you the lowest price to get you in the door and then it goes up. Everything is a la carte. The one good thing I got out of the tour was I got a list of movers. I ended up with good information. The facility was just too large, there was no way she could have made it to the dining room from the rooms they had available.

We visited every senior community in Northwest AL and decided on Brookdale Florence. Space was very important to mom so she could carry her things from home. Her apartment looks beautiful. The staff is wonderful and caring. Activities director has been there for years and loves her job and the people. Mom is looking forward to planting in the beautiful gardens. Selecting a community can be a difficult but I think we made a good choice.

My dad was only at this community for a short period of time, but while he was there I was pleased with the quality of care he had received. The staff where understanding and helped him be as comfortable as he could be. He had no complaints about the meals and really enjoyed his surroundings while he was there.

I am very pleased with the tour I had received at this community for my father. The staff where all very friendly and made sure to give my loved one and I a great look of there facility. They had a lot of great amenities that they offered to all of there residents and a great food menu as well. It was just not the right fit for my dad in the end decision.

The staff I met at this community during my tour was nice. The community looked beautiful. This community was located a little farther away than what we were looking for. This community was a little more expensive than the community we chose.

We toured this community for care. It is expensive but if you have the cash it looks like a good place.

My loved ones are doing okay since their move to Brookdale Ridgemar. They are still adjusting but their apartment is comfortable and it has been a good experience.

I was not totally happy with some of the health care dad received while he lived here. He had a medical issue and we did not know who to talk to help with this. It took about four days before they tried to help him. They accommodated his dietary needs. The community is clean and his room was beautiful. They offer daily activities and the residents seem happy. The staff was nice and encouraging. I would recommend this community for a more active person.

Clean, Bright, has railings on all floor walls for stability and safety. Prices for extra care, e.g. handling medication and meal delivery seem a bit high. e.g.-- $30 per day for scheduled delivery of medication.

This looked like a nice active community. The people I met were friendly. Mom is not very active so this community did not seem like it would be the right fit for her.

This Brookdale was actually my second choice. It was clean and everyone was friendly. The reason we did not choose it was because of the layout of the facility. It was not the traditional L-shape or multiple stories. I feel that my mother would have gotten lost.

When I toured Brookdale Tanglewood, I thought it was very nice but it was not what I was looking for. Also, to be fair when I toured it I did not know that my mother needed memory care.

I was looking for a community that would be able to provide care if it would change down the road. I had a good time seeing this place and it was not a bad place. I just found that it was not the right place for the long term care I wanted.

I had a good tour of Brookdale Arlington. During my tour, the tour guide was able to answer any questions that I had and provide me with good information. The facility was clean and organized. It was a good experience.

It's difficult to rate the facility since Mom hasn't moved in yet. So far, we're impressed with the staff and their helpfulness.

I had a great tour of this place and have no complaints about the experience I had with my mother. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to give us lots of great information on there facility. It just was not the right fit for my mother but I would recommend that anyone take a tour of this place who is interested in an assisted living.

The staff at this community were excellent with my friend during her stay here. The food is really good. The community is clean and well maintained. This is a really nice beautiful community. I would recommend this community.

This is a great community, and my father is doing very well with his move to this community. They have a super staff at this community. They have been very attentive, and helpful. He really enjoys the staff. There are activities offered, and he gets a schedule a before of all the activities they are going to have available. He is pleased with the meals. I do feel he is safe, and good hands at this facility. This is a community I would probably recommend.

[Removed] was very gracious and spent a lot of time talking with me about my needs for my parents. The room was not a two bedroom two bath. It did have very nice 2 bathrooms but it was a two bath one bedroom set up. I thought that I had asked for two bedrooms and two bathrooms. I feel like I half wasted my time. I thought that the place seemed a little bit worn but it did not smell badly. There was not really a work out room which I has asked for, there was a cycle in a TV room that could be used. The library was very short on books... I think that there was a positive attitude and a nice feeling of caring from the Executive Director and Marketing Director. My guess is that it would be a caring place for loved ones. Right now I am hoping to find a place that more closely meets my parents needs with two bedrooms.
