Jessica was very professional and highly effective at communicating the offerings of the Terrace community. We appreciate the Independent Living with Innovative Senior Care concept. We saw very positive interactions between the staff, Jessica and the residents during our visit. We appreciated the attention to detail and focus on the care and maintenance of the units and property. Liked the flexibility of the community care payment - allowing you to move to other Brookville communities and carry that with you if your care progresses and your needs change. We would definitely keep this community on the list of options for the future care of our parents.

It was very clean and very spacious. The staff and the manager were very nice. Even the maintenance man was good - he should be a salesman. It was very good and we liked it the most of any place we saw but my in-laws decided they wanted to go back to Oregon. Cost-wise, it was cheaper than some of the other ones we saw. It was by far the best overall. The first time we looked at it the manager was sick so the maintenance man showed us around. He showed a room and said it would look like new after the lady moved out. She must have had nails in every wall. The next time we saw it, it had been painted, there was new carpet - it was beautiful. The living room was very large and there were sliding doors to a patio. This was by far the best that we looked at.

This is an excellent facility with lovely people and spacious apartments to live. I especially enjoyed meeting Lynn Karanic. She was a joy and gave me a first class tour! Also, introduced me to the friendly staff and happy residents! Thank you so much, Lynn and see you on my next trip up through Paso Robles to Santa Cruz!

I have not seen the property yet, however my daughter has had the best interactions with Nina Martin Diana Jones, Reena ) and Angie in the Business Office. ( sorry I have misplaced the last names). I also have enjoyed informative conversations by phone with Ms. Martin and with Ms. Jones. My daughter was promised that Room 1106 would be totally redone including new cabinets. All promises were kept and the apartment is just lovely, so inviting and completely ready for me to move into when I get to Texas from Bend , ORegon.this next week. I also want to tell you that the packet of information that was sent out to me early in my search for a new home was the very informative and met all my needs in forming an positive opinion of THE TERRACE AT CLEAR LAKE, Webster, Tx Sincerely, Dorothy W Reeves .

Mom's been very happy there. The thing I like about it is that even if you have a few health issues you're able to access some healthcare on site which is nice. The only thing that's hard for my mom is the walking. It's a large complex but her apartment is centrally located so she's in good shape. I think they're doing a lot of things to make it more flexible for people to dine which is good. Before they just had breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday. Now what they're offering is you can eat anytime of day you would like from 8 to 8 so that's nice. I guess a certain amount of it is covered in your rent. I like that. I think the more you can do to get the residents together and help them get to know each other more helps too.

My Dad has been living there for a month. We are both very satisfied with the community and the services. Would not hesitate to reccommend it to anyone.

We Choose this facility for my mother. I visited six total assisted living sites and this was the only facility that I even considered. My mother and I have always shared a very close and loving relationship. She has been a beacon in my life and took great care of me over the years and now it's my turn to make sure she gets the absolute best for her as she progresses with her memory loss. I know that this place is going to help me achieve the goal of making my mothers remaining years as comfortable and spoiled as possible.

I think they did a wonderful job, it was very very clean, the staff was awesome. It's not a skilled nursing place which she really needed, but they took really good care of her even though they weren't . It was right around the corner from my house and it was clean clean clean, I think it was awesome

I don't have enough experience yet to really know, they've been relatively attentive to mom. The food is pretty good and it's met all of our expectation, it's real clean, they do strict enforcement fo the garbage collection. Mainly they have them self policing, you have people on each wing that are kind champions of making people comfortable, letting them know what's going on. Mom is doing good, she has some memory loss, she's still pretty sharp and we actually made it feel like home over there. You have different levels of care, its a retirement community so you're supposed to take care of yourself but they have a concierge so you can get someone to help you with your meds, they have a beauty shop that all the ladies rave about, they have a movie theater and activities... it's pretty good so far

My children and I toured The Terrace on Saturday and it quickly became the front-runner for me; this was after seeing Village on the Park at Friendswood. Altho in some respects the facility is dated, the 1BR we saw was wonderful and of course, I love the pool. Also, I don't think riding my bike on the grounds will pose any problem and K would love that along with the 3 windows in the apt 'for her viewing pleasure!' Definitely my No. 1 choice!

If you live in the best mansion in town and can't live alone, do you blame the mansion? After dealing with every kind of "Elderly" living (nursing homes to assisted living,) The Terrace is a breath of fresh air. Knowing what to look for, this was chosen on the spot for my father-in-law. He has mild dementia, but desperately wants to live alone. When the time comes, just as others living there, we will have medicaid help with home health services, until moving is the only option! He caused some problems elsewhere, so we told him this was the last stop, then nursing home. He is allowing them to clean once a wk and the 2 meals are wonderful, and enough for 2 people! I am vert impressed and so is he. It is more secure than average, yet thought has been taken to allow them to grocery shop easily next door. They have great outings (which he hasn't participated in) but they have called while I'm there to invite/remind. Never have I visited a place where SINCERELY the residents & staff say "I LOVE IT HERE,". My background immediately kicked in & I asked about the director. " SHE IS WONDERFUL". Bingo! The staff and residents show what trickles down from the top. This is an amazing place, and before any one puts it down, I recommend you putting your loved one elsewhere, and see what happens. This is a 55+ community. If your loved one fits the qualifications, they should love it here unless nothing pleases them. At 56 yrs old, we looked at 2 bedrooms...... No joke! Swimming, putting green, ponds, grassy picnic gazebos, transportation, parties, large rooms for family gatherings, special events, etc.... 2 meals and cleaning once a week.....upgraded apartments in every way- from refrig, stoves, counter tops in kit and bath, walk in showers, two pull cords for ER. And a phone to call anyone in SERVICE or a friend in the community...... And what is the complaint? I've seen wonderful staff treated bad, & my own FIL was one. After a firm talk, so far so good. I doubt there is a place that has 100% perfection in staff, but I love what I see and hear. The staff is very kind and helpful, and the sales ladies were very gracious! In fact, all receptionist have been outstanding. No need for boredom when you see their activity chart of the month! If you have been around the block a few times, this is where you will stop!

Compared to the other places ive looked at the cost is in line, im doing therapy downstairs and thats exceptional. The quality is much better than what i was getting before, im seeing the same people everytime. i think im improving and im going down to the happy hour just a little bit,. the people there are fine, everybody has their own problems, they wouldnt be there if they didnt. But the thereapist here has me on a machine as a warm up and then we do a lot of different therapy activities from there. That was one of the things Richard said he would do is change things up so I wouldnt get bored and its a lot better than what i was doing before at the other place

Signed a lease this weekend! Great place, great deal, great people. We hope our mom will be very happy

It's a larger community. The people were all very nice and they had wonderful services. They were very welcoming and open with how life is in their community. The main reason we didn't choose them is geography - they were too far away from our other family in Tucson.

Irina was not able to give us the tour, but Melissa the bookkeeper was available and I really appreciated her straightforward answers with us. They were having a luau when we visited. The building is about four stories and the common areas are all on the first story, though there are some apartments there too. A one bedroom is around $2995 a month and comes with a kitchenette (small fridge, microwave, and sink.) The two bedrooms are $3495. They include three (plus) meals a day, available from 7:30am to 7:30pm. As well as all utilities except for phone. They offer transportation to doctors on certain days, and to shops on others. The price can increase anywhere between 2-10% every year, which we thought was a wide range. The residents see the nurse on staff who helps determine the level of care they need. They offer three additional levels of care; level one costs $375, level two costs $675, level three costs $975; though I'm not sure what the additional costs include. The dining is restaurant style, residents can order what they what how they want it, and they encourage feedback.

excellent care during a respite month. Very kind employees. My uncle was always clean and well cared for.

It's very nice. I think the price is fair and comparable to what else is available. My mom and her husband haven't needed any care yet but knowing it is there is comforting. My mom is just having the best time. She loves it. He didn't want to leave his home but he's not complaining as much anymore.

LOCATION!!! Friendly staff & energy!!! Physical, mental & social activities. Various prices on private large rooms, bring own furniture, safe bathrooms. Easily transferred to memory care unit should need arise, housekeeping and laundry service, visiting physicians, on-site physical rehabilitation, enclosed courtyards, pets allowed. Offered us a FIXED MONTHLY RATE FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!

My dad is very happy here. I'm very impressed. He does exercise classes and they take him on little trips. They have water aerobics, church services on Sundays, and different little social activities. My dad says he's going to gain weight because they feed him well and it's very good food. He said the chef will make whatever they request. It's a very nice place!

My mom lives here. It's working out great so far. I think it's a good value. She likes the community and is happy with the food. There are all different types of activities available.
