I really like this community it is a great place to move to. I have a friend that I knew already so that helped make the transition to the community easy. I looked at a few other communities and this one was the best. The food is great they have a good chef. I enjoy porker night and swimming in the pool. They are very attentive to me and always there when I need them.

Brookdale Bellingham is a pretty nice place. It's a good place for my dad. There are a lot of activities. The food is pretty good. It is kind of pricey, I feel not everything was out in the open about the price before he moved in.

Moving dad into Legacy has gone much better than expected. The staff have been great and they even have a piano which my Dad loves to play for the residents. The residents love it when he plays as well and have even gone as far as leaving nice notes complimenting him. He is eating well and even gained a little weight since moving in. What Dad enjoys most is the daily exercise program. The electronic key card that gives him access to his apartment also tracks his progress with the fitness program. I am completely pleased with Legacy and would recommend!

The staff here is nice and they seem attentive to the residents. The facility is clean. So far, things are going well and we have not had any problems at Brookdale. We are getting settled in pretty nicely.

I have recommended this community to others already. My Mother-In-Law is doing pretty good there. Depending on the level of care needed for someone, this place is fine. She is still more independent than some. They are very accomodating, very friendly. So far this has been a good experience and things are going better than expected. The director Mike and sales person Reba are very friendly and wonderful.

Nice facility but was disappointed that we scheduled a tour but apparently they double booked so we had to wait. Also have not had any follow up from them as promised. We were interested but apparently they aren’t.

The staff here is very nice. They are attentive and kind with the residents. The facility itself is well maintained and clean. We have had a pretty good experience with Brookdale so far and have had no major issues.

It's still really new. She likes her apartment, and she seems to be happy there. They didn't really have a person to show her around, when we first came in. The transition was a little less smooth than I would hope. They have been really good about the maintenance, anything that has come up, they have addressed right away. The concierge is the main person you go to with any issues, and they seem pretty responsive so far. The residents aren't the friendliest bunch with newcomers. The population isn't very diverse.

My Dad moved in to the Brookdale Tanglewood facility in early January at 87 years of life on this planet. He was living in his own home and driving but passed out at church and the Dr "suggested" that he should not live alone or drive. He was greeted warmly by the team at Tanglewood and has made two "meal buddies". He seems to be having a challenge with getting into the activities, but we are praying as he acclimates that will improve.

In the process of helping a friend find a place, we found Brookdale. It is a very clean living environment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My friend seems to be adjusting okay to the move which makes it easier. I would recommend this place.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

Great customer service but the onboarding took some time. Nice place but you have to know the process of enrollment to move things along quicker.

We are just having a little trouble getting our bill straightened out. Other than that, everything is fine and we are getting things worked out. So far, we do not have any major complaints about Brookdale.

Friendly staff. A lot of hallways, nice rooms.

I have not had a lot of interactions with the staff, but everyone I have met so far has been great. They need to improve on repairing things when broken. It takes a minute for them to come in and repair them. The activities are typical activities you would see in an older setting , such as bridge or bingo. They could improve the activities. My dad has to watch a lot of TV there and it would be helpful if they have a TV guide for the residents. He's 80 and it is hard for him to remember the channels.... especially if it is on a commercial.

I got a good feeling when i went there to visit the community. There are large roooms and a nice quaint, safe feeling when i am there.

Well I don't know if I'm going to be happy here. But the house was to big for me so I don't think I will be sad. It's ok so far.

My mother has been in the Brookdale (Marysville) for one month. She is very happy here even though 6 months ago she wouldn't have considered it. One serious health issue later and she is thrilled with her return to semi- independence. THE STAFF: I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff that I have met to include (but not limited to): Whitney, Sue, Karen, Dottie, Jason, Marian. They have all been caring and kind. The kitchen staff is amazingly patient and kind. They are dealing with people, like my mom, who may have difficulty expressing themselves and haltingly bring out words. This is especially true in the dining room. The servers have the patience of Job. THE FOOD: One of the things that I particularly like is that you can order off a menu, like a restaurant. As one gets older and their world becomes smaller, little things like food take on a greater importance so the food has to be decent and varied. A couple OTHER places I toured before deciding on this one, the menu was uber limited; almost no vegetables or salads and fruit. I saw hot dogs on the menu for lunch every day, one casserole, and another choice that made me think I'd take a frozen dinner instead. I just knew that none of those would please my mother as she is more the salad bar, fruit place, omelet kinda gal. If she doesn't have the food she likes she just will not eat. THE ROOMS: There are larger units and small studios apartments. The place says very full and I was fortunate to be able to rent the last available apartment. My mom's is a little studio but she is thrilled to be there and not in nursing care! ASSISTANCE: My mother needs medication management, dressing and bathing help. I feel very fortunate that she really likes her assistant. They get her up, dressed and out to breakfast to be with other people. My mom has just blossomed here because she was really isolated living in her own home before her stroke. She has made friends and I have just recently met some of them. Just a lovely group of ladies that bring her into the conversation and encourage her to join in some of the activities. Take a look at this property but BEWARE, not all Brookdale properties are this good. Each property is a separate business and the staff and services vary widely. One of the other places I toured was a Brookdale and that was the terribly limited and unhealthy choice dining.

Only been a Resident for 9 days. Everything is good.

The place is unbelievable. I feel like I live in a 5 star hotel. I'm used to living in apartments where the trash can is across the street and where it is located here it is down the hallway. I have told all my friends and family this is my next to last resting place. I am not moving. They also feed us here.
