All these places are expensive....not sure about the value for cost. The original manager left due to health problems, the replacement was a rookie manager who seemed overwhelmed....a new manager starts Monday. She's not a rookie so let's see how she does

Our experience with Parmer Woods has been overall very good. They definitely can improve in several areas but they have had several staff issues (people leaving). I would like to say that the person that helped me via Places for Mom was exceptionally excellent

Overall good experience, I would recommend Whispering Winds to others and have done so.

I do tell people that these are hard working, kind and sincere people who take very good care of the residents. From the managerial to support staff , I am very happy that we have my brother in their care.I would recommend them to others. I also want to thank you for your help with guiding me through this process. Your staff is also to be commended. It was the TV commercial that I had seen at just the right time that led me to you. Thanks to all of you from my family.

Overall, it's a good place. Staff just comes and goes quite frequently so services are spotty sometimes.

The community worked well for our situation. I would recommend based on the experience we had a year ago. I cannot comment on the current facilities or staff.

The care givers were excellent. Had to keep after management to maintain cleanliness. Activity schedule was posted but rarely executed. Not a problem for my mom since someone from our family was there every day to entertain her. Overall I would recommend this facility to others.

With everything, we had some ups and downs as Mom's need for more care developed. We were always able to work out the issues. At times, we felt Moms room could have been more clean, but the staff was always willing to make it right when we brought it to their attention. From the front desk to the cleaning staff they always treated us and Mom very well. We had sporadic issues with temporary helpers and when Mom was needing to move to additional care. Communication of her needs was the biggest issue. The workers that knew her I would give a 10+. Mom complained about the food, but I think it was good. Mom was not a big participant but they always tried.

My sister likes the Parmer Woods at North Austin facility. there are times however when the staff is slow to respond to her call, but overall she is happy being there ad we would recommend the community to other families.

We chose North Point Village because of the location and apartment set-up. The food has been off and on. I think think it has improved recently with new staff. Staff is helpful, but as with other facilities and staff turn over, there is a learning curve.

I would say that Sun City West assisted living center offers their residents a lot to do if residents choose to participate. They have a nice outdoor space to get fresh air and are very accommodating when family visits or if we have a small party for my loved one. It always is neat and clean and never has funky smells. If I had a complaint, it would be the high staff turnover, but I'm afraid that is the nature of the industry.

I would recommend Tucson Place. They've weathered through a lot of the local higher management turnover the past 6 months, but the replacements have so far been exceptional. It's a safe and healthy place for a loved one.

I would say the facility is nice, clean and well organized. They take very good care of my mother in law.

They have a fantastic Activity Director. Other staff were new prior to our departure and communication with family was lacking. Room sizes are good for what was needed. Overall a very nice facility.

My parents have adjusted well to assisted living and like the staff. The place isn't perfect but I feel as if my parents are in good care.

Friendly staff. Dinning experience could use some improvement as far as food choices, and flavors.

They are very board at Cimarron. They like to play cards, games and watch shows. If they had live entertainment come in they would enjoy that. If they had field trips to baseball games, museums, ect. They like the facilities and employees however, they want to go back to Mount Vista, they are on the list to move back when it opens. They were in senior living there and really liked it, the food, entertainment, employees. They are opening assisted living in November.

Everyone is very friendly! My mom is clean, fed and issues regarding her apartment are addressed right away. Sometimes they run out of things and then half the portion to go around ...according to my mom However, they have a monthly meeting with the residents on how they can improve.

People are friendly and nice to patients and families that come in to see the patient. Dinners are great. I just wished workers did more with the patients. More activities. Fun stuff and movement things to do. If Evergreen Place does have activities they should share more with family members to let them know what going on.
