Very well maintained, clean & safe for a 95- yr old. Some are lively & friendly. Some are moody. Good care, but not always predictable. Have to repeatedly ask for some services, like help with hair/nails, linens. Excellent food. Not sure what activities are available. [name removed] can't see to read & needs to be told /taken to activities which rarely happens so she sits alone , bored. We have hired extra help for this. Convenient for us & she is safe, managed

It was a bright, clean, homey place. The apartments were well lite and appointed. The price was also more reasonable than other places.

Overall, my mom really likes her stay there. She has had a few complaints but mostly about laundry and timing of her medication. She seems to really like the place, especially the people that also live there and she enjoys the food. She likes being able to get out every week or so to Walmart or a restaurant. She feels safe there and enjoys going to their patio on nice days.

Friendly staff and wonderful caregivers. Very clean, and beautiful courtyard. Spacious rooms and regular group activities.

The location is perfect. The grounds are well-kept. For meals/dining, there have been several changes in kitchen staff/chef over two years.

The food and food service could be better. I understand that it's probably difficult to get help these days, though. MIL is not happy with either. They've had difficulty in getting people to clean her apartment too. But the facility is clean and the staff are friendly. I would still recommend them. It is all just staffing issues.

There was lots of staff and management changes while we were there. There were staff issues that affected both the food and activities so I didn't get a realistic picture. They aren't the only place with staffing issues. And I like the new director they brought on- he's good.

As with any place be an advocate for your loved one. Don't assume care is being given and ask for extra services if needed. Found out that there are services available that are not advertised.

Maintenance staff was great, kitchen staff and servers were great, and I made some good friends while there. Overall very satisfied no real complaints would recommend them if prices were right

I'd say the staff is pretty friendly with my dad, he even made friends with one of them. Facility offered all types of services if any type of care needed to be changed, of the places I visited, this was the best bang for the buck. My dad seems pretty contempt with where he is at.

I don't know how to rate value for cost. I feel comfortable leaving mom there. It's not like her living with me. At this stage they are doing a better job than me. They could use more staff in memory care especially on the weekends. I'm so glad they keep the memory care area clean. The lady that cleans mom's room does a fabulous job. Mom loves the food. Sometimes there are activities for the residents but that person gets pulled sometimes to work on the assisted living side. She has a great personality. Perfect for working with residents.

Overall, it is a fine place. Staff wasn’t always as responsive as we would have liked to our calls, but otherwise it was fine. Struggle with scheduling car service.

I was basically happy with the care, but my father wasn't encouraged enough to get out of his room. He spent too much time in bed and had multiple falls. He spent his last month in memory care with much closer supervision. I was very pleased with them.

We have had a good experience so far. Mom has a lot of complaints but that is typical of her and not necessarily a reflection of their quality of service. The one complaint she has which is justified though, is the food. It seems that they are short staffed and the dining experience is unremarkable at best. I would expect better quality meals for the price she is paying. That aside, I would recommend the Landing to anyone.

Everyone is friendly and respectful. It's been a pleasure up to this point. I don't see any problem with the food but my parents are used to their own home cooking. They don't complain about it anymore.

The overall experience has been good, but small population and my mother felt like outsider because the eating groups had been formed. The cleanliness is good, but washing machine in my mother's floor was. It working so had to walk the steps to do laundry. The friendliness of the staff is good as well as the quality of care. My mother says the meals are just mediocre. I wish the activities director had reached out to her more. Having regularly scheduled movies would have been appreciated because that shared room meant others would be there or know how to operate the equipment and my mother did not know how to do that. It was less expensive than [community name removed] and appreciated that. Also the method of assessing cost felt fair. At [community name removed] assessment felt very arbitrary and high. Much more transparent at Dunwoody. Place. Also that care was delivered as needed and wanted rather than forced was very much appreciated. Also staff was supportive when my mother was on hospice and died. They would come help me change my mother. Once they helped wash the sheets for me when They saw I was looking for a working washing machine. The person in charge of Dunwoody was lovely and very understanding

The facility is very nice, clean, beautifully appointed, friendly helpful people and great communication. There is a variety of activities every day, including outings and musical performances and many special events, like bbqs and picnics that include family members. The staff was easy to get to know and communicate with every day. We received phone calls if there were issues. Unfortunately, as with many facilities, they were sometimes understaffed.

However, The communication from the Havens to resident family is absolutely HORRIBLE. For example: 1) Families were never notified when the entire facility was in isolation for weeks due to Covid outbreak. 2) The facility was without hot water for 4 days. At an assisted living facility, this is a health crisis. 3) Management staff has changed 3 times since my Dad's arrival. 4) Voicemail recording is from the previous manager.

I like this place when they have something for me to do. All the people here are good and they are like family.
