My mother was there for only a month and I was seldom there. It worked out fine for her respite care.

Very friendly, nice facility. Excellent room sizes and amenities offered. This is a perfect fit for my uncle [name removed].

Facility is nice and recently renovated. In a great location. Leadership very responsive and accommodating. Food is good. Facility able to provide a wide range of assistance depending on needs. However, Some times have to remind care assistants multiple times about a request. Would definitely recommend it in my opinion. Very happy so far.

They are a lovely place. Thanks for your support in finding them. I was struck by the ease between the staff and residents. The staff are relaxed and patient and conversive w/ the residents. Folks in the memory care are regularly engaged w/ projects and presentations and time outside. My brother likes the food and the tv/movie time together. He isn't often left alone in his room. A place for mom we're knowledgeable and prompt in getting my brother to the right place.

Things I like most are that the staff are taking good care of my Dad and are friendly and helpful. Things they could improve on are the phone system. It is hard to get in touch with anyone after 5 pm. There is no extension to call the nursing staff.

A new management company has taken over Legacy, It's a whole new staff which is causing some issues because the old staff knew the residents. Maybe a good time to move in because everyone is new. The administration stayed the same but are not as friendly as before. Along with the staff, everyone use to say hello and now they don't or you can't find anyone. So transition pains I believe. My dad is still happy for the most part. Facility is great and feels like home to my Dad. It's clean! Well taken care of.

Like the overall facility, staff and administration. Could improve on communication with family when events occur with my mom.

We do like it there, my mom is comfortable and doesn't want to change places. The food ebbs and flows with some things being good while others are just plain or off. There are some staff members that love their job and are precious to us. Sometimes there are a couple girls just there for the paycheck. There has been some facility issues like elevator breaking and taking days to fix or generator not starting as expected. The place is very clean and the residents are all clean. Overall we're happy with our choice.

Staff seems to really take a personal interest in my mom. Place is always clean. Everyone is nice.

Mom moved from independent living to Legacy, and I expected some push back from her on being gently molded into their schedule. But I was shocked by how much better Mom's condition improved when the schedule was adopted.

Some don't like to see ambulance come and pick me up a lot I have copd ammusa, allergy, why don't you get well that what the secretary said to me, I won't get everything I need in assisting living. I would recommend people to live there, it is nice and comfortable.

I’m impressed by the staff and the construction quality/physical plant. The promised transportation for residents is spotty at times. The courtyard is nice and the activities director seems dedicated.

The apartments are really nice, a great size, and are well-maintained. The staff communicates well with each other and most of them can give me an update on my dad at any time. They are quick to respond if my dad presses the button on his pendent. The staff genuinely care about the residents and do a great job taking care of them. I think the value for the money is very worth it, and I'm so glad that A Place for Mom helped me find Parmer Woods. My biggest complaint with Parmer Woods is visiting after 7 p.m. It is a huge hassle. They lock the doors at 7, and you have to call a number so that they can come and unlock the doors. Half the time, they do not answer the phone and I have to stand around waiting for 10-15 minutes until they finally answer, or someone walks by the doors. It's very frustrating. Also, I saw my dad fall on camera one time at night and I immediately called to have them go check on him. No one answered the phone for 10 minutes. So in general, they should be doing a better job of answering the phone. The food could have more flavor. Also, they have brought my dad the wrong food more than a handful of times.

The staff on the Memory Ward are excellent. The staff was very caring and attentive. Unfortunately my mother’s condition declined and her needs were outside of their care plan standards, requiring her to move.

She is doing very well there. It is clean, food is good. They always have activities going. The residents s seem very happy. Staff is wonderful and yes we would recommend this community to other families. But they have had one rent increase and another one coming October. Twice in one year, maybe year and a half

The grounds, overall appearance of the facility. Unfortunately I take dialysis 3 days/week, so I don't get to participate in many of activities. The staff is very good

Good sized rooms, great for couples moving together. Need more meal options. There is one entree. There are "always available" options but you can only eat so many hamburgers and chicken strips.

Be prepared for a rough entry I the facility if there is a lockdown. Ask for a delayed occupancy. My mother felt abandoned her first week when norovirus hit. It has been an adjustment for my other. Some food overcooked. Rice a standard and she misses her potatoes. The food has given her gas. Hopefully her intestinal flora will adjust. I often wonder if the menu is low sodium given what is served.

Haven't had a chance to see the activities they have. care for the wife 2 way to high. I think they could use a couple of more people for the medical staff and help with health care
