Do not move in during the holidays or on a weekend if possible. Staff is minimal during holidays/weekends. Dining room is sufficient. To go orders not always correct. Overall recommended for the $$$.

Legacy at Long Meadow GOOD: - staff to resident ratio that is very supportive and prompt to resident needs/ very caring and personalized relationships with residents - excellent on-site physical and occupational therapy team - visiting Nurse Practitioner and physician monitoring and adjusting health needs and medications, excellent communication and follow ups with family - extensive activities and outings, visiting entertainers/ entertainment events. - clean and well maintained facility Opportunity for improvement: - cost management and pricing that aligns with actual inflation/ cost of living (Legacy's price increase rates have outpaced inflation/ COLA) - food variety and freshness

Unless the nurse has changed she's probably the weak link there. The director was very helpful though. I was there daily so I was able to help when they didn't. There are a lot of great people that work there but there are a few bad apples that caused some minor issues for us.

The only drawback is the food. If there were more food choices that would be helpful as well. The room size is what really is important to my parents. Not many facilities take into consideration couples going into care together. Its the only place we found where their king size bed fits. They also have 2 bathrooms which is really nice since my Mom needs seats and my Dad doesn't. The staff is very kind and caring. The facility is clean and in nice shape.

The staff are nice and caring, I feel good leaving my wife with them.

So far we really like the Legacy at Crystal Falls. Specifically the following: - it's a smaller community than some of the larger ones I toured. - it's one floor, so elevator access is not needed (easy for mobility) - lots of bright access to the courtyard from the dining hall and front living room/lobby area. - everyone has been very helpful - we like that there are on site services available such as PT/OT, hairdressers, podiatry, and more than one choice for visiting primary care. - Most importantly, for our family members situation they remind them ahead of time for meals and events.

Staff are friendly, they listen to your concerns, and it is clean. My relative is of African American descent and she is the only one there so I wish they could provide some sort of soul food, and add more outside outings and have the caregivers help more one on one the memory care people. Couple of other things I had to inquire about the room cleaning days my relatives room needed dusting and I had to inquire about the continent supplies I was supplying but after inquiring I was told possibly there is a program that my relative might be eligible for so I'll see. Overall from other searches, we thought they were the best.

We really like the place, we've had a bit of difficulty figuring out some of the services but they did have over 10 people move in the same time my Mom did. Yes, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families. Everyone we've met that has lived there for a while talks positive about the place.

Have a meal there and look at a months worth of published menus, find out about staff and their communication skills and one's ability to understand them. Understand the cost of the care side of assisted living and ability to alter said fees.

The clinical support team is very dedicated and really enjoy the residents. Administrative staff is responsive with any issues presented. Housekeeping and laundry is top notch. Finally, a lot of residents are active with the outings and activities and enjoy them.

My aunt was a resident for approximately 3 months. It was a great place. Unfortunately, she was bedridden and couldn't enjoy all the benefits there. They kept her comfortable, clean, and cared for. I am grateful.

Mostly service is superb Concierge handles all requests with respect and quickly resolve most requests professionally. Amenities are top notch

We really liked that all of the clients had many opportunities to be social. We also enjoyed the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter gatherings that are allowed families to attend.

Plus: Fantastic facility. Clean. Pleasant common spaces. Plenty of activities. Maintenance staff very responsive to issues or just requests for help (hanging pictures etc). Staff liaison person is caring and helpful (although stretched very thin). Minus: Probably not enuf staff to help residents with short term memory or unique issues. One liaison staff likely not enuf - burnout track for this person. Some units need work (heating and ac loud and not easy for resident to use). Also food has not always been as advertised. Specifically have been told that 'fresh' fruit turned out to be canned.

I really like Parmer Woods. it is a good fit for my mom. staff is very helpful and understanding.

What we like the most about the community is the Friendliness of everyone and yes we would recommend Pegasus Landing of Mesa to other families based on the experience so far.

I never saw the property. Don't know much about the place except for the website and the video tour. Wasn't too pleased at them not telling me I was being charged an additional month rent because a closet full of my aunts stuff was there after her passing and I couldn't get [name removed] maintenance person to dispose of it.

The staff were patient and caring. There was staff turnover that made activities inconsistent since there weren't always enough activity directors. Overall it was a good place to have my husband. The facility is well maintained and has a positive vibe.

I would rate a 5 when it comes to the staff looking out for my mother. The facility is good. The cleanliness of the facility is good. Activities are good. They are very active and do a lot of things which I love. The room that she is in is a perfect size with a kitchenette. Her housekeeping is fair but that is just her apartment. My overall experience with everyone is good.

This new move to Northpoint has had the same struggles as all the others. The move is just now after 3 or 4 months moving on to a more peaceful existence. The hallway to my mother’s new first floor apartment is a bit dingy. We have had some hiccups. Like the head nurse leaving so medications were a struggle. Communication about physical therapy recommendations have had to be managed multiple times. The administrative staff is very helpful. Mother is going to all of the activity options. She likes the guided activities and going to the grocery store once a week. She feels more independent with the aids going with her to help. We are getting more care for less money. I feel my mother is better cared for and Northpoint is more inline with her current and ongoing needs.
