Everything has been going very well for my mother since she has recently made the move into this community. The staff have provided her with with great quality of care and lots of one on one time in the memory care unit. She has had no complaints about the food and enjoys participating in the activities that she is able too throughout the week. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

Great staff, very clean facility, caring people, easy to deal with

The staff are attentive in my loved ones unit. They are accommodating and cooperative. This community does not accept Medicaid so unfortunately we are going to have to move her. We have noticed things are positive when we visit. The community looked clean and it is a good value. I would recommend this community.

My husband has found the right place to be part of a dynamic community given his medical and physical restrictions.We are so very happy and grateful for the supportive and pleasant staff.

Mom has been in this community for a month. What he likes the best are the activities and interaction from the residents. It worked out for us. It is extremely clean , public are 100% spotless. A few issues for not being cleaned the way I was told. The bed was not made in the morning and trash is not dumped 3 times a day. Overall we are pleased, no place is perfect. She is safe, happy, and it is clean, most important qualities to us.

I like the care that is given to this community. We like the staff members are very nice. She seems to be happy with the meals that are served. They do offer her some activities and is now in physical therapy. We would recommend the care and value for other families.

I would recommend the Brookdale because the staff has been very helpful int he process of getting my father moved in. My father likes to go to mass Wednesdays and Sundays there in the community. They have a very nice dining room, and the meals are good from what I have heard. The only problem we have had so far is that the toilet in my father's apartment keeps running and they told us that they have ordered the part, but its been a few days now. Other than that, it's a great place so far, my father is relatively happy.

The Brookdale Ridgmar was my mother's choice. The place was very nice, clean and organized. The residents all seemed very happy and we had a good tour of it. The reason we had to choose another place, was because of location. This place was just too far from my home.

This is a nice community. The food needs alot of improvements. They dont seem to have what is offered most of the time. They have great activities, but my mother in law is not active. The community is clean and the staff is nice, but I would suggest other families consider other locations for there loved ones.

My parents were only at this community for just over 2 weeks and they loved it. I am hoping they will return to this community once my dad is released from the hospital. I have tried the food and I like it. I like the staff and what they provide. When I have been there they always ask how my parents are doing. I would recommend this community.

I like the people and the community at Brookdale. The menu looked good and the food smelled good. My dad did not seem comfortable with this community. It may be because this was the first community we looked at.

My mother-in-law broke her ankle, leaving her to require 24X7 care, 5 days before we were to leave on vacation. I found Brookdale Big Creek and couldn't be more satisfied! After calling around for an entire day, they were the most responsive and helpful. They were able to do some shuffling of equipment (my MIL requires a double bed) and make a room for her, assist us with all the needed paperwork and get her settled in time for our trip. Due to a special they had going on, we committed to 3 months with plans to check other locations during that time. As it turns out, we are completely satisfied and she will be staying. The facility is clean and does not "smell like a hospital". The staff is friendly and helpful. There are enough activities to keep her occupied and with her own room, she still has some independence. The wait staff in the cafe happens to be her personal favorite, it's like eating at a restaurant all the time (which she really likes)

I have lived at Brookdale Florence for a short time and everybody is wonderful. They have numerous activities to enjoy. I am getting use to a new diet but the food is delicious. The community is clean and the grounds are beautiful. They have a garden and the residents are encouraged to bring in items to plant. I would recommend this community.

I enjoy living at Brookdale Parmer Lane. The staff are available 24 hours a day if I need them. The food is good and they have a nice variety to choose from. They have daily activities and provide a weekly calendar of events. I would recommend this community if you have the cash to pay for it.

The folks at Brookdale - Parmer Lane are wonderful. The care is excellent, there are plenty of activities, and everyone there is very friendly. The facility is very clean, and has all kinds of amenities, like a theater, library, etc. The only suggestion I have is perhaps they could put together an information packet containing information on how to schedule appointments with medical professionals that periodically come in, how to "check out" the residents when they have medication requirements while they are away from the facility, and various other "how to's". This is a great place, and I'm glad we moved Mom and Dad there.

I was so thankful that I was able to get in touch with A Place For Mom. I found Brookdale and it's pretty good. They have three meals a day, some of the meals are not the best, but the breakfast is great. The people are really nice, they treat you very well. We are so thankful about finding this place.

While my loved one was only there a week due to her need for increasing level of care, all the staff and facility members were very caring and helpful, including the executive director to the nurse practicener.

My Dad, who is 92, decided that after living alone for 11 years since my moms death it was time to make a change. He asked for only 3 things.... to be in Fairfield, be near Travis Air Force Base, & have some of the residents be veterans. Brookdale came up on my search and since I had done a craft show at the VacaVille Brookdale I knew what it was like. As of right now, he does not need the extra assistance from the caregivers but know that they gave great care from what I saw at VacaVille. I really liked the looks of Brookdale in Fairfield right off. After our initial meeting, he knew that was where he wanted to live and told me to write out the deposit check (it was the first place he looked at). He was very impressed with the staff that we met with, but when he met Heather he was sure that it was the place for him. He thinks she walks on water and so do I. He has been there for a little over 3 weeks and couldn't be happier. Dad got the room he was first shown which pleased him so much. It is a studio apartment and it is so spacious. First floor with his patio (which he uses every day) overlooking the putting green and also near the dining room. My son, who is a golfer, goes to the putting green with him or dad watches from his patio. Dad says it is sad that he never sees anyone else using it, but it is something dad and Zack can enjoy together. Being dad's oldest child and also POA, I have been the one setting up his entire move in and have also been very impressed with the staff and surroundings. The meals are also amazing and can't say enough about the waitress staff. It didn't take them very long at all to know that he likes his food HOT and what his favorite breakfasts are. They bring him his coffee and then return with his breakfast without him having to order. And friendly like you can't imagine. My dad has a great sense of humor and loves to kid with them and they kid right back. I have gotten to eat quite a few meals with him and have never been disappointed. He usually calls me each day to tell me funny stories that usually happen at meals. He has met some very nice people during meals. If I had to say one negative thing it would be the lack of automatic doors within the building, bathrooms especially. After eating lunch his first day he used the bathroom and tore off skin on his hand and started to bleed due to the very heavy doors. Being in a walker it is very hard to open the heavy doors. The staff (Heather) was right there to take care of his injury. So many of my Facebook friends have know my dad forever and are always asking about him. They love the fact that he is so happy and are always sending him messages for me to pass on. One friend was so pleased with my posts she asked me to send her all the info I had. They are looking into it for her father in law. Believe it or not after only 3 weeks there he looks better, sleeping better and overall really enjoying life.

The facility is a little dated, but it has always been clean when we were there and it seems to be well maintained. The staff is courteous and friendly and they really seem to care about the well being of the residents.
