Favorite. Independent and Assisted living. Population is mixed she can start out Indepent and add on any Assisted living services she needs without moving. Wireless service for special senior online services and classes to teach her how to use it. They go to swim center with handicapped access 2 times per week.Very nice ver clean. 2 Outdoor courtyards.I like 1 bedroom.

Meet w/Grl Mgr., for the facility. Her attitude and professionalism abt the elderly care made this an easy decision. Also, the facility meet all our requirements.

Rental includes 2 meals daily, utilities with the exception of telephone and cable, housekeeping, as well as transportation at no additional charge.

Wonderful atmosphere. Good relationship between residents and staff. Lots to do, clean smelling place. Good nutritious food.

Overall experience - the right move at the right time. It is Clean. Some features are an little worn. Friendliness - mostly depends on the person and the day. More advanced care is limited. Recently lost the nursing director. Admin - [name removed] is fantastic. The food is adequate. Activities - I have not experienced all, but what I hear and see activities are adequate but not terribly creative or stimulating for the intellect of the residents. Cost - seems reasonable in the market.

The Renaissance of Florence is a great community. We have had a great experience with them, and everything has worked out really well for our family. It's probably one of the better facilities that we have seen by far - both in terms of the the staff and the condition of the facility.

My comments are for the memory care unit. They have had quite a bit of turnover of staff. They do a really good job with the activities -they take her out to lunch once a month. She has been happy and content here. The building is very nice and clean and the apartments are very well kept. I was most impressed with this memory care unit out of all of the different places that we looked.

I personally would come here again without hesitation. We have seen other communities, and this community is better than anywhere else. The staff communication with the family is pretty good, and we are working with the community to find out the best way to communicate with the new director. The community recently lost their assistant activities director and they had COVID in the community, and this put a damper on the activities. However, the calendar of activities offered for the residents is very good.

Besides the fact that they are in the middle of a complete renovation, I would give them 4.5 out of 5 stars (nobody is perfect!). They're not as fully staffed as they would like to be because people just don't want to work anymore! My mother-in-law lived there for two years before she passed away. She loved it there. But she felt that they gave too much food at meal times. My mother has been there since the end of February of this year, and she seems fine with living there. She's pleased with the meals, and the staff have been helpful to her.

Overall its convenient and great staff. My Aunt has Dementia and the staff ensured she was safe. Though it was my error I was disappointed that the clinical staff didn't notify me that I didn't include eye drops that were critical for her Glaucoma. I could have arranged to get them to her if I had been notified. Secondly because my Aunt is stubborn about bathing I asked the staff to have her bath Saturday night so we could pick her up for church at 9 a.m. on Sunday. I was assured she would be bathed and dressed on our arrival. I was disappointed that neither were done. I like that they cater to the client but my Aunt will always opt to eat in her room and that's not always the best. I spoke with the staff about my concerns and they were apologetic and accepted responsibility.

We are very happy with the experience so far except for a couple things. They haven't been cleaning on a regular basis like we were told, it is supposed to happen every 2 weeks. We are also paying for medication to be given to my loved one and they do not always show up to do it and she is giving it to herself. The billing has been kind of a mess too. Other than that she is happy with everything else here. The care is great, she loves the food, and is also really enjoying the activities. It is just those couple of issues that we the family are having.

The reason we gave this community 4.5 is sometimes the response time when our loved one pushes the help button is a little slow and there has been a couple of times where there is a mix up with the medication. However they have a wide range of activities for the residents who want to participate and we would recommend this community to others.

We chose The Farrington at Tanglewood because for the price, we thought it was the best option especially for what you get. The location worked out well for us. The room sizes are plenty big enough for what we need. The only complaint I have had is that they are a little slow on the re-evaluation of care for my loved one. I would definitely recommend them to others.

We liked The Landing at Queensbury a lot. The only issue was they were not equipped to handle the extra layer of care that our loved one needed.

For memory care needs, I would highly recommend Chisholm Trail Estates. The staff, activities, and pricing all stand out to me. The staff are attentive, and encourage my loved one to participate in the activities that are available. There are enough activities to keep my loved one busy. My loved one is content, and this makes me happy.

I would recommend this community to others based on our experience. The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. The food could be better and we would like to see that improve.
