My dad lived in Emeritus Rancho Solano for many, many years over 10. He recently passed away and until the end the care staff who took care of him were outstanding. They treated my dad like he was family. They were committed in making sure all my dads needs were met on a daly basis. My dad was a picky eater so he was not thrilled about the food but I've eaten there and it wasnt bad. I thank the whole team for the care and for making my dads last days comfortable. This is a clean, nice looking place, and the staff are very friendly. Overall we're very pleased, and can't really think of any way they could improve!

Everything about Parmer Woods has been great! It's a beautiful place, and everyone has been very friendly. Mom is like a different person now, she has shown so much improvement. When she was at home she had trouble getting around her house just from not needing to move and getting out of shape, and now she is up walking around the community, dancing, and having fun with friends. One of the reasons I picked this place was that when I toured the residents were out being social, talking, and laughing, and that is what I wanted for Mom. One aspect that I really liked at this community is their dining set up. Mom LOVES the food. There are open dining times where meals are available for a few hours during the day whenever you want to come and get them, i.e. breakfast is served for a few hours in the morning and the resident can come whenever suits them during that time. The choices for the meal that day are also presented on a central table in the dining area so you can see what all the choices look like before you order. As a final note, the attached memory care facility looked very good as well, and I know it will be something that Mom is going to need eventually, so I am happy she will be able to stay in the same complex.

They did a fabulous job, very good to work with. They have very caring people who wanted the best for my mom. She chose not to participate in the activities but from what I saw on the buletin boards, they had many, many things to do. I tried the food and it was hot, and they had many choices, it was not as spicy as I would eat but it was good, and healthy. I met many of the staff and it was convenient for us, and for family and friends to visit. It was reasonable in price. They have a dining facility for family members to come which is nice.

The friendliness of the staff and their interaction with residents really stood out to us. The one thing that caught me off guard is, anything that a resident does, a report is filed with the head office. I just never realized it was that way. The communication is great any time she does anything off-kilter I get a phone call. So I am always informed and know what's going on whith her.

Emeritus was so beautiful, but it was way over her budget. It was $1000 more per month than the Atrium. Everyone was extremely friendly and it would have been very nice for my aunt to live here.

For the variety of people that live there, the activities are really good. There is no one activity that will fit everyone. A lot of nice things have happened with the staff. Of course you are really scared going into this, and they know that and they understand that that is how we are coming into the situation. They really make an effort to ease that fear. I didn't know that they would do that. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. It is a very nice high rise apartment building, and there are a lot of those in the neighborhood. It seems to blend in with the neighborhood.

It was very large, several story building and everyone had their own little apartment. Downstairs was a beautiful dining room with linens. There were always two choices with what to have for dinner. The management helped serve the dinner. They were all very involved. There were probably at least 80 residents. On the first floor there was a memory locked down unit, but I didn't like it because it seemed dreary. When my mom had to go into memory care, we selected a different Emeritus.

The activities don't really apply because my father doesn't particiapte in anything, he's deaf and just can't socialize very well. They're trying to get him to go on some of their outings where they're gone an hour and a half to sightseeing trips; so we're trying to talk him into that. I would guess the food's a 4, he really liked it at first but now he says he's bored because it's the same thing, he says they can't cook fish but other than that it's good. This was the first one we went to and we really liked it so we canceled the other tour we had lined up. Unfortunately, dad went in there at the time that they were changing corporate owners and so the transition as far as communication hasn't been very good. i can leave messages and I don't get call backs or anything but the fact that I'm in there a lot, they do make the effort to answer my questions and apologize. That's my only problem right now and I know it's because of the change in ownership, like their bookkeeping, I don't know if that's squared away yet but the past 3 months they didn't get us the right bill. They're aware of th fact that it's wrong and they fix it, I think they were understaffed for awhile so that was a problem too. I think it's going to be fine, overall it's a great, great place. My dad is flourishing, he's gaining weight despite the food being boring and I'm very happy with it.

This was really nice but the distance was not ideal for me. The people were very nice.

I looked at about 6 different places and this seemed to be the best for us. We're happy so far. They are very nice and it was hard time for us but they were very nice. My mom is still adjusting. She's doing fine. She's still a little defiant because she's from the bay area and when I moved up here this was the closest place for me to keep an eye on her so she's still getting used to it but I've got no complaints.

My choice for sure! Very clean and such a happy place. both staff and residents were fabulous! Sherri Williams is a very sweet and caring individual.

It was very clean and very spacious. The staff and the manager were very nice. Even the maintenance man was good - he should be a salesman. It was very good and we liked it the most of any place we saw but my in-laws decided they wanted to go back to Oregon. Cost-wise, it was cheaper than some of the other ones we saw. It was by far the best overall. The first time we looked at it the manager was sick so the maintenance man showed us around. He showed a room and said it would look like new after the lady moved out. She must have had nails in every wall. The next time we saw it, it had been painted, there was new carpet - it was beautiful. The living room was very large and there were sliding doors to a patio. This was by far the best that we looked at.

This is an excellent facility with lovely people and spacious apartments to live. I especially enjoyed meeting Lynn Karanic. She was a joy and gave me a first class tour! Also, introduced me to the friendly staff and happy residents! Thank you so much, Lynn and see you on my next trip up through Paso Robles to Santa Cruz!

We Choose this facility for my mother. I visited six total assisted living sites and this was the only facility that I even considered. My mother and I have always shared a very close and loving relationship. She has been a beacon in my life and took great care of me over the years and now it's my turn to make sure she gets the absolute best for her as she progresses with her memory loss. I know that this place is going to help me achieve the goal of making my mothers remaining years as comfortable and spoiled as possible.

I think they did a wonderful job, it was very very clean, the staff was awesome. It's not a skilled nursing place which she really needed, but they took really good care of her even though they weren't . It was right around the corner from my house and it was clean clean clean, I think it was awesome

Compared to the other places ive looked at the cost is in line, im doing therapy downstairs and thats exceptional. The quality is much better than what i was getting before, im seeing the same people everytime. i think im improving and im going down to the happy hour just a little bit,. the people there are fine, everybody has their own problems, they wouldnt be there if they didnt. But the thereapist here has me on a machine as a warm up and then we do a lot of different therapy activities from there. That was one of the things Richard said he would do is change things up so I wouldnt get bored and its a lot better than what i was doing before at the other place

It's a larger community. The people were all very nice and they had wonderful services. They were very welcoming and open with how life is in their community. The main reason we didn't choose them is geography - they were too far away from our other family in Tucson.

Irina was not able to give us the tour, but Melissa the bookkeeper was available and I really appreciated her straightforward answers with us. They were having a luau when we visited. The building is about four stories and the common areas are all on the first story, though there are some apartments there too. A one bedroom is around $2995 a month and comes with a kitchenette (small fridge, microwave, and sink.) The two bedrooms are $3495. They include three (plus) meals a day, available from 7:30am to 7:30pm. As well as all utilities except for phone. They offer transportation to doctors on certain days, and to shops on others. The price can increase anywhere between 2-10% every year, which we thought was a wide range. The residents see the nurse on staff who helps determine the level of care they need. They offer three additional levels of care; level one costs $375, level two costs $675, level three costs $975; though I'm not sure what the additional costs include. The dining is restaurant style, residents can order what they what how they want it, and they encourage feedback.

excellent care during a respite month. Very kind employees. My uncle was always clean and well cared for.
