My mother lived here for several months. She was very well taken care of, the caregivers treated her respectfully, her apartment was kept neat and orderly. She enjoyed the entertainment and the delicious food prepared in the kitchen. She said the atmosphere was always cheerful.

My parents lived here for years and I still visit the community and see my friends who are here - both residents and staff. One resident has lived here for 20 years. I have recommended this community to many people over the years.

My friend and neighbor [name removed] lived at Sun City West for over a year. He should have moved way before he did and would have done better if he had. However, I couldn't ask for a better place for him to spend his final days. The caregivers are amazing and the food is great. I used to love having lunch with [name removed], and the staff was so wonderful when he passed and his family has told me many times how great they all were.

Best place to live in Lubbock.

MY family really enjoyed the tour we had here. [Name removed] has been amazing since the first time I spoke with her on the phone!! She understand our urgency and is working hard to move things along as quickly as possible for us.

As I walked through the dining room at Gig Harbor Court I heard a new resident say to two long time residents, "I'm craving a peanut butter and pickle sandwich, but it's not on the menu." The other residents said, "Just ask! If they can make it, they will." A few minutes later the resident was happily enjoying a peanut butter and pickle sandwich!

The care team at Gig Harbor Court is a tough act to follow. [Names removed] are so great to work with and have such wonderful caring personalities and I feel very confident in their care for my wife [name removed]. [Name removed] in Life Enrichment is a breath of fresh air. Her wit, humor and personality are delightful. She's efficient and bring sparkle to our day! I have to point out two Gig Harbor employees that have been so helpful and wonderful in terms of their relationships with my wife and me. Both [names removed] have been outstanding and deserve special merit for making our stay here most fruitful and pleasant. Thank you to/for them!

I'd like to let you know that [names removed] at the front desk Gig Harbor Court have been super helpful; both going out of their way to assit me with things over the past couple of weeks. Bravo to both of them!

I want to let you know what a blessing [name removed] our housekeeping attendant is. She's so attentive to our needs, seeks us out (even in the dining room at breakfast) to let us know she is starting in our room. She's so professional in her work ethic...she's marvelous!

During this past difficult week with my wife, both [names removed] have been personally and professionally outstanding. They both go out of their way to check on her more than often and should be commended. THey often ask for I am and how many wife is and weather we need anything. My family was in town visiting too; and noticed the extra attentiveness. Thank you Gig Harbor Court!

Excellent facility. All staff we have encountered have been upbeat and attentive to residents. Residents I visited with were positive and appeared happy.

I love the friendly atmosphere. The outside layout and the decor inside. The staff are efficient and nice. Food is good. Activities are great. Have a nice library with many selections. I would recommend Legacy to anyone.

[Name removed] in dining is so friendly and made my Aunt beam as she spoke to us in the dining room today. [Name removed] is so helpful and goes above and beyond to transport my aunt and uncle to their [location removed] vet. [Names removed] - thank you for taking so much time with me. I am grateful for you and your wonderful community every day!

I toured this facility to consider it for my mother. The manager was very nice and provided me with information about their pricing and policies. I looked at the memory unit and rooms. The rooms are an adequate size and ok. The facility looked clean and the residents looked comfortable and content. I asked about the food and the manager pointed out a table of ladies that had just eaten breakfast and ate all their food. After I arrived the manager told me they did not have any availability at this time but provided me with information and showed me their facility. She said that we could come back and tour again as many times as we needed and said we could be placed on a wait list. She was helpful and said that she would work with us as much as she can to help us accommodate our mother. I asked about their process for hiring people and the manager said they do background checks and thorough checks to make sure people are qualified and have a calling to work with the elderly. They have a doctor the residents can use or they drive the residents to their appointments. The facility was clean and it looked like there were enough people there working to care for the residents. If touring I would ask about their availability and wait list before visiting so you know the status, but it looks nice and is worth visiting and considering. I liked touring this facility because the manager was to the point, brief, quick to provide information and answer any questions, knowledgeable. I had other things to do and I was able to get in quickly and out in a reasonable amount of time. She also took me in early because I arrived early. I appreciated that.

I lost my mom this week and also lost another family, the staff at Brookdale. They are family. They are fantastic, caring, empathetic people. Each and every one of them are rock stars. My mom spent her last 8 months of her life at Brookdale Pecan Park Arlington. Words cannot describe how caring the staff is. Everyones loved ones needs to be there.
