Excellent tour... [name removed] was very nice,helpful & showed us the usurious configurations of apartments available. We also discussed amenities & the activities available.

It was a good decision to put my loved one here. The staff have taken very good care of my loved one. They have assisted living and memory care, and this is one of the reasons I choose them. The communication with the staff is good. They call with any concerns.

The community tried its best to keep residents safe and secure during covid. My Loved one says this is the right place for her.

The activities are being brought back since all the residents have been fully vaccinated. During the whole pandemic they took really good care of them and would bring everyone there food. They just did an overall good job.

My aunt moved from another assisted living. Absolutely the BEST decision we have made!! The food is amazing! The activities are enjoyed. The staff has been very helpful and by far the best over all. The whole move in was fantastic and so easy!!

The activities are starting to come back, but they are still pretty limited. We like all the staff members we have met, they have been good to our loved one. We like that they try to be a little more liberal with the people who do not wear masks and give them chances to remember to wear them, and they have responded well to the covid pandemic.

The Farrington is a great place for Mom. She moved here from Colorado and could not be happier. [name removed] and all of the staff were so helpful in this long distance move. The facilities are very nice and Mom loves watching the birds at the half dozen feeders in the garden area in the back. A full slate of activities rounds out the careful and caring manner in which the residents are treated. Give the Farrington the highest recommendation.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful and even when we chose a different community she was very complimentary of that community. They are remodeling and the rooms are very nice and the community is very clean. The community overall was very positive

I've been very satisfied here. It's been great, and I highly recommend it. I like the people, I like the staff, I like my apartment, I like the facility, just everything about it. The staff are very friendly and very informative. They seem to help you in everything you could possibly need, and they answer all your questions. They have been helpful in arranging for a friend of mine to visit from out of state and stay with me. They've been helpful in every possible way they could. My apartment is comfortable and clean, with a nice layout. I feel safe here.

We liked this community. The staff was very friendly and they gave us a lot of great information. They also did a great job protecting their residence during our tour.

I would recommend the community to others. The community is friendly, caring, and clean. I hope to live there when I'm my loved one's age. The community takes good care of their residents. The staff is the best thing about this community. The food is really good.

This is my forever home! It just felt like home the first time I stepped in the doors!

I think they've opened up a little bit since my loved one was here. I feel like we missed out on a lot of the community feel of families being included, since we were there during Covid times, with phone conferences only at first. And then we got to visit in a designated patio space outside, and I was actually able to see her everyday which was nice. The staff was very good. I never had questions I felt went unanswered. I always felt I had their cooperation. My loved one was very happy with her individual room. When we moved to memory care, there were a lot more staff watching. We got to know them and felt they did a great job. They were always looking out for her and making sure she was taken care of. They did a great job of posting photos on Facebook of the residents participating in activities. It looked like our loved one was having a good time. In visiting with her myself, I'd say that was accurate. They were limited in what they could do, but they tried to do internal activities that maintained resident safety.

Our loved one at Town Village Crossing is vegetarian and sometimes when the food gets delivered to her room they forget and give her something that is not vegetarian. We do know she likes being there and is happy.

A dear friend lives in the memory care wing of Brookdale San Marcos North. The level of dedication shown by the team here is truly outstanding. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, everyone -- from associates to management -- treats her like family, providing the care and attention she needs to ensure that she is safe and happy. Her room is comfortable and is a reasonable size -- big enough to hold all of her things including her books and DVD collection. The common area is clean, comfortable and spacious. There are also a number of programs are available to keep residents active and engaged. This is particularly important since my friend is very outgoing and thrives on interaction with others. I would not hesitate to recommend Brookdale San Marcos North and their committed staff to anyone looking for a little extra care during their golden years.

Our loved one really enjoys the meals they cook for everybody, he talks about them all the time. He is so pleased with everything at the Ridgeland Place, he does not want to be anywhere else. Our loved one is just so ecstatic about being there, he absolutely loves it. The rooms at the community would also be a five out of five.

I have referred this community to others. The care they have given my loved one is amazing. They have taken care of every need my loved one needs. My loved one is thriving there. The staff knows me by name and are kind to me. The staff have made sure the residents feel included in the activities and other items. There is a button the residents to push for assistance if the resident falls. The apartments are a nice size. The communication with the staff is amazing!!

We moved mother from another large community in Lubbock. I wish we had done it sooner. The staff truly care and love mother. She is eating so much better. The food is delicious with a lot of choices if you aren’t fond of the special for the day. I have been very impressed with the way they have handled COVID too. Every staff member I have encountered has shown a genuine care and passion. Everyone is always so happy and willing to help.

I looked at 2 other facilities and chose Brookdale West University because of the value for the money as well as I liked the apartment sizes, they are very adequate for what I need. It has been a good experience so far and I would recommend.

When mom and dad were residents here for around 6 months, I was witness to how well they were taken care of. When mom passed, we had to look for another memory care [community name removed] and dad moved to[website removed] due to his worsening Alzheimer's. Both did a great job with my parents. The caregivers were great both here and at Silvergate and we are forever grateful. It did my heart good to see them well cared for. Thank you!!
