Since moving my parents into the Legacy at Forest Ridge, we have noticed that it is a good fit for them. The place is clean and organized, and all of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food provided there is very good, and they take good care of my parents.

Beautiful facility. Residents raved about living there. Toured during happy hour on a Friday while they had a pianist playing on a baby grand in the lobby. They have crafts, quilting club, gardening club, media room, exercise room and pet therapy. More than my mom could use. But she would love the hair salon. Handicapped van and community outings. Dentist comes there to see patients. Very impressive!

Tanglewood has been great. It took a little to get my mom situated. ( but I know she can be somewhat difficult) they worked with her and actually have gotten her involved with some of the activities. Better than I've been able to do! They have great caregivers, nurses and Staff they greet everyone by name and are genuinely concerned. If I have had ANY issue [Removed], Executive Director, has been right on top of it, even down to taking her a treat now and then...I would definitely recommend. [Removed]

We are very happy with the care at this clean community. The food is very appealing and a good variety to choose from. the staff is always nice and caring to the needs of the residents. The have a great list of activities available. We have recommended this community to other families.

It was a rough start, but my loved ones were just glad they could be together in the same apartment. They really like the apartment itself, the setup, and the people there seem very kind that is always the worry. Everyone that I have come in contact with is professional but still kind. The place is nicely decorated especially for Christmas. They have activities available and outings such as concerts and movies. We really liked [Removed], she was on the ball the whole time.

My Mom stayed here for a few days of respite care. We were considering it for her to live in after a serious stay in the hospital, but discovered that she needed more than assisted living care. I wish we would have found this place years ago when she was more independent. I recommend it highly for anyone needing assisted living. It is a clean, caring, cheerful, stimulating place.

The people here are awesome. There were residents out and I got to talk to a gentlemen that lived there and he said that he was happy. I just don't think that they provided the type of care that my uncle needed.

I'm entirely satisfied with Brookdale Ridgmar. It's a nice, clean place, and everyone seems very friendly!

Everything is going as to be expected for my wife, she is doing well. The staff has all been very helpful and attentive. The place is clean and they have good meals. I like the positive atmosphere, and the place is bright with a lot of natural lighting.

Brookdale Brandon, We toured this community which would have been closer to our home. We did like the staff and they answer our questions on the care that would have been given. We were impressed with the community. It did appear to have a nice menu with a nice variety. We would recommend this for families for the care and great value.

My mother is still adjusting to the community since her move into the Brookdale Kenner. The staff is all very friendly and helpful, they treat people the way they should be treated. My mom is happy and so are we.

My loved one has only been here a short time, but so far I'm very impressed with the level of care and service offered at Brookdale Ridgmar! We had a disappointing experience with another Brookdale facility, but the staff at this location have really blown me away! Everyone is so friendly and always ready to help! They've been very accommodating, and I get the sense that they want to make sure my loved one is somewhere that fits her particular needs.

Before making the tough decision to move my 89 yr old father here from out of state due to his advancing dementia, I visited many facilities in the area, and asked a lot of questions. I wanted to find a place where Dad would feel comfortable and at home, and where he would be safe and well cared for 24/7. Facilities that were not dedicated to memory care dropped off my list quickly, as did those that did not have an RN on site 24/7. I asked for references and called them - and appreciate the honesty of those I spoke with. Dad has been here for ten months now and I am thankful that we brought him here when we did, and most importantly that we chose Saddlebrook, for so many reasons. First and foremost are the people and the caring, friendly, "homey" community atmosphere they foster every day. Everyone on staff understands how to positively interact with those affected with memory loss and dementia, and I've learned so much from observing and talking with them. I also appreciate their willingness to "go the extra mile" and work with families and residents when the going gets rough, and let's face it - there are lots of rough days with dementia! Staff is trained to work with the many behavioral, communication and mood issues as well as the physical issues prevalent with dementia and the elderly. I've always been able to approach staff with questions or requests, and they have been excellent in keeping me informed as well. Dad is always clean and nicely dressed and groomed, and I was happily surprised to learn that he doesn't have to leave to get his haircut or go to the dentist or for regular doctor visits - they come to Saddlebrook regularly. On a larger scale, Dad had to go to the hospital for surgery and then to rehab this summer and it was very difficult for him in those places (esp. rehab) that were not focused and trained for patients with dementia. He was miserable and I was at my wits end after 2 weeks of rehab so I approached the management team at Saddlebrook and asked for their assistance to enable me to bring Dad back home to Saddlebrook as early as possible. They were wonderfully supportive and helpful and as soon as Dad was back at Saddlebrook his mood improved dramatically. He is back to participating in their outings and activities and is doing well now. I drop in to visit at various times as my erratic work schedule permits, and I always find the common areas as well as Dad's room to be clean and tidy. There is no "institutional" smell or feel to the place. The living room areas are beautifully decorated and filled with comfortable recliners. I was worried about whether Dad would like the food and I no longer have any concerns. He looks forward to his meals and enjoys them. I highly recommend Saddlebrook, and I appreciate the compassionate care they provide every day.

The staff are very professional and hands on with each resident. They offer daily activities as well as outings. The food is good and they have a good variety. The community is beautiful inside and out. The price is good for what you get. When you compare this community to other communities this one is the best in every way. I would recommend this community.

I am glad to see that my friend is doing good here. She does like the activities and loves to hear the music that they offer. the community is always very clean and taken care of. She seems to like the food and the variety of the meals. She does enjoy playing cards. I would recommend thecommunity highly for over all great care for a loved one.

I felt like I was in the right place for my mom when I entered the buliding. You know you just have that "feeling" that everything will be alright if I leave my mom here. It's a hard decision to leave your mom in the care of someone else isn't it? The apartments are just big enough. Certainly not the 2500 sq. ft home that mom is used to but then she can't take care of that much space anyway. Three meals a day plus snacks and ice cream everywhere. That is more than the piece of toast and tea mom made for herself and swore that she was just stuffed! Plus activities to keep her busy each day instead of watching Dr. [Removed] and Judge [Removed]! A nurse in the building 24/7. That's a plus isn't it? I think that you won't be disappointed.

Very nice community. However, it has a weird floor plan in the apartments. The people were nice and helpful and they gave us a nice tour. I was really impressed with the dining area. It was very nice. It was just to far.

We're all so pleased with Earl R's new home at Brookdale Gig Harbor!We talk to him daily and every time he has praise for some aspect of his new environment.Usually it's about the food,and I must agree from my experience,the quality of the food and the flexibility of your dining hours can't be beat.The wait staff is always so friendly and helpful,offering suggestions on what to order.He got a haircut yesterday and "it was so much better than at his previous residence".He always has something positive to say and for that we so thankful we found Brookdale Gig Harbor.Our thanks to the entire staff and a happy Thanksgiving.
